ITunes and iTouch working against me???

Hello,
   My iTunes account is deleting my purchases.  I have bought the music on my iPod Touch which then downloaded onto my PC.  Nothing bad happened, but once I had access to my MacBook Pro, I plugged my iTouch into the computer and the computer deleted all the music that I had purchased since my last sync.  Nothing is wrong with my iTouch or my MacBook Pro, I downloaded the new iTunes you have available too see if I could access the purchased music that was now gone.  Sadly nothing happen and all the music that was already downloaded was re downloaded.  I have tired to see if the music is needing to be re purchased, but iTunes knows that I have purchased the music, but wont download it/anything at all.  I do have the receipts if you need them of all the music I had purchased.
Please Help me!!!!!

No chain is being yanked,trust me.I'm at a loss here, I think I put the qustion was answered because I thought it had helped me,later finding it didn't. I ran through all of the steps just like they were written,I suppose I'll go over them again and see if i missed anything. Hmm more detail, well let's see,before I recieved my iPod in the mail I had tried to download iTunes, I set everything up and installed, and when everything was done installing I tried to open iTunes,it did the same thing it's doing now, it looks like a License Agreement shows up,for only a second then disappears. I decided to uninstall everything and just wait till my iPod actually arrived,I assumed I would receive a Setup Disc with my iPod. So when I got it I set everything up via the disc. It did the same thing. What other kind of information do you need? I have a cable modem. I tried using Windows Media Player to Sync and transfer songs to my iPod that way and apparently Windows Media Player won't work.

    My 5S just started doing this on Thursday: every fraction of a second or so it oscillates between connecting and disconnecting with the charger (USB or wall, doesn't matter). Since it's still under the limited warrantee, I took it to the local Mac dealer (I live in a small town w/out an Apple store) and they shipped it off. I'm waiting now for the replacement--telephonless, too!
    What concerns me is that many people seem to be having this issue.
    You were right to be suspicious of the Apple store employees. Once they replicated the behavior that you experienced, they should have immediatly offered to exchange your phone. Anything else, in my opinion, is unacceptable. As long as your phone is still doing it, I'd go back, ask for the manager and tell them to exchange your phone.

  • TS1277 after installing itunes, my computer won't recognize my cdrom/burner any longer.  Worked  ok before and I have uninstalled itunes and it works again and when I reinstall itunes it won't work again.  I have also went into registry files and deleted

    After installing itunes, my desktop computer doesn't recognize my internal cd rom/burner.  I removed itunes and it works ok and when I reinstall itunes it won't work again.  I went into the windows registry files and deleted the lower filter which is one correction for this and it worked ok until the next itunes upgrade and now it won't work again.  If anyone knows what to do please let me know.  My device manager shows a code "10"

    That suggests an AFS.sys issue. But we'd better doublecheck.
    Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
    In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". (If you're running iTunes 11.0.x you'll need to bring up your menu bar first to see the Help menu.) Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:

    You can do it by manually managing music and videos. See:

    If you  have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar.
    To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing>Sync your device manually and follow the instructions

    Itried to upgrade my iphone to IOS4 and it showed an error and now its not detected by itunes and neither can it eb restored.. Shows some error 1304.and says cant be restored.i tried reinstalling itunes several times but no luck. it just shows the connect to itunes screen. Has anyone faced a similar problem and was successful in resolving? Pls help.

    nvm, I finally got it to work. Theres another post someone started about the same problem. I just restored the phone, when it asked me to sync, I said setup as new phone. After it was done setting up, it started to sync and everything except for anything I did on the iphone in the past few hours is back on my iphone.

  • ITunes and Quicktime conspire against me!!

    I can't get itunes to work at all and now quicktime's stopped functioning! I get the usual "Sorry for the inconvenience but itunes has encounted a problem and needs to close" every time I try and start it. I've installed quicktime from the main apple download and it installs fine but won't actually work! I've tried uninstalling quicktime but I get the message ' fatal error during installation' and it quits the uninstall. I've uninstalled itunes and after reinstalling it get the same 'sorry for the inconvenience' message again. Need assistance from an itunes expert please. Thanks.

    The most common cause of that one is a misplaced older version of the QTCF.dll lurking about in your system. On an x64 system, the best place to start looking is in the C:\Windows\sysWOW64\ directory.
    Do you see a QTCF.dll lurking in there? If so, try dragging it out onto the desktop. Can you launch iTunes and QuickTime now?

  • I have been uploading my old cd's to iTunes and it worked fine. suddenly it will not show the window "do you want to load this cd" What have i done wrong ?

    i am a new boy to itunes and have been loading my old cd collection.
    Mostly it goes fine - AS LONG  as the window "do you want to upload this (Elvis) cd to itunes" appears.
    Then it just will not appear, so i can't do anymore.
    I've quit itunes, ejected the usb from my Mac mini and started over but zip - nothing
    Result total confusion
    Any offers for a solution would be MUCH appreciated - especially if it's in simple English. I'very new to Mac too.

    for purchases from the iTunes store do this:
    connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.

    Download the latest version of iTunes from Apple and note the location you're saving it to so you can find it once it's done.
    Run the iTunes installation as an administrator, just Right click iTunes installer and Run as Administrator.

    My ipod classic everythime I plugg it in freezes itunes and I dont even see it appear in the sidebar of itunes. The ipod still charges and has good battery. When it all started, it also erased all the songs off of the ipod so I ant even use it now. here are the stats

    I also had this problem last week.  in the meantime,  I have upgraded Itunes in Maverick.  when i connected this am -  it took about 15 minutes for the connected iPod to show in itunes with message " ITunes cannot read the information on this IPod"   there was an "OK" button underneath the message.   select OK.   the iPod will show as empty onscreen and a prompt to reset to factory settings.   I reset to factory settings - ejected iPod - restarted computer - connected iPod - ITunes then treated my iPod as "new" - for setup.  now after sync - ALL IS FINE AGAIN... 

  • E2000 ... Laptop limited response, Xbox Slim and iTouch working

    I thought my problem was solved from before but it really wasn't.
    My laptop connection is very limited. When it does connect, sometimes it dosen't even recognize that my network exists. Other times it says that it has connected but cannot access any pages. Like in the title, my Xbox with built in wifi, an iTouch and really any other laptop connects without a problem with a strong signal. Still other times the following message appears in the network list: "The capability of your network adapter does not match the requirements of the network."
    What settings do I need to mess with to get this working perfectly again?
    I was looking into Network Mode and say I can change those settings, currently it's on Mixed.
    I'm using an E2000 wireless router.

    Your Xbox, I-phone and other laptop can connect to the wireless network without any problem.
    The wireless network mode on the router is set to mixed. Do not change the network mode as your other wireless devices are working fine. Change the wireless channel to 11. Save the settings.
    Remove the preferred wireless networks on your laptop and try to connect to the wireless network again.
    Only one laptop is not connecting to the network. I think it might be the issue with the wireless adapter on that laptop. You can try to update the drivers of the wireless adapter on that laptop.

  • I have a new 64G WiFi Ipad 2 and have constant problems with internet freezing.  It is not my router as my other products including and iTouch work fine.

    I have had this problem since i got the iPad home.  It is set up exactly the same as my iTouch (that I have had for some time with no problems)  I updated the SW yesterday to 4.3.5 and there is no improvement at all.  I can surf for a while then the IPad freezes.  Even updating Apps is almost impossible with my iPad as I lose connection with ITunes constantly.
    This is driving me mad and I am now regretting buying an IPad at all.

    Try the following to see if they help.
    For Safari try clearing it's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History)
    Try closing all apps completely and then re-open them : from the home screen (i.e. not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
    Then do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

    I have my iPod Chromatic Nano which appears to work fine with iTunes, but as soon as I insert my iPod Touch, within seconds I get the blue screen, having to reboot my computer, I've tried reinstalling my iTunes yet it still doesn't fix the problem.

    There is no 6th generation iPod touch.  The latest/current is the 4G.

    It is unclear as to your problem. You say you can't sync. What happens when you try to sync?
    The you say it it frozen. How frozen? What shows on the screen? have you tried:

    I tried downloading an application on my Ipod touch and when I did I got the message "this apple ID had been disabled for security reasons"..I then tried to log on using itunes on my computer and got the same message.
    I do not know what the heck is going on with it and was hoping maybe someone has had this problem and new how to fix it?
