ITunes app never works!

I have a ipod touch 5g.Its my first idevice so help me out here!So when i go to itunes app(on ipod,not laptop.i am taking about the app preinstall on idevices).when i click on it i only get option of downloading podcasts app and itunes U app but itune store never open.Most of the times when i open itunes an error appear "cannot connect to itunes" and when i get through this instead itunes those two options appear??wht the **** am i suppose to d0??

Hi
Try to reset your iPod and then deauthorize and reauthorize your computer, then sync the iPod again.
To reset the iPod touch just hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see an Apple logo appear.
You can deauthorize the computer from the iTunes Store menu.

i hv OS X 10.8.2 mac, when i dwnload apps from itunes app store on my mac.. they dont work, why??? n if they are only for iphones n ipads then why that facility is given in mac?

Indeed, the apps you download from the iTunes Store require the IOS operating system and will run only on mobile devices. You can buy them on your mac and sync them to your IOS devices, because it is more convenient to browse the iTunes App Store from a computer with a larger screen than from your iPhone or iPod. Also is it easier to sync them to all your devices and to back them up, if you have them in your iTunes library.

Podcast episodes won't download in iTunes app (but works fine on desktop)

Hi, I can't figure this out:
Our podcast episodes simply won't download in the iTunes app on iPhone. The download simply stops at 10.3 kB (or sometimes at another value), without really getting started at all.
This is very odd, since downloads are working fine in iTunes on the desktop, and in other apps on the phone (such as Instacast).

OK, seems like I located the problem - sort of. It's not the feed that's the issue, but rather the fact that I'm pushing my MP3-files through a PHP script which does some statcounting. If I access the MP3 files directly, the iTunes app downloads them OK.
So I'm guessing maybe my headers aren't exactly what the iTunes app is expencting? Here's a snippet from the PHP file which outputs the MP3 data:

ITunes Wifi NEVER works using drag

When I'm home and my iPhone 4S & MacBook Pro are on the same wifi network.....I try to drag & drop a song from my iTunes library onto my iPhone. It NEVER works! It always says "looking for iPhone" & then ejects my iPhone from the left sidebar of iTunes or it will add it but it will be dimmed with a circular wifi sync icon next to it in my iPhone library so it's there but it isn't live. I tried to ask about this a year ago & I was yelled at here on the forums saying "YOU CAN'T FIX SOMETHING THAT ISN'T BROKE" by some user with an attitude. Cleary, there's a problem with wifi syncing and I'm surpirised Apple hasn't fixed this yet. Anyone have an answer to this?

Another oddity: When this iPad syncs, it does NOT create a backup as part of the process (whether wired or wireless). All my other devices do, as one would expect...

Blackberry 8130 MYSPACE APP never works

the myspace app just says password and email combination is incorrect. even when i try to hit search for updates it doesnt do anything except says it cannot search for update. it never even shows data tries to push through. it says myspace app should work without bis and at 1 time i had it working but when i connected bbdm to bb it automaticaly erased the only myspace app that ever worked on my phone. when i go back to the original download site it only downloads the new myspace app 2.something and it must require bis? how can i find or get myspace to work without bis ? facebook works

Upgraded my iPhone5 to iOS7 and the iTunes app crashes constantly.... any pointers?

Go to your music app (not iTunes) click on songs then click on the store button in the left corner and it should take you to iTunes. Then try going back into iTunes thru the iTunes app again.

Will apps on ipod only work if you have a wireless router? My apps never work. they very briefly start but then put me back on the homescreen.

Tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings.
Then restart your iPod. Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPod touch. To turn iPod touch back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

ITunes Match never works!

I purchase iTunes Match four days ago. I only have 12k songs in my library. Match never completes step one. Errors 4002 and 4010 continuously appear. None of the solutions posted online have worked. What is the solution?

This looks like an Apple infrastructure loading issue. Would suggest creating a new empty library, configuring iTunes Match and importing 1000 Songs at a time - allowing iTunes Match to complete its cycle for each batch.
Of course this should not be necessary but many others have suffered similar errors - there are no indications of preferred routes from Apple direct.

If what razmee209 said dose not work, you could also try the following:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
This deletes all of your preference settings, returning them to the defaults. It will not erase any of your data or apps.

Is there some logic to how iTunes app rearrangement works with iPhone?

In iTunes I rearrange apps and delete apps and then apply and a bunch of apps which are unselected and deleted from various home screens re-appear on my iPhone 5 anyway.
Is there any logic to how it works?

Siri will do that. All you have to do is hold the home button down to activate it, then say 'read me my new text messages'.
Keep in mind that in some jurisdictions, this is illegal as they don't distinguish between hands free texting and regular texting. If you're pulled over and they determine text messages were sent from your phone while you were driving, you're guilty.

My itunes app was working fine then all of a sudden I'm getting an error - The Itunes application could not be opened. The required folder cannot be found. But it doesn't tell me what folder.

I am using Windows Vista. My itunes launched fine until now. Now I get an error - "The Itunes application could not be opened. The required folder cannot be found". I have no idea what file it is looking for. Has anyone seen this error?
I have also tried to uninstall the package and I get the error Could not access network location %APPDATA%\. And it won't uninstall. I don't know why it's complaining in both cases.
Itunes was working 3 weeks ago with no problem.

2 iPhones, 2 iClouds, 1 iTunes apps not working on one of the phones.

My girlfriend has an iphone which we share my computer's music and iTunes to backup data and sync our apps but after the last sync and OS update all her apps aren't launching on her iPhone or at least the ones that she bought with her iTunes account. Also when connecting to the computer the iPhone no longer appears in iTunes.
