Itunes account being hacked

i have an itunes account with you. On the 18 Jan £21.05 and Jan 22 £19.09 was taken from my bank account but goods were brought on the 16 and 20 Jan the bank has informed me.Please advise me on how i can retrive my money. The bank is aware of my situation and has passed it on to the forge team.

Last year my son gave me a $25 iTunes card for Christmas. Before I used it someone hacked it and used the whole amount. I contacted support, (not here this is a forum). When you get the statement by e-mail there is a place to report a problem. Apple did refunded all the money that was taken. Do as the other posted suggested change your password. Sure does tick you off though.

I have contacted PayPal who put a stop on payments. I have tried contacting the iTunes store several times over the past 3 days, and there has been no response.     I guess you're talking about iCloud?  Yes if you can see two devices it would appear that someone else can get into your account.  Best change your password.

    Are you saying that you contacted Apple support and they instructed you to backup and restore your iPad? Or do you mean that you picked up this information from an online support article? If you spoke to an Apple rep or received these instructions via email, contact them again for further help.
    I fail to see how restoring your iPad would enable yoyr Apple ID.

    My itunes account was hacked a few months ago and I'm just now noticing it. I rarely used this account, but yesterday I decided to log back in because I had some unused itunes credit. So, when I tried to login it said that I was giving the wrong information. So, I was confused and so I tried to reset my account password by email. The only thing was that I wasn't receiving an email (because the hacker CHANGED EVERYTHING). So, then I tried the other option by authenticating...so I put in my birthdate....and that was changed too...So...I called apple support because I thought they could help me out. So, I gave them my original apple id and they told me that it wasn't on file, like it never existed. So, I told them that they were WRONG! So, they checked again and said that there was no record of me ever making my apple id. So, I mentioned to them that I was hacked and asked them is there anyway they could use the "hacker's" apple id so that I can reclaim my account (which has money and etc on it). They said that they couldn't not give out personal information.....So basically they're telling me that they can't give me information on my own account! I also have emails proving that this was my account at one point and time and that my infomation was changed by someone in a different country. I had to make another apple id and it *****! I want my old one back and it isn't fair that this HACKER gets to get awaiy with it! Is there anything I can do...like call apple headquarters or something?

    There seems to be a big push in the last week for hacking accounts.  I got an email saying that an app was downloaded from an unknown device using my AppleID.  I immediately changed my password and saved my balance from anything happening.  But the app is still up on the iTunes store, even with a ton of feedback from people saying it was downloaded and their accounts hacked (losing their entire balance).  The only way that I can gather someone hacked my AppleID is from my iPhone as I rarely access it from my computer which is locked up tight and behind a personal pfSense firewall along with AV detection on each PC.  Phones are very vulnerable nowadays, which is why I am guessing this is the method of attack.

    The money was stolen off of gift cards stored on my itunes account, and I did close the card on the account. I have changed my infortiona security wide but kept the rest of the changes they made to my account as proof. It has indeed been 48 hours since I conta cted them, and still no response. Also on this forum others have reported the same thing happening. Very sad I cannot even call Itunes about this. Thanks for your response.

    I CANNOT ACCESS TO THE ITUNES STORE, it doesn´t even let me see what albums are available. I don´t know whats going on it tells me to check my network connection but I am using this computer to post messages here on the apple support but it doesn´t get in to the itunes pages.

    You're not alone but most probably your iTunes is not being hacked.
    Just out of curiosity, what release of iTunes are you all using ? I'm seeing that most of people having this problem have the 7.1.1 installed (I do).

    You were not specifically targeted, just a random victim.

    I agree, whenever i had any issues with Amazon, their support responded right away. From everything that i've been reading on the various threads related to a hacked account, i notice 2 things...first is that they ignore you until you can "scream" loud enough and get their attention and second is if you get their attention, you are guilty until you can prove your innocence with Apple.
    too bad since apple makes great products but their service starting to fall off.

    My account was hacked and all my credit used to call people all over the world. When that credit ran out they took €35 on the auto recharge that they activated ( I had it turned off)
    I only found out I was being attacked when my PC sounded to say I had new messages and I saw they were from paypal for a skype recharge which I had not done.
    I changed my passwords on paypal and skype right away and put in a charge dispute with paypal. I contacted Skype expecting to be told that it was under control and that I would be refunded, However instead I was told it was no problem there end and that it was my fault for letting the hackers guess or be given my password. They then fobbed me off and told me that paypal would refund the recharge but my credit I had before would not be refunded.
    After looking on here I found that lots of others were also being hacked and fobbed of the same so I went back on the live chat and demanded my money back.
    this morning I received this message and a refund of my lost credit.

    I just downloaded OS4 the other day on my iPhone, and after that saw this Game Center app on my home screen. After playing WoW for years you'd think I would remember about keyloggers, duh. But I read that Game Center was supported by Apple so I didn't think 2x about putting in my Apple ID and password. 2 days later I have almost $75 in charges on my iTunes account for movies and game apps. I changed my user name and PW already but still the inconvenience this has caused is infuriating. Here's hoping Apple would credit my account.

    Yes.
    You have kindly given all your info including your credit card to someone so they can rip you off.
    You need to immediately contact your credit card company and tell them you have been scammed and need to cancel your card and get a new card.
    You need to immediately change your AppleID  password and security questions.
