ITunes 8.2 download problem error message
Am running windows vista and logged in under administrator account. Tried to download itunes 8.2 both from a "clean install" (deleted existing itunes files, temp folders, uninstalled all versions of itunes and quicktime) and with my existing itunes software but getting an error message "could not access network location %APPDATA%\.
PS. If there is a problem with itunes 8.2 and not my PC, anyway to get an older version of itunes back on my pc?

Itunes HD movie download: -50 error message
hi there!
last nite i purchased an HD movie from Itunes on my mac. when i woke up this morning, the download had timed out. 2.29G of 2.54G had been downloaded... so close!?!? there was a '-50 unknown error' message on my screen saying that maybe my internet connection had been interrupted and to try again.
so i restarted my mac and tried to resume the download... and the same -50 error message popped up again. the internet connection seems fine too. i gave up after the 5th time. ugh.
does anyone know what i should do next?

Trouble updating to iOS 5 on my wife's iPhone 4 connected to our iM, right before download finishes downloading iTunes comes back with the error message Software corrupted during download. Please check network settings and try again later, however there was no problem updating my iPhone to iOS 5 through iTunes connceted to my dell laptop on the same wireless network. What gives?
Try disabling your firewall; both on your PC and the external Firewall/Router.

On every attempt to install Itunes I've recieved the error message, "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package Vendor." What do?
I know there's a million threads like this, but I thought I'd record my experience. I, too, was having the original poster's error when I tried to update iTunes on Windows XP. I think I was stuck on 10.
I solved it by un-installing iTunes and every other Apple app. I discovered that Apple Software Update would not un-install as its MSI file could not be found. I used the "Windows Install Cleanup" tool from Microsoft to remove Apple Software Update from the list of installed programs. Google "kb290301" for a Microsoft page that includes a download link for it. After that, I was able to install a fresh copy of iTunes 10.5.2.
I'm not sure why this app's folder and MSI were missing from my computer. I had once used Laplink PC Mover to move everything from my old computer to this one, and perhaps it missed a bit. -

I am using ITUNES 11 on Win 7 64 bit. I can download podcasts to my IPOD touch just fine but when I click on the ITUNES store I get an error message that stays "ITUNES has stopped working". How do I trouble shoot or fix this? Thanks

I got a problem on running the iTune 64bit on Windows 7, error message says " the folder "itunes" is on a locked disk or your do not have write permission for this folder. Any one ran into this problem ?
It worked before.Open Disk Utility via Spotlight or in the Applications folder stored within the Utilities folder. Close all applications and 3rd party software and choose "Repair Disk Permissions." Reboot the computer when finished, and test to see if the issue is resolved.

If you end up having to remove and reinstall iTunes and AMDS, make sure to follow the steps closely, including the order in which you uninstall.

There could be any number of items causing this. First off is do you have an active internet connection? If so have you tried rebooting you computer?
