ITunes and iPhone won't sync. PLEASE HELP

Hello. So I have this problem. I have the iPhone 5 and it is fully upgraded in all ways. I used to have a MacBook Pro, also all updated with the new iTunes too, where all my music was syncronized. It broke, and I got a new one. We tried to export all of the stuff from the harddrive, but only documents and some photos was able to be saved. So I lost all of my music. I still had it on my phone though, so I wanted to syncronize my phone and iTunes, which should work but it wouldn't. It does safety copy, but none of the music is exported into my actual iTunes. And now when I download new music on my iTunes on my mac it won't syncronize either. I have tried DiskAid, but it only works one way and I have not bought it yet. This really ennoys me, and I hope someone knows how to help me

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

I had some time finally figuring why I could buy and download from the Itunes store, but could not load it on my IPOD. What finally worked was plugging my IPOD in to the computer, as I would when "syncing", and, after loading, it would show my device in the side bar. You have to go to VIEW in the top Tool Bar and click on SHOW SIDE BAR in the drop down menu. "SUMMARY' tab, on top, is what I clicked on to show an option of restoring my IPOD to the factory defaults. It erases everything on the IPOD, but gives an option of AUTOFILL afterwards, which it does from the computer. This is one solution of many you could try. Good luck.

Trying to sync iPhone 4 with itunes and get an error message PLEASE help

I am currently using and iPhone 4. This morning I had synced my iPhone with itunes and it was working fine. I came home and wanted to add some music and such to it and all of a sudden i will plug it in to itunes and i,t looks like its going gets to step 2 of 6 (which is the back up process) and then an error message comes up saying itunes has stopped working, my only option to do is exit the window..
Any ideas why this would be the case? its really frustrating me. I am also not the most computer savvy.

Try reinstalling iTunes http://www.apple.com/itunes/
If that doesn't help, if you are using a Windows based computer, could be your anti virus software or your firewall that's preventing the sync.

TS4062 My Ipod classic isn't recognised by Itunes and it won't sync. I have tried everything-please help!

I have the latest version of Itunes and I've tried reinstalling it but it made no difference. I recently got a new laptop (a toshiba, windows 8) and downloaded itunes onto it and logged in because I have the same itunes account on other laptops. Syncing is not a problem on the other laptops.
When I plug my ipod into this one, it just says its connected, thats all. Furthermore, I don't have the option to sync using the Devices tab in File because it isn't highlighted when I plug it in.
I have tried other things that have been suggested for problems like these, but nothing seems to be working. I'm wondering if its just because my ipod isn't registered or something. If so, does anyone know how to do that?

Problem with iTunes and iPhone Music organization. PLEASE READ AND HELP!

I have this problem concerning iTunes and my iPhone. When I add music, and I update the Artist title to organize it in my iPhone, It shows EDITED on my mac in iTunes, but not my iPhone. I took a screen shot of what It shows. The TOP is iTunes showing "Arie Dixon" and "Arie Dixon & Olivia Cipolla" two seperate CD's, yet different Artist Titles, just the way I want it. The BOTTOM shows how the file was originally, in 3 seperate titles, "Bebe Boohgz" "The Jackmove 3" and "Arie Dixon 'Bebe Boohgz' and Olivia Cipolla". The problem is that iTunes shows it in the correct title, but my iPhone won't. This is my 2nd iPhone 4 I have that has this problem. I'm not sure if it's the settings or encoding, can someone help me out? I can't be the only person with this problem. Apple rep looked at me like o_O
I also have music that won't appear in my iPhone, I manually have to search for, but appears on my iTunes in the correct title.
I also have everything updated, and have the new os x release.

As for the message about the media disappearing, of course it will. This is how iOS upgrades work. The device is wiped and the newest version of iOS for the device is installed as a "new" device then the device is restored using the backup created prior to the upgrade.
All the content on the device should already exist in iTunes on the computer.
If you want to move your iTunes library to a different drive for capacity reasons, do the following:
Close iTunes
Copy or Move the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the C drive to the other drive.
While holding SHIFT launch iTunes. iTunes will then prompt the user to select a library or create a new one. Point iTunes to the new iTunes folder location.

ITunes and iPhone aren't syncing.

I wanted to organise the music currently on my iPhone so I plugged it into my mac and went through my entire iPhone iTunes library and renamed specific tracks, I then synced my iPhone, added a couple of new songs and then ejected it. when I open music on my iPhone it has clearly been updated because the new music is there but none of the tracks I renamed have changed, they still have no cover and are titled 'track 1' etc.
I've tried a couple of things - I have synced a couple of times, fully closed the app (from multitasking) and turned my iPhone on and off.
I don't keep many of my songs on the mac I use now, most of my songs I transferred over from an iPod and when I import music I normally clean off mac to save on space.
Why won't my iPhone recognise the changes argh all I want is an understandable iTunes where I haven't got artists spelt wrong and split up and title names rather than track 1,2etc.
I have the latest iTunes and use iPhone 4s iOS 5.0.1 if that helps.

Telephone support for the iPhone is only for the first 90 days of ownership, unless you have AppleCare. My question for you is, you say you connect the phone to iTunes, then try to update the apps. Have you just tried to update the apps via the phone, and then after they are updated sync with iTunes. Are you trying to also check for app updates through iTunes? I am not so sure I'm completly understanding your problem. I have not experienced the issue you describe, but then again, I always update my apps via the phone as I described.
I would try and reset the phone, and if it still reports updates, try updating from the phone without being connected to the computer. After that, go ahead and connect to iTunes and sync. See if that eliminates the issue.
