ITunes account disabled

My itunes account has been disabled because i put in my password on caps lock 3 times. How do i enable it again? Thanks

    Just be cause the account was disabled (Apple ID) doesn't mean you can't reset the password and have access to your iTunes purchases.
    Use the iforgot link to reset your password > Apple ID: "This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons" alert appears

    Here is what fixed it for us:
    After troubleshooting the issue we determined that my wife's MobileMe account was being disabled every time she tried to buy something from iTunes, or update her apps on her iPhone. So her account may have been legitimately disabled the first time by hacking attempt or someone using the wrong ID, but every time after that was because we didn't know to do the following in iTunes. First, re-enable the account and set a new password (this is the most frustrating part, because over the last month we have churned through a LOT of passwords). Then from iTunes go to Store\Sign Out. If you have an iPhone go to Settings\Store\Sign Out. Now sign back into both places with your new password. After doing this her account no longer locks when she tries to buy something from iTunes or update her apps on her phone. For some reason the "10 attempts before disable" rule does not apply with iTunes even though it is the same account as MobileMe. iTunes would disable the account immediately upon trying to make a purchase. It would be nice if iTunes gave you a chance to type the new password when it found a mismatch rather than disable the account immediately.
    For the record; many e-mails, IMs, and a call to Apple support were completely useless, every time the account was disabled we were told that was because someone tried an incorrect password 10 times. Thanks to everyone who posts their findings out here, we wouldn't have figured this out without your help. I hope what worked for us will work for you.

I emailed iTunes supoort, and they refunded my account and disabled my account to prevent further unwanted purchases, I followed the steps to enable my account again and sent an email a few days ago. I never got a response and my account is still disabled, please help!

    My wifes itunes account is showing disabled when she tries to buy. She emailed customer support and they told her to reset her PW...she did that and she is STILL getting that message even after resetting her password? We are going insane...any suggestions?

    I should add she tried changing paypal to credit card and then back to paypal (including doing a new billing agreement with paypal)...still won't work.

    Yes, I've visited that page. That's how I got here. There's nothing on that page that describes my problem and there's no indication of how to get in touch with customer support! This is so frustrating.

    There's nothing anyone here can do to help you. This would be solely and totally under the control of the iTunes Store. When you say you're "emailing" them, are you using their Contact page? If not, that's the method for contacting the iTunes Store customer service department.
