Itunes always crash during sync iphone 5

Hi, im recently updating+restoring my iphone 5 to 6.1.4
after i update, i try to sync all of my files with Itunes 11.0.0(music,photos,apps,)
but when im trying to sync, its freeze on determining track to sync
after that i try to restart my computer and my iphone but same, its freeze again
so i decided to update my itunes to 11.0.4
and its still not working
please help me thank you!

The first step I would try to fix this issue is to re-create your iTunes library to isolate the information contained in that and see if that helps you to sync. An article that can walk you through that process can be found here:

If the issue persists after attempting that, you will want to try to uninstall iTunes, the download it and install it again from the Apple website. An article about how to uninstall programs can be found here:

ITunes 11 crashes when syncing iPhone

I just installed iTunes 11 and it crashes every time I try to sync my iPhone 4S. As soon as it tries to update an app on the iPhone it crashes. Any ideas?

Try restarting your Mac and your iPhone.
If that doesn't do it, try to narrow it down a little.
What is syncing to the iPhone when iTunes crashes?
Do you see the problem when you deselect some of syncing options, or just deselect the one that is shown at the top of iTunes when you sync?
If it's a podcast, video or audio track, did you get it from the iTunes Store?

Hey people,
Yesterday i wanted to renew my playlist on my iphone so i plugged in the usb cable and iTunes popped up as usual. I sent all new songs to my iphone then the sync message up on the itunes msg panel came up. I started waiting but after 5 mins itunes crashed, the details were APPCRASH, itunes.dll.
So i said ok whatever, re-plugged my iphone, this time it tried to set it up as a new iphone as it never seen it again! I said ok *** lets set it up, then redid the music transfers and after the transfer finished again it freakin crashed again!
Its been 2 days now i've tried everything, deauthorizing, powering off the phone and powering on, uninstall-reinstall itunes, installing a older version etc etc.
It crashes everytime itunes try to sync and doesnt even back up or let me restore a backup file.
This is getting pretty annoying so any help would be appriciated.

ITunes Crashes When Syncing iPhone or iPod

I am running iTunes 8.0.2 and I am having problems syncing both my iPhone and iPod to my Mac via iTunes. When I connect either device and start the sync process iTunes will crash to the desktop and then ask me if I would like to relaunch it. There are no error codes of any kind but it does give me the option to report the incident to Apple (which I have done twice now). I've tried restarting the Mac, I've tried rebooting both the iPhone and the iPod but every time I connect either one and initiate sync, iTunes crashes to the desktop. I am not experiencing any other anomalies in iTunes and everything seems to work fine between iTunes and my Apple TV including syncing. Anyone else seeing this behavior - it just started today out of the blue. Is there a way I can reset iTunes without losing my music library? Also, when I synced the iPhone to iTunes and it crashed I discovered later that iTunes has lost two of my paid applications out of iTunes and deleted them off the phone as well. As best as I can tell they are gone. What the heck is going on here?

Why dose iTunes 10.4.1.10 crashes during sync in windows 7?

I have an issue with iTunes 10.4.1.10, apparently it crashes just before the sync process finishes. It all started after the last iTunes update. Running windows 7 64bit, what are my options to correct this issue?

Same thing is happening to me when I sync my ipad2 with iTunes 10.4.1.10 using Windows Vista Basic. Previously it worked but now for some reason, it crashes during sync of photos. I can sync a few photo directories at a time, but when I try to sync all photo directories or more than some magical number of photos, it crashes. I would love to find out what I can do about this.

ITunes Match crashes during 3rd step when uploading songs to the iCloud

Hello There,
I have just one issue with iTunes Match which causes me to be slightly skeptical, although it is such an amazing way to listen to music ect.
I have about 15000 songs and most of them were added on the iCloud, however only around 200 still needed to be added manually on the iCloud. The issue appears right after the second step where the songs starts uploading. All of a sudden iTunes just crashes and asks me to close the program.
Just to add I am using a dell desktop PC with windows 7, and everything is up to date including latest updates of the iTunes.
What can I do to sort this issue out, so the rest of my music can be added to the iCloud without having iTunes to crash during uploads?

I have read elsewhere that some people have used match with XP successfully but they were having more and more problems with each upgrade of iTunes.
Have you tried removing the tracks that are still waiting to be matched or uploaded. There may a track that is causing the problem. Once you have removed outstanding track update imatch. If this works, gradually add the tracks back a few at a time.

If you have tried 1, 2 & 3 below, next thing I'd try is call Apple support at this link: http://www.apple.com/support/expert/
Or you can take it to an Apple store to see an expert.
1) Deinstall and reinstall itunes on the computer.
2) On the ipad, Press and Hold the Home and Wake Sleep buttons until the Apple Logo appears.
3) If that doesn't work, try a reset, To reset go to Settings, General, Reset, Reset.

Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)

Hey Everyone,
I have a problem that is really annoying: iTunes always crashes, every time!!
I have a HP Pavilion dv6 laptop running Windows 7. I first downloaded iTunes on this computer round about January 2010 and even with iTunes 10 it still does it!!
Does anyone know how to fix this??

Error-message-free iTunes quits? They're not so common nowadays. The more likely error-message-free trouble is an iTunes launch failure ... but that tends to happen all the time.
Better check something quickly that can help with an error message free launch failure, just in case it helps with your one too.
In your Start Menu, right-click Computer and select "Manage".
Expand "Services & Applications".
Open "Services". (Maximise the window to better see what's going on.)
Right-click the BonJour Service and select "Properties". In the "General" tab, set Start-up type to "Disabled".
Restart the PC, and try launching iTunes again. Does it launch this time? Does it stay launched?

ITunes always crash when I press the browse button...

if I have opened the browse window in iTunes main window,and then start to play musics, at this moment when I press browse button to close the browse window, iTunes always crashes.

Indeed, when crash happend it gave me a popup window to say that it has met a problem and have to be closed.
okay, let's try enlisting some additional technical help then.
we'll get a crash log from itunes, and send it to so someone who can interpret crash logs.
Typically, you'll need to configure Dr. Watson on your PC in order to generate crash logs. Windows start menu -> Run. Type in "cmd". Hit return. At the prompt in the command line window that comes up, type in
drwtsn32 -i
And hit return.
This will create crash logs in Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\. There'll usually be a file in here called "drwtsn32.log"
prior to collecting the itunes crash log, delete any existing crash logs in there. (we want to make sure we send the correct crash log.)
generate the crash, collect the crash log, and send it to this email address
in the email:
(1) state the precise version number of itunes that you're using.
(2) include the URL to this thread so that the person who gets the email has some context, but also give as much information about the context of the crashing as you can.

ITunes crashing during sync with iPhone 4

i can't figure it out. sometime i can get it to sync, sometimes not. been working with this for two days now. i've got a fresh itunes, fresh snow leopard, fresh iphone restore. everything has been re-done, but when i sync with itunes, it crashing in the middle of the sync. if i stop the sync, then change a setting like sync no music, or sync podcasts, it doesnt crash, but on a normal autosync i get a crash. anyone got any ideas?

after much trial and error i have discovered that the problem lies in the iphoto sync portion. i'm still not sure why, but disabling it appears to solve the issue. not how to i get my photos back on it?

ITunes 11.0.4 crashes during sync of multiple iOS devices

I am helping a coworker out with an issue he is having with his PC (Windows 7 64bit). He just recently updated to iTunes 11.0.4 and tried to sync an iPhone, iPod, and two iPads. At first iTunes would crash as soon as it would open, so I turned off the auto sync. Then I connected the device and during the sync (step 2 of 5) iTunes would crash. I went through and unchecked everything so that it wouldn't actually sync anything and it still crashed. I reinstalled iTunes straight from apple.com and still had the same problem. I will be looking at it again tomorrow and plan on completely removing iTunes and then reinstalling rather than the reinstall/repair accompanied with a restart of everything. Does anyone have any other ideas on what I could do?

ITunes crashes when syncing iPhone 4

Im on windows 7, have itunes 10.5.3.3 version and now im trying to sync my iphone 4 to get my music and everything else, but everytime I try to sync my phone, itunes crashes. I didn't have this problem before, but after I upgraded it won't let me sync. I have tried removing the .plist files, uninstalling itunes completely and reinstalling, but I keep on getting the same error. I will really appreciate any help.

Just started crashing on me too! I just updated an iPhone 3Gs that I was converting to an iPod, since I now use a 4s. iTunes crashed during the phone reboot phase during the final stage of the software/hardware update. Now, I can launch iTunes, but as soon as I click on the iPhone icon, iTunes immediately crashes. It initially opened a "send crash report to Apple" dialog, but now it doesn't. I tried the same thing with my 4s and it crashes immediately as well. I have deleted all iTunes prefs with no improvement. I have the latest version of iTunes (just updated it a couple of days ago). I see several "iTunes crashes on sync" threads on these forums, but none with many responses and I've found no solutions so far. What a pain.
