Itunes account in US with italian credit card
Hey there,
Im moving to the states next week for some time and i have a question about account and credit cards.
Of course id like from now on to use the US itunes store, can i create a new US account for that? I have only an italian VISA credit card, can i use it to buy from the US itunes store and expecially then buying itunes gift certificates for other US accounts (using the same italian card registered for the US account though)?

Which version of iTunes are you running? I'm running 10.6.3 and the 'none' button that the instructions refer to simply doesn't exist! It offers Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Click & Buy or Maestro. No 'none' at all!
(I've already got the AppleID set up so enter the password instead of clicking 'Create New Account').
Presumably that can't be the problem? (If it is, I'll need to 'waste' the old account and create a second one.)

No. Since iTunes Match is a subscription service your account must contain a permanent form of payment to subscribe.

I am unable to setup a new iTunes account / family sharing for my 9 year old as I do not have credit cards, it seems that it is only possible to do so with a credit card, however I feel it is unfair that I would need to apply for a credit card just so that my child can be safe online

There is no charge for the iTunes Store or an Apple ID unless you buy something or have subscribed to something, and there is no "renewal" of either an iTunes Store account or Apple ID required, so there's nothing you need to do.

Please tell me how to edit my iTunes account info. The we're charges from iTunes on my husband's company credit card. I can't tell by the amount if they were mine that were supposed to go on my card. There's just a total charge and not a detailed account of the purchases. Please advise. Thanks.

Things are even more confusing, because shortly after getting my iphone 4, I tried to update it to the newest version and the phone crashed; my husband reformatted the phone to factory settings, and in the process set up my phone with my daughter's email address. Now I can't seem to get it switched back to my own email address/account for the purpose of my itunes account. Am I missing something? I am NOT technologically adept.
Go to settings, store, click on apple ID, sign out and sign back in with your ID. You can put her music into your account. That is illegal.

You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before. Make sure you specify a birthdate that results in being at least 13 years old

I want to set up an iTunes account for my minor to use without having to input credit card information. I want to give him an iTunes allowance or prepaid iTunes cards for funds.
If this can't be done, can I create a user account from MY iTunes account to do basically the same? I do NOT want to tie a credit card to his account or user ID...

Purchased a movie from apple tv the other night and the next day saw a charge on my credit card, however, there was gift card money in my itunes account. Was wondering why it didn't deduct it from that like it usually does.
if these are itunes purchased you can open up the itunes app on the ipod then tap the tab that says purchased then download all the songs you want to be on the ipod.
