Itunes account its move to iCloud ID

Hello!
I'm from Germany and my nearest Apple Store is at least Removes 100km.
That's why I'm hoping you can help me further.
I already have an Apple ID "[email protected]" and I've now created an iCloud email "[email protected]".
But now I want to delete "[email protected]" because I do not need anymore and I like need to have everything in sync.
Now to my question:
How can I transfer my old apps and purchases from the old to the new Apple ID.
Does it work if I just edit everything in iTunes on Mac,
then deaktviere my Accout and my iCloud account aktviere and then all is there?
Hope to help!

Then what brings me an iCloud email address "[email protected]"
when I mean "[email protected]" must keep anyway?
See only one drawback that I have to check two mailboxes according to e-mails now :-/

  • Do all my iOS devices need to be logged on the same iTunes account to work on iCloud?

I want to buy an iPod touch for my hubby, but he has his own iTunes account... Need to know if I can still send messages through iMessage and use photo stream from my iPad 2 to his iPod touch while logged on to different accounts... Help? Thanx!

itunes account is different from Icloud account.
You CAN use your iTunes account as icloud account, but there is no must to do so. The appstore, itunes store / ibook store and all of these stores need your iTunes Account Apple-ID that you used when purchasing items.
Because Apps,Music,Books are all hardwired to the Apple-ID that was used. If you change your Store credentials you will ultimately loose your stuff you bought.
For iCloud you can create a all new Apple-ID for free, which ten has the @me.com domain. Or if you used Mobilee before and alreday have a @mac.com/@me.com ID you can move this to transform into a iCloud account by visitng www.me.com/migrate.
icloud control panel in OSX/Mac and IOS lets you enter the ID, and "Appstore" in iOS settings lets you enter your itunes ( stores ) ID. Like I said : use one there and the other one in the iCloud settings and all is good.
Devices that shall stay in sync for calendar, contacts, mail and so need all use the same ICLOUD ID, not the iTunes ID ( only to share purchased items ).

  • My wife and I own an iMac (April 2011) and just recently got iPhones.  We share one iTunes account (mainly for our uploaded music from CD).  Do we each need to have our own iTunes account?  What about iCloud?  We want to utilize the same Calendar/Contacts

    No.
One of you create a new AppleID and one use the existing AppleID.
But you can still use the items in each iTunes library.
Create separate computer logins for each of you.
This will give you each your own data. Contacts, calendars, photos, etc. (and your own iTunes library).

  • If two people use one computer, but we have separte itunes accounts, Apple ID, and icloud will my apps I get be stored in their account too since we are using the same computer?

If two people share the same computer, but have separate itunes account, Apple ID, and icloud and one of them downloads an app will it also go into the other persons account since y'all use the same computer

If you  have separate user accounts on the computer, then your downloaded apps are stored in your iTunes Library. See the following for dealing with having multiple users on the same computer: How to use multiple iPhone, iPad, or iPod devices with one computer.
Using More than One iDevice on the Same Computer
This applies mainly to couples who are adding another device and do not want their email, messages, etc. being duplicated on both devices. To begin read: How to use multiple iPhone, iPad, or iPod devices with one computer. You need to establish a separate Apple ID and password for whomever will use the new iDevice. See Apple - My Apple ID and Frequently asked questions about Apple ID. The easiest way is to do this on the computer using iTunes: iTunes- How to set up an Apple ID within iTunes.
On the computer create a new user account for the person with the new iDevice. This will be the user account that person will always use. He/She will no longer use the other user account. This way that person will have a separate iTunes Library
Start by transferring the new device(s) to a new account along with all your data.  Save any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless they are already in the camera roll) by opening your Photos app, tap on Albums icon at the bottom. Now, tap on My Photo Stream album; tap Select; tap on the photos you want to select;, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow) in the lower left corner; then tap Save to Camera Roll.
If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep then you need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself. Later you can copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.
Tap on Settings > iCloud > Delete Account (only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; the person keeping the current account will not be affected,) provide the password to turn off Find My Phone and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted.  Sign in with a different Apple ID to create your new account. Choose Merge to upload your data.
Once you are on separate accounts, you can each go to icloud.com and delete the other person's data from your account.
Note: The essence of the above was created by user, randers4. I
have made substantial changes to improve readability and syntax.

Hi, one of my daughters friends tried to access her ipod causing it to become disabled; i do not want her to lose all her photos, she accesses my itunes account which is on ICLOUD, will she lose all her data - can this be fixed? I do not think it has been synced with a computer before.

    Disabled
If you previously synced to the computer then you may be able to recover use of the iPod without erasing the iPod by following the instructions here:
    Disabled Recovery-must use syncing computer.
Otherwise y will have to restore and thus erase the iPod
    You can restore from backup
    If not in backup then:
    - If you used PhotoStream then try getting them from your PhotoStream. See that topic of:
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
    - Maybe from the restored iPod via How to perform iPad recovery for photos, videos

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

    For how to restore:
    iTunes: Restoring iOS software
    To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
If you previously synced to the computer then you may be able to recover use of the iPod without erasing the iPod by following the instructions here:
    Disabled Recovery-must use syncing computer.

  • Hi. My husband and I have always shared the same iTunes account.  Since installing iCloud, all our contacts and calenders have merged on our iPhone 4, which we do not want.  How do I rectify this? Does my husband need to set up his own apple ID?

Hi. My husband and I have always shared the same iTunes account.  Since installing iCloud, all our contacts and calenders have merged on our iPhone 4, which we do not want.  How do I rectify this? Does my husband need to set up his own apple ID?  If so, where do I need to change his email address info, so that his calender and contacts remain his?  Thank you

You can continue to use the current AppleID for iTunes, but your husband can create a new AppleID to use to create a new iCloud account that will be his own and not overlap with yours.  If you do not have another email address to use for an AppleID, just get a free Gmail account and use that.
You can have as many AppleIDs as you want (or at least, as many as you have email addresses for).  You can use a separate AppleID for the store, another for iCloud, and even another for iMessage if you wish.
You will want to keep the current one as the shared one for the store as all your previous purchases are permanently tied to it, and thus you need that AppleID to update or redownload your current purchased content.

  • One computer, one iTunes account, multiple devices and iCloud accounts, help!

We have a family MacBook and have always held a single iTunes account. We have multiple devices (iTunes Match has proved to be very useful). We have 2 x iCloud accounts. This causes an issue in terms of synchronisation. Is it possible to synch calendars and photos? As mentioned, the music is no longer an issue with iTunes match. Is there a way that we can synch calendars and photos without having to use a single iCloud account? In addition, the only reason we have separate iCloud accounts is for email. Can I keep my mobile.me email without an iCloud account?

I personally would recommend to use different iCloud account for your own stuff like email, calendars, reminders etc. If you want to have a calendar for your family then just share it via your iPhone, iPad or Mac. Yes, you could keep you me,com email address but it should be migrated to icloud because MobileMe was shut down.

  • I used my daughter's itunes account to log into icloud but want to now put in my account information.  How do I change it without deleting her account?

I used my daughter's itunes id to log into icloud as I forgot my information.  Now I have established my account information and want to remove hers to add mine.  I am afraid to "delete account" as I fear it will delete her information.  How do I change the icloud account?

Go to iTunes menu, STORE and sign out.  Then you can sign in from there or create a new account which should match the account you have on your iPad and iPhone.

  • Can two different itunes accounts share one purchased icloud backup storage?

My husband and I each have an iTunes account, I purchased 25GB of memory for my iPad and iPhone iCloud backup for the year and am only using about 5 of that.  He is out of free iCloud memory for his iPad and iPhone and I would like him to be able to take advantage of what I've purchased.  Is that possible, if so how?

The only way for him to share your iCloud account storage is for him to share you iCloud account.  However, if he does, any data he syncs with the account will be merged with yours and will appear on all your devices.  Also, you would share the same photo stream and iCloud email account.

  • Problems with iTunes account after migrating to iCloud

I've been using my iTunes account with a specific credit card for many years without any problem. After I migrated from MobileMe to iCloud aprox. 1 month ago every time I try to pay for an app, song or iBook I get an error message telling me that the postal code of my account doesn't match the one inth bank records. I've checked and the postal code is OK (is the same I've been using for years!). What could be the problem?

  • Can I merge my two iTunes accounts before upgrading to iCloud?

I've had an iTunes account since 2003, and a mobileme account since 2005.  When I recently upgraded my iPhone to iOS 5, it forced my iTunes account login to my mobileme email.  Now I sign in and purchase tunes and apps on my iPhone using the new me.com account.  I expect that the migration to iCloud will force me to use the me.com account.  This will likely mean that my regular old iTunes account, which has thousands of purchased tunes and apps, won't function on iCloud.  Is there a way to merge these accounts together?

    Hello Elarsson
According to Apple, there is no way to merge accounts either before or after migrating to iCloud. What many have ended doing (me included) is to use one account for iTunes and one for iCloud.
I know that it would be better to just have a single account for everything, but it seems like it is just not possible.

  • ITunes account not connecting to iCloud

When I log into my iTunes account using my PC (Windows 8) it's doesn't connect to iCloud so I cannot view the music and films stored through my library.  I have attempted to re-authorise my pc but still nothing.  I have, however, managed to download from iCloud using my iPod touch (5th generation). My iPod touch is new and I was wondering if using my iPod to download from iCloud has somehow knocked out the settings on my PC but I am not sure what I am looking for.  Prior to downloading from iCloud using my new iPod I was able to view/download from iCloud using my PC.  Please help!

Open iTunes and go to Edit>Preferences>Store and make sure Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases is checked.  Also make sure you are signed in with your iTunes store ID (if not, go to Store>Sign In and sign in with it).  Also, if you are trying to access previously purchased content from iCloud make sure you are doing it this way: Download past purchases.

  • IBooks syncs to the iTunes account and NOT the iCloud account

As the title says, this is still happening. It was previously mentioned in February 2012, March 2012, and September 2012. I understand that technically it would be an issue to sync collections that have been purchased under iTunes account A, but the sync request is coming in from iCloud account B, but it's not like Apple hasn't figured out a way around things before:) Bookmarks and highlights and where-you-left-off marks should all sync up with my iCloud account. It is counter-intuitive that my iTunes acounts is being used for metadata synchronising. And it's VERY frustrating!
