ITunes and iCloud not Updating

As of Yesterday afternoon my iCloud will not update my information. I called the apple help line were they took me though many steps that I had already done and finally said that the server must be down and to try to sign in to iCloud later. This is funn because he had mentioned earlier that the servers were fine. I also noticed that I can not update any of my apps on iTunes from my Macbook or iOS devices.
I am not sure were to go from here. The call didn't help and I know that my network is working fine. I haven't done anything differently then usual on my mac.
I always update everything and keep everything clean. I am running the latest updates for OSX and iOS.
Can someone help?

Itunes and icloud not working in pakistan

I am unable to log into my itunes and icloud account. It keeps saying verification failed. My password and username are correct. Also whenever i try to view my photos I am unable to do so. The previews are black and when i tap on them it keeps saying loading to no end. Is it just me or is Pakistan as a whole experiencing this? Its a new ipad mini which i just bought. ITunes and iCloud not Working with Windows 7 64 bit ???

I just got a new computer running Windows 7 64 bit. I installed iTunes 10.5.2.11 (64 bit). First error was 'The file "iTunes Library.itl" cannot be read because it as created by a newer verion of iTunes.' I closed iTunes and renamed iTunes Library.itl to iTunes Library.itl-old. Of course when I restarted iTunes, I didn't have a library but that was just a minor problem. iTunes created a new file named Library.itl.
Now when I start iTunes it says 'A required iTunes component is not installed. Please repair or reinstall iTunes. (-4204).' There's an OK button so I click OK. That error goes away and then the next error is 'This iPod cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove Tunes, then install the 64 bit version of iTunes.'
So I've uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled itunes about a dozen times. I downloaded it again to amke sure it was the latest version. Same errors every time. I uninstalled all my Apple stuff and reinstalled it. Same errors. Also, iCloud doesn't work. Error is "Application not found."
So ***? iTunes won't recognize my iPod touch or my iPad 2. Tried two different cables. Suggestions???

Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you should be able to restore to factory settings.

That one suggests the installer has gotten damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

HT4796 i have successfully migrated the music but it just shows up in my files and has not updated my iTunes library which is still getting the music from iCloud and is not using the migrated files. Any ideas?

I have successfully used windows migration software to move my music library from a PC to my MacBook Air.
However the music files are just stored in my file system and have not updated my itunes files. Itunes is still getting the music down from icloud instead of using the music files.

If you're using Windows Movie Maker and HP Photo to build slide shows, this is not an iPod touch issue (nor an iTunes issue), so I'd suggest you take up the problem on a web site that deals with Movie Maker or HP Photo issues. It's really not something we can help with in this forum.
If you're building this slide show on your iPod, please post back and tell us what app(s) you're trying to use, and whether the iPod app on your iPod touch shows and plays your songs correctly. Knowing the specific model of iPod you have and the version of iOS it's running will probably also help.

To set up iCloud, open System Preferences > iCloud, and follow its steps to use iCloud

I just recently updated my itunes to latest version and also updated to ios5. Now itunes will not recognize my ipad. What do I do now? I tried to backup to itunes and icloud but it won't recognize the ipad.

I just try to install the setup download from apple website for iTune and iCloud.
During the installation, there was error message prompt out "There is a problem with this Windows installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."
I am using Window 7 32 bit. I have try several time for install, but the result is getting same error message.
Anyone can help on this??????

I have also tried extracting the individual components to the temp file and attempting to install them individually despite being unable to remove the previous install of Apple Software Updater. The outcome, both Apple Software Updater and itunes encountered the same error message during the install process.

You need to go to System Preferences (this may be called Settings in Mountain LIon)>iCloud and sign out. Then sign in with the new ID.

Don't panic. OS X 10.5.8 is the most popular PowerPC OS out there. People run it everyday without security breaches, including myself. It isn't Windows!

IPod not detected on iTunes and iPod SW Updater

Hello, I have a 30GB iPod Photo. Up until the time I upgraded to iTunes 5.01, my iPod would automatically update. Two days ago, I started having problems--I would get an 'unknown error -69' message, after say...200 songs are uploaded onto the iPod. I figured this was probably a software problem, so I downgraded to iTunes 4.9 and an earlier iPod Update. I also tried using System Restore points, but still, my iPod cannot be detected by the software updater and iTunes. I've tried everything the troubleshooters have said to do. Can anyone help me?
My iPod will not show up in iTunes, and for the updater, it says it cannot mount the iPod, or says to plug in an iPod.
Windows recognizes it, and I have realized something--when the iPod WOULD work, a little MP3 icon showed up next to the drive letter of my iPod under My Computer. Now, it just shows the icon of a removable disk.

I'm beginning to think that anything beyond 4.9 is junk for windows. If you can go back to itunes 4.9 then try that and see if it works.

Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone/iPad then try logging out of your account on the phone/iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it
