ITunes album purchased but not downloaded

I have purchased hundreds of songs and have not had any problems. I purchased an album last week and it did not properly download and now I can't seem to restart the download or locate where it is. It is NOT on my iMac or my iPod. How do I restart a dowload or is that possible?

What has APPLE done to the ITUNES music store interface ?
I had recently reinstalled my OSX 10.4.6 then went on travel and forgot to have my computer authorized - I had more than $200 in purchased music, but was not using it. When I tried, despite putting the correct account info, I was getting message 9183. Then I read the "instructions" try contacting your ISP bla bla. No all ISPs are equally receptive in reading long instructions for what is for them just another program that is incompatible with their firewall. Why should they bother, and APPLE describtion in the support-base is entirely disingenious.
I tried three different ISPs. Same issue, all three had worked before, I have been buying music from my office in Crete, my house in Athens and when travelling. How come all three different ISPs had suddenly decided to fear the ITUNES store ? Then I used an older IMAC G4 with ITUNES 6.0. No problem with the ISP, got my computer authorized, could play my music, etc etc. Of course the issue is that I want my PB g4 authorized not the relic. Clearly, the PB was deuathorized during re-installation of the OS.
So, here is where your problem lies. Somehow ITUNES 6.04 has some patch that interferes with non US IPs during authorization. Can you see any other reason why ITUNES 6.0 with authorize and ITUNES 6.04 wouldn't ?

Yes it would, possibly even brick it.
Have successfully connected my ipod nano with iTunes so looks like the device driver is working.
Can I use my ipod nano USB connector to check?
It is not much help to you, since the device that you need still not recognized.
Anyway looks like I may have to swallow the loss of data. Have set-up a call for tomorrow with Apple support so will wait until after this before doing the factory restore!

I purchased a pre-order for an album back in September, with a release date of Oct. 29. On Oct. 29, the album was displayed as "purchased" on the iTunes Store yet it did not download. I did not receive a pre-order email and the purchase was not on the cloud.

I pre-ordered Tamar Braxton album or comes out as purchased at this point when it only said pre-ordered before...but it's not downloaded....what gives? I was expecting to listen to this long awaited album during my commute to work!

I ended up getting an email in the afternoon saying that the purchase is ready for download. That's stupid the point of pre ordering is automatically get what I want the date it's released . I shouldn't have pre-ordered and just purchased it today I mean it's not like you can with anything cool if I pre ordered. So next time unless I'm getting something for preordering I will not. Ap purchased but not downloaded.

I have purchased several apps sucessfully but when I bought 'Ipad calculator' recently it did not download. I assumed my purchase had not gone through but I now have a receipt. This has a 'Report a problem' link but that just takes you to the App purchase page, which is rather unhelpful. I have searched Apple Support, I promise, but unless I am being more than usually foolish I cannot see this is covered. Grateful for any guidance as to how I can reload - or do i simply need to but it again?

I did a similar thing with an app called Tweetcaster. I started out with the free one then paid to get rid of the apps and to say thank you, however my Purchases only show the one Tweetcaster app and £2.99 new to Tweetcaster Pro.
I can only guess if you're still seeing adverts something either went wrong with the download update or there is a bug. I'd recommend contacting he developer on the app support section first, to see if they can advise further.

I just purchased this movie on Thursday, May 15, so just a few days ago. I have never had any trouble whatsoever since I have been in Vietnam. I have downloaded several movies and even music and they have all synced to my respected Apple products except for this purchase.

Purchased but not downloaded

I tried downloading an album from the iTunes store but there was an error downloading every track. However, the tracks appear, greyed out, in my purchased playlist, unplayable. How do I either complete the download or get my money back?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I am having this exact same problem. I get an error saying
stopped (error= -50). The tunes are grayed out the payment was processed, they show in the playlist but each time I try to download via check purchases the same error.
I tried another download purchase thinking maybe it was just that particular tune and same thing.
I emailed Apple and no response.
Soooooooo Frustrating.

ITunes Album Gift Did Not Download

I must say...I'm really P.Offed at Apple's Customer Service on this one. A friend of mine apparently sent me an Album Gift. I clicked redeem in my email...took me to iTunes...wanted me to click redeem again so I did just that...it then gave me a message that my downloads would start shortly. Well here it is nearly 12 hours later and they haven't started downloading yet and they are no where to be found. I tried to repeat those steps and it told me the redeem code was already used. I called Apple support and the lady I spoke with assured me they could easily handle my issue...she transferred me to a technician (if he wants to call himself that) and after giving him the case number assigned to me by the lady who again...told me they could easily handle my issue...he told me to go to www.apple.com/support and use the links there to email customer support and they would resolve my issue within 48 hours.
A) Has anyone else had this problem?
B) Did Apple give you the BS that was given to me?
C) Is there a fix / way I can get the download (asside from finding the torrent)?
D) My head hurts...I'm going to bed.

I don't know why anyone at Apple tech support would tell you they could help; they cannot assist with any iTunes Store issue and never have been able to. iTunes Store support is all via web form/email; they have no phone support (no download store I know of does).
Look under the Store menu in iTunes for the "Check for purchases" command and run that. You may find the tracks there to be downloaded.
If not, contact the iTunes Store using the form linked from the bottom of the Download FAQ web page and explain the problem to them.

How do I get my iTunes album purchase to finish downloading?

My challenge is much the same as Greg's dilemma. I've never had a problem before either. In the middle of the album, it began the next song (#14), then stopped a third of the way in and would not continue the download. I've tried all the suggestions that iTunes offers for the continuance of downloading the rest of the 14 songs of a 28 song album. Help!

Mavericks downloads into the Applications folder, where you can install it. Some Mac App Store Troubleshooting information and how to resume a download that was interrupted; some of the information here might get you an answer. Failing that, try contacting Apple Support.

HT1657 Rented movie purchased but not downloaded

I keep renting movies on my iPad but then when I go the the movie app, the movie appears in grey, not playable, and it says that the movie needs to be downloaded.
However it appears nowhere neither on the iPad nor on my mac...
Where is it?

Besides the fact that they are reasonably nice or sent me to the FAQ section of the apple site (dooh!!) the best they could do was refund me on my 2 rented but unwatchable movies with credit for my next rentals...
Additional frustration: I need to wait for 2 weeks for the credit to hit my account if I want to redownload these same 2 movies...

The in app purchases for a game refuses to download so I paid for it and can't get it!!! I either want what I paid for or my money back. Can anyone help by telling me what I have to do to download in-app purchases???

the download as soon as u buy them. if they didn't contact the app mfg. the contact info is avalibe in the app store on each app. usually its an email or website

you bought a hacked modified appletv, and as such you cannot expect to get support from an official apple forum for it.
the only advice i can suggest to you is to factory restore the appletv to return it back to official supported software.
