Itunes and Airplay - Error code -15000

I have a windows PC and also airport express, apple TV and i-Home airplay speaker. When I select the airplay icon within i-tunes to play to any/all of these devices I get error code -15000. Note this set up worked before the latest i-tunes software update.
I get the same issue (well no sound comes out of the atv/airport express etc ) if I try and use a "remote" app on my i-pad or i-phone to control what is playing on the ATV/Airport express etc (I also note that the although it continues to show the track continuing to play within the "remote" app (on the i-phone/ i-pad) - the song seems to stall in the i-tunes running on my laptop. When using the remote and selecting and de-selecting the ATV/AE they seem to connect / disconnect - ie the blue tick marks select and de-selct but no music comes out oof the devices. I also hear the speakers attached to the AE "bomp" as they coinnect /disconnect.
If I select the airplay icon when playing music directly on my i-phone/i-pad I can select any of the individual speakers (ATV/AE) and they connect and play wirelessly perfectly fine.

Error 1004, 1013, 1638, 3014, 3194: These errors may be the result of the connection to gs.apple.com being redirected or blocked. Follow these steps to resolve these errors:
    1.    Install the latest version of iTunes.
    2.    Check security software. Ensure that communication to gs.apple.com is allowed. Follow this article for assistance with security software. iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.
    3.    Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. Follow iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting to edit the hosts file or revert to a default hosts file.     4.    Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.

My ipad cannot be recognized by itune and the error code is either 14 or 6

My ipad used to sync well with my itune, yesterday after i manually add in songs to my ipad2, the songs were shown synced successfully. But when i remove the ipad2, the songs could not be found.
Eventually, i tried to connect ipad2 back to the laptop, but all "data" were lost, it no longer show the ipad's name, the version, capacity, etc.
I was asked to restore the software which i did but it couldn't work and keeping showing me error 14 or 6, which i tried to change usb port and deactivate third party secuirty software, but it still couldn't be restored. What should i do now?

well problem hopefully solved for good? I went to
Best Buy where I got it and told them what was going on and they exchanged it
for me for a new one.

Can't install quicktime or itunes I recieve error code 2738. I'm running windows Vista 32 with Service Pack 2. I have tried old and new version of both programs. Also, have gone through Apple's online help with no good outcome

Strange how sometimes the fixit works better than the manual methods, and sometimes the manual methods work better than the fixit. It differs from Microsoft fixit to Microsoft fixit too. (Unfortunately, because these "anomalous 2738s" are pretty rare as install errors go, I don't have a good feel yet for whether or not it's the fixit or the manual method that's more likely to work in iTunes/QuickTime installation contexts.)

It is usually given as a communication error between Apple, iTunes (your computer), iPhone. Somewhere they are not communicating, so the iOS you are trying to install cannot be approved by Apple. Trouble shooting steps include, making sure you have Current iTunes installed, make sure your Hosts file of computer is not blocking Apple. Try restoring on another computer.

Either the service did not install when you set up iTunes, or it has been stopped for some reason. If you are using Win7, go to the start orb, click, type services at the bottom. Then look in the window that opens for the Apple service(s), and start them all. Then reload iTunes and try again. If you don't find an Apple service, then you will need to install iTunes again, and be sure it is the current (10.2) version.

• Video Codec used
• Audio file format
• ev. Photos used - in what file format
• free space on Start-Up (Mac OS) Hard Disk ?
but I made these thought to another question - may be any hint in it.
(or it makes no sence what so ever)
A. I never use Finalize as this only takes up lot's of Hard Disk space and takes long time to do for me - and the resulting DVD is non the better as I can see.
B. From iMovie'08 to 11 - I Share to Media Browser and as LARGE or MEDIUM - as sending HD or other resolution to iDVD gives loss in picture quality.
C. I NEVER - use Share to iDVD in any version of iMovie - as resulting DVD will not be as good as I want it
(D. I rarely use iMovie'08 to 11 - as this too costs in quality loss on the final DVD - Non of them can deliver 100% interlaced SD-Video to iDVD but discards every second line in the picture going from Event's to Project's and this can not be mended - I use iMovie HD6 or FinalCut as they can deliver 100%)
E. In iDVD I always Saves as a DiskImage and test this with DVD-player tool to see that all is OK (especially the sound). Then I use Disk Util tool to burn this Image to a DVD.

Error 6 can be tricky. It usually is related to a 3rd party software conflict like security software or a modification of your TCP/IP protocol. It the article that you referenced, iTunes: Specific update-and-restore error messages and advanced troubleshooting, see the section labeled "Errors related to third-party security software". Go ahead and try the first two of that section. If that does not work an uninstall of your antivirus software or attempting to restore on a new computer might be necessary. Wow, I found a solution in another thread:
I had exact same error.....
Rebooting - Failed
Logging in to iTunes - Failed
Logging into itunes Store - Failed
Logging into iTunes Genius - SUCCESS I woulnd't have thought it would make a difference but it does Then just log into the 'other' services with iTunes.
