ITunes and easycd creator 5.0 don't work together

I have an older home built system and have always used easy cd creator 5.0 to burn mp3 cds. after installing iTunes on my system cd creator could no longer find my cd buner so the only way i could fix the problem was to remove iTunes and reinstall easy cd has this happened to anyone but me

I don't have the cash to upgrade my system. so buying a newer version of easy cd is not an option. the newest version of easy cd needs a much faster system than my old 1.3mhz its not worth paying 80 bucks to get it so iguess im out of luck oh well.

yes, the early versions of Easy CD Creator are pretty notorious for the sorts of Device Filter conflicts that can produce those symptoms. for example, see:

... how early is your 5.0.x? if you have an early enough version, you can start running into BSOD problems on an XP box. see:

ITunes and Windows 7 64 bit doesn't work together?

Running Windows 7 64 bit, iTunes is reporting it is latest and greatest, as is iPod touch. When I tried to move some songs I purchased today to my iPod via iTunes, my system crashed. Tried a few times and it kept crashing. It would transfer 1 maybe 2 songs then crash. I've not installed anything new, nor have I had this problem in the past and the crashes only occur when transferring music. Anyway, after the last crash I was checking my version on iPod touch and noticed it says I have only 2 gig left on space. Yet when I go to my Music I only have 3 songs. In addition, when I plug my ipod into my computer, iTunes sees all my old music from the iPod (listed under devices) AND it will play those songs. From my iPod those songs do not seem to exist but are still taking up space. I am in the process of restoring my iPod but I am curious if anybody has had the same issue, if so what was your resolution... as well as any suggestions. After restoring my iPod I had more issues. I installed iTunes to my XP machine, authorized it and hooked up my iPod and everything is syncing fine now. Seems to be just a problem with my Windows 7 machine. Any word as to when this is going to be fixed? My XP machine is not my preferred machine to keep my music on as it is my work PC.

I'm having a similar problem - my computer tells me that "one of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it". I'm also using Windows 7 64bit.

Timecapsule and Canon MF 4430 printer don't work together!

So my canon mf 4430 doesn't work with timecapsule. I have downloaded the drivers and setup the printer through system preferences. My computer finds the printer and shows a green light. But when I try to print I get an error:
"Cannot communicate with the printer, or the printer is not supported. If the printer is supported, check the printer connection and add it again. Then, if the Print dialog box has a Printer Info button, acquire the printer information: 10322."
When I print via USB the printer works just fine.

The problem is not limited to Time Capsule. The USB port on the Airport Express and Extreme will have the same problem. And other brands of print servers and routers will also have the problem because it is the UFR2 driver causing the problem.

Hi,
As far as I know, this is a bug in the JDBC-ODBC bridge. I used to get the same error and I used a native driver to get around this problem. My database was DB2, and I used a native driver for DB2. One more thing, the JDBC-ODBC bridge is very slow and you will notice the difference once you use the native driver.
There is a batch file usejdbc2.bat which directs the driver to use the jdbc 2.0 specs explicitly. I ran that before actually using the native driver. In the case of a DB2 driver it should be in the directory Sqllib\java12. But I am not sure about the other drivers.

Has your phone been jailbroken? If so, you will likely never get it to work again.
You can try placing your phone in DFU mode (search google) and restoring.

Pause, back, and fwd (F6-8) keys don't work with iTunes. [Windows 7 64-bit]

All my other F# keys work (I can adjust the screen brightness, adjust the volume...etc) but my Pause (F8), Back (F7) and Fwd (F9) keys don't work with iTunes. Though they DO work with Windows Media Player.
How can I get them to work with iTunes?

This is sometimes caused by a problem with the iTunesPrefs.xml file, normally found at C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunesPrefs.xml. Try dragging this to the desktop and trying again.
Alternatively the problem may be that you have McAfee AV and it is preventing iTunes from updating the same file and thus causing the problem. See Why does iTunes delete my itunesprefs.xml? for details.

It worked just fine last weekend. I have windows 8.1 and a brand new pc, new iPod also, the new Nano. now after the update today, iTunes says iPod has been detected but could not be indentified properly. I can see it in windows. I tried the reset on the iPod also. what else can I do?? HELP

Basic troubleshooting of the device is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Has any of this been tried?
Do other sounds work?
Have you checked to see if the dock connector or headphone jack have debris in them?
