Itunes 8 main screen is PINK!

Hi guys
I've just updated to v8 and the screen is as per pic. It looks the normal colours (grey) when first started but then goes pink when I click anything!
I'm using XP home and had no such problems with v7.
Any help would be welcome. Kind regards,

    Thanks for the help...I should have dug a little further and kept reading...I found the answer. I am using Gmail so all I had to do was go into my Gmail account settings and turn off email archiving. Now the default is delete when I edit or swipe.

  • Itunes main screen problem

    I can't get the main screen to resize. If I hit the green button it just brings up a small bar with the red/yellow/green and play button.
    I've moved the dock to the side and still can't get the resize button. All I can do is move the screen left and right. I can see that there are still items (buttons) at the bottom, I can only see the very tip of them.
    I'm a new mac user ..............

    Hi--could you tell me how this problem was solved? I cannot reach anything on the bottom of the screen, and the green button gives me the same tiny player.
    How can I adjust the screen size?

    It is whatever does not fit in the remaining categories.
    Could be app data, contacts, calendars, favorites, recents, etc

    ITunes will be installed wrong or what should I do to activate these options?

    Go to the front page of the Store, and click Change Country.  Make sure it is set to the country where you actually are. 
    Then you will be able to see everything that is for sale in your country, which, depending where you live, might or might not include music.

    First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
    Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
    If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
    Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely.  Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again.

    iphone 3gs 16gb plugged into main desktop but it has frozen on iphone screen and isnt being recognised by the computer at all,not bringing up itunes at all and when open itunes it doesnt recognise the iphone.     This sorted it for me:
    Backup your iPhone to iCloud (I believe backing up to iTunes will work too). Now go to "Settings --> General --> Reset --> Erase All Content and Settings" to completely restore your iPhone to factory settings. Assuming you've backed up to iCloud, you'll be asked when setting up your iPhone if you want to restore from an iCloud backup. Choose that option and once your iPhone has restored itself from your backup, this annoying problem will finally be gone! (was for me anyway).
    To restore from an iTunes backup, connect your iPhone to your computer, load iTunes. Click the File menu and select Devices > Restore from Back up.

    Look into what security software you are running and disable it and also go to apple.com/support and search for
    itunes store connection issues by actually typing that into the bar next to support then scroll down to one of the TS articles and begin a jounrey of internet explorer configuration.
