ITunes app crashes on iPhone5

What the heck is the problem here?! App worked few weeks and then it started to crash when trying to open it. Tried hard-reset, log out and back in. Tried to mess around with cookies and nothing works.
I have iOS 7.0.2 and now upgrading it to version iOS 7.0.3.
Anyone else have same problems?

  • Itunes app crashes on opening.Cant open it.

    Hi !
I recently upgraded my Mac Mini (Mid 2011) with OSX Mavericks. Previously I had OSX Mountain Lion. After installing i noticed that the iTunes app on Mavericks OS had older version 11.x and my Mountain Lion HDD had latest version 12.x. So first I tried to copy the 12.x iTunes app and then replace it over iTunes 11.x on My mac but it was refused.
Later on what I did was, right click iTunes.app (12.x)> Show Package Contents ,copied the complete folder and replace the same with one on My Mavericks installed (11.x). The packages changed and iTunes New Red Logo also appears but when I click it, it crashes . Here is the latest Log.
Also, App store app also does not show iTunes update anymore as I have package contents for the latest one.

Is there any way I can force download iTunes.app ?
    Thanks,

Move your iTunes app to the trash using this Terminal command: please copy paste it or make REALLY sure you didn't make a typo.
    sudo rm -R /Applications/iTunes.app/
Then re-download and install it from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
In the future, use Software Update to get a newer version of an application, instead of copying it.

  • IOS6 iTunes App Crash

In order to get iOS6 on my iPhone 4, I had to delete some music to have the necessary 2.5 GB for the update. When attempting to recover large music collections (The Beatles Box Set) the app crashes when loading up the list of albums. I've restarted, hard rebooted, and tried on Wi-Fi as well as 3G. I've let the app run until it just crashes out tons of times. A screenshot is below, it doesn't give much help but at least shows you the current step I am stuck on. Any one have any ideas on how to get the music back?

  • ITunes App crashes when streaming podcasts

    Hi,
When I stream podcasts from the iTunes app, sometimes it works fine, but most of the time, iTunes will either close all together, or close out of the stream. I will sometimes have to click to start the stream 4 or 5 times before it will actually play. It has been this way with every OS I have had installed on my phone.
    Any help appreciated. Thanks!

I should clarify--I'm not trying to stream, per se, but rather my entire music collection is on a NAS. In the past I've added all this music to my itunes library so I can sync with iphone, etc. It's sometimes slow, mostly because of the ridiculous "gapless playback" check, but usable. Itunes 10 is completely worthless--couldn't even get the library loaded without an eternal spinning ball. If anyone else has had this issue and has updated to 10.01 successfully, please let me know. I don't want to go through rebuilding my library again if the update doesn't work.

  • ITunes app crashes

    Hi,
When i try to launch iTunes on my iPod Touch iOS 2.2.1, it processes for about 5 seconds and then goes back to the home screen. The App Store loads fine and I've not noticed any other apps with problems. I've tried to restart but nothing works. Thoughts?

    - Have you tried resetting the iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Next would be to restore from backup via iTunes
    - Then restore to factory defaults via iTunes.

  • ITunes app crashes and won't load....thoughts?

When i try to launch iTunes on my iPhone, it processes for about 5 seconds and then goes back to the iPhone screen. The App Store loads fine and I've not noticed any other apps with problems. I've tried restart but nothing works. Thoughts???
    Thanks!

I would suggest to first power the iPhone off, wait one minute and then power it back on. This issue has happened to me with the app store (not iTunes) but the symptoms were similar. After a power off/power on the issue went away.
To power off, hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the "slide to power off" message appears, then slide. Wait one minute (especially if the iPhone is warm or hot) then press and hold the power button until the apple logo appears.
Some will recommend to reboot instead, by holding both buttons past the slider until the apple logo appears, but I noticed that in my case, this causes the reboot to take up to 5 times longer, so long in fact, that I worry every time that the iPhone was stuck; by powering off first, italways restarts quickly.
    Good luck.

  • Only preinstalled apps work now, how do I get to use my other apps again? I have 3GS with newest update but all of my itunes apps crash directly when I try to launch them. Reboot doesnt work, email wasnt loading before this issue so I reset now this.

My phone is not jailbroken and I have had no problems until now. I updated the firmware a few weeks ago with no problem. I noticed yesterday I wasnt getting all of my emails because I get some of the same emails on multiple accounts and they were not showing up. The refresh pinwheel just kept spinning but I did not think much of the problem because there is not good service in the building and plus I hava a number from the east coast but since I'm on the West coast I get subpar service comparred with the local number people, is this true? Anyways I got home and my email would still not ever finish loading so I turned the phone off but it wouldnt turn off. After 15 miniutes the shutdown pinwheel just kept spinning so then I did a hard reboot and it quickly shut down. I started it back and my email works now but none of the apps from the app store work.

Go to your App Store application and under the Featured section, scroll all the way to the bottom and tap on you account.  Sign out of the account, then sign back in from the same section.  Download a free application (any free app should do the trick) and that should make all of your apps work again.

  • ITunes app crashes when I try to use video controls

    Hi,
I have downloaded a couple of movies from iTunes to my iPhone 3GS.
I can play the movies OK, and fast-forward & rewind, but if I try to use pause or the timeline scrub bar, then iTunes just exits.
If I go back in, the movie is always back at the start.
    Thanks

I found out the answer - Quicktime was damaged. I deleted it and downloaded a new copy and all worked fine

  • ITunes app on iPad crashes immediately after launch, App Store app opens

I know that Ping isn't going to be available to be available until 4.2, but I the iPad iTunes app is still supposed to do something other than redirect to the App Store app right? Is anyone else experiencing this behavior? I've seen other reports of iPad iTunes app crashing under certain conditions, so perhaps this is related to that, I really don't know.
Do I need to restore my device? Will this simply be a non-issue when 4.2 rolls out?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi retepppank69,
I have exactly the same problem. I had called AppleCare and told this problem. They say to me instantly that the best way is to exchange the iPad directly.
Today I sent to Apple my iPad and waiting now for the new iPad.

  • ITunes app not working (iOS7)

Upgraded my iPhone5 to iOS7 and the iTunes app crashes constantly.... any pointers?

Go to your music app (not iTunes) click on songs then click on the store button in the left corner and it should take you to iTunes. Then try going back into iTunes thru the iTunes app again.
