Itunes account now appears as the mobileme icloud account??
I am using a comcast email with my itunes account. using an iphone 4 and ipad
When I installed ios 5, it asked me to put in my mobileme account (old-expired) to set up icloud.
After finishing the installation, when I went to install a new app, I get asked for my password for my xxx.me account, not my xxx.comcast account, and it will not go thru
How do I resolve this issue?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

ITunes Does Not Appear in the List of Default Programs?
My wife is trying to get iTunes to be her default media player, using the instructions found at this link: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3202.
However, when she goes to the list of default programs, following steps 1 and 2 at that link, iTunes does not appear in the list.
How can we correct this?

I was having this same problem. I understood how to change the default program but like yours my iTunes was not in the list so therefore I was unable to set it to default.
This worked for me: (I have Vista)
I checked for updates on my iTunes program and there was an overdue update. I installed and restarted iTunes. Then went to my Default Programs tab and followed the instructions just as described in the support material and after my installation of the newest update my iTunes was now listed in the lineup of available default programs.

If it's your account and you can't remember its password then try getting it reset via http://iforgot.apple.com
If you can't get the password reset via that link then you will need to try contacting Support in your country and see if they can reset it for you : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
If you bought the phone used and it's the previous owner's account then you will need to contact the previous owner, only he/she will be able to remove the phone from their account : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515 -

when i open itunes the warning itunes Library.itl appears with the following message. ..."it cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of itunes. after checking software updates we have the lastest version. What to do?

I have 2 iCloud accounts. One is my original Itunes acct apple ID, the other is a MobileMe acct ID. I bought extra space in icloud on the original apple ID, and I bought Itunes Match on the original apple ID. My default icloud acct on my Mac is the original ID, but for some reason my contacts are sync'd to the MobileMe ID, and when I try to turn Itunes Match 'on' my Iphone, it defaults to the MobileMe acct, but my Itunes Match is purchased on the original apple ID. Help!

When viewing my mailboxes "125" now appears on the "Sent" folder line

I am a novice user of an iPad3. My iPad is currently frozen. The only things appearing on the screen are two identical message boxes:
"iCloud Backup
This iPad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi."
Please help me figure out how to get this resolved, as the device is now totally immobilized.Have you tried a soft-reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Itunes won't appear on the screen when icon is double-clicked
After down-loading some music, I noticed my itunes window was closed. I double-clicked the icon in the dock and nothing opened except I could see the itunes menus at the top of the screen. I can hear songs by double-clicking the track in the hard drive, but no itunes appears on the screen.
once you have the iTunes menu up, go to the Window menu. choose iTunes. do that whenever the window has disappeared. that should solve the problem

It used to be that when I created a new bookmark and saved in the Bookmarks Menu it would go to the bottom of the list on the Bookmarks drop-down menu. Now, new bookmarks go to the top of the drop-down menu and appear ABOVE the "Recent Tags" and "Recently Bookmarks" folder. How can I fix this?
