Itunes and app store in different countries

I have moved to Canada from the UK, emptied my credit from UK and changed my iTunes to Canada (with correct billing address and local credit card). I have tried every trick to get AppStore to join me in Canada but it will not.  Can anyone recommend anything except resetting everything because I don't want the latest IOS for fear of slowing my iphone right down!

I'm sorry to hear you are having this issue with the location settings on your accounts. I also apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of the issue you are describing. Generally, the location/country for all the Store services should change at the same time, as detailed in the following article:

    Try to download something. Enter your iTunes username and password, despite it being for another country. It should then correct itself.

    The recommended solution for most families is to share the same Apple ID for iTunes and App Store purchases, so you can share your purchases, but us different IDs for iMessage, FaceTime and iCloud.  With this arrangement, each person can automatically download purchases made on the shared ID (by turning this feature on in Settings>iTunes & App Stores), while keeping their FaceTime calls, text messages and iCloud data (including photo stream) separated.  There is no requirement that the ID you use for purchasing be the same as the ID you use for these other services.

    As far as I know the language of the two stores (iTunes and the App Store) can't be changed - they will be in the language of the country where your account is based (if they aren't correct then try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in).

    You cannot use the U.S itunes store from outside the U.S.
    This is true of each countries itunes stores.

    What happens when you try to load a page in a web browser? Is there some kind of error message, and if so, what does it say? Have you tried multiple different pages, with the same results? What about Mail - do you use that, and if so, is it able to connect?
    I notice there's a disparity between the short text preview of your post and what is actually showing. I'm not sure whether that's because you edited the post or what, but you had (at some point) said:

    The question in my mind is, what virus definitions? What anti-virus software do you have installed? Have you tried disabling it to see if the problem goes away?
    Edit: Ahh, and now I can see the post where you said that, whereas it wasn't showing up at all before. This forum software is having serious problems this week!

    I changed my Apple ID to my new email and now cannot find any way to access icloud. Unfortunately I had allowed icloud to hijack my airbook files, so of course I am afraid I will lose them tomorrow when I exchange my iphone for a new one and cannot keep an icloud account i cannot access.     When fist setting up your new iphone you will be asked to log in with an apple id and password. If this did not happen you can then do as you suggested going to settings to itunes and app store and add your apple id login. This apple id login must have already been created for the iphone to accept it. If this apple id is already created but is not being accepted by your iphone you then should shut down your iphone and restart the device.

    FWIW, I just got off the phone with Apple technical support about this.  I use Genuis for creating playlists, so I don't want to disable it, but Apple support confirmed that there is no way to avoid syncing Genius data without disabling Genius altogether.  I'd read somewhere else that subscribing to iTunes Match might allow you to avoid this, but that is NOT the case, as I've confirmed, and Apple support has confirmed.  For me, it routinely syncs thousands genius of items, so I have to allow a lot of time for my manual syncs.
