Itunes/app store reviews not showing up on iPhone 4

Is anybody else having trouble reading the reviews for the app store and itunes? I can see the number of starts and number of reviews, but when I try to read them my iPhone 4 doesn't show them. I am able to read some reviews, but for the most part it doesn't show them. I'm trying to find out if the problem is with my iPhone or the app store/itunes.

Same here. When try to read review it will kick me back to my phones home screen.

Hi,
Over the last few weeks it seems the app store isn't showing screen shots when i click to see more info about the app. I've been looking at ipad apps, sometimes i get some screen shots but mostly i dont. I've read a thread about resetting the cache in preferences but this didn't work.
Its really harsh not being able to see screen shots before you purchase.
Any ideas!?

Having the same issue as OP. iPad only apps don't show any screen shots in iTunes or on the Web, but i see them on iTunes Connect. Mac App Store applications are showing their screen shots just fine as are iPhone apps.
Does this have something to do with widescreen on iPad, retina display?? We used high quality screen shots for our applications, the best quality the developers guide mentions.
We double checked the Developers Reference Guide for specifications on screen shots and tried 3 of the suggested formats(JPEG, TIFF, PNG) with reso 1024x768 px but nothing has changed since thursday (june 23rd) last week.
0%       iPad applications show screen shots on the iTunes store for me as I write this.
100%   iPhone applications show screen shots.
100%   Mac App Store show screen shots...
Anyone have any more to add? suggestions?
I have already entered a bug report for this.

I just found the problem, open iTunes and select Preferences > Advanced > Reset cache. This helped me, I been having the same problem for the past week.

I tried doing
iTunes > Preferences > Advanced > Reset cache
but that didn't work for me even with restarting iTunes afterward.
However, here's what did fix the problem. Launch
/Applications/Utilities/Java Preferences
Under the 'General' tab click both of the "Restore Defaults" buttons.
Changes take effect after re-launching iTunes.

iTunes uses the same Web Engine as Safari to display the store, so the Safari update could be the issue.
Try running Repair Permissions, it is in the Disk Utility software that is in your Utilities folder.

Anyone else having issues with app store reviews not showing up?

I have maybe about a 50% success rate in posting reviews. The conspiracy theorist in me notices that I have never had a positive review not post, and that negative reviews for apps in the 'featured app' sections seem to never post.

OS X Mavericks - iTunes/app store account not showing past purchases

Since upgrading to OS X Mavericks (the install crashed and corrupted my HD so had to do a clean install), the app store and itunes store past purchases are not showing, or in the case of the itunes store it shows that there are 331 purchases but the list is blank and there is no option to restore/download.

It sounds like you are signed into your Apple ID in iTunes but when you try and download your previous purchases the list is empty.
I want to recommend signing out of the iTunes store, then restart your computer.
To sign in to or out of the iTunes Store:
In iTunes, choose Store > Sign In (or Sign Out).

After restarting your computer try to download your previous purchases again.

How to upgrade to aperture 3.5 when the app store does not show the update. I did buy aperture 3 on DVD not thru the app store. what to do?

I can not open aperture databases anymore as osx10.9 keeps telling me i have opened it with a newer version, which i have not but i understand from other discussions that thru the upgrade of iphoto osx automatically thinks that you have opened with aperture 3.5. the app store does not show me the update as i have not purchased the program thru the app store but on dvd. what to do?

If you are running MacOS X 10.9 and Aperture is installed in your Applications folder and simply called Aperture, not Apertre 3 or something, the AppStore should be showing you the update.
Have you already updated to Aperture 3.4.5 from the Support page Aperture 3.4.5?
Try to update manually to 3.4.5 and then reboot and sign again into the AppStore with your AppleID and look at the Update page.
For some forum members it helped to set the main system language to English U.S. to make the update finally show.

Having the same problem. No response from Apple as I tried all the suggestions. Had to perform a system restore. Currently iy's working. Make sure you backup everything to your computer. IOS6 is still glitchy in other areas.

Songs purchased on iPhone through iTunes Store will not show up on iPhone after syncing with iTunes

I recently purchased iTunes Match (about a month ago). Since purchasing Match, any songs that I have bought on my iPhone 4S (32GB, Sprint) through the iTunes Store app will not sync back to my iPhone after syncing with iTunes on my computer. I have iOS 7.1.2 and iTunes 11.3.0.54. The only way I can get them to show back up in my iPhone music library so I can play them is by re-downloading the songs through the iTunes Store app. Which is super annoying because now it is about 10 songs that keep doing this, and they are in multiple playlists. Is anyone else having this problem and have you found any fixes? Really regretting purchasing the iTunes Match (which is not enabled on my iPhone, just on my computer).

How to create custom ringtones ...
1. Open iTunes.
2. Find the song that you want to make into a ringtone.
3. Listen to the song and find the part of it you want to use. The chorus may be a good place to start.
4. Write down the start and stop times of the clip.
5. Right-click the song and select "Get Info."
6. Click the "Options" tab.
7. Type in the start time of your ringtone in the text box next to "Start Time" in the minutes:seconds (i.e., 2:01) format.
8. Type in the end time of your ringtone in the text box next to "Stop Time." Make sure the ringtone is no more than 30 seconds long.
9. Click "OK."
10. Right-click your song again and select "Convert Selection to AAC." Wait for iTunes to convert your song. It will create a duplicate version.
11. Right-click the ringtone and select "Delete."
12. Click on the "Keep Files" button.
13. Find the file. It's usually in your User folder under "Music > iTunes > iTunes Music" and under the band's name. It will have an extension of m4a.
14. Replace the m4a extension of your ringtone with m4r. You can either double-click slowly to rename your file, or right-click and select "Get Info" on a Mac or "Rename" on a Windows PC.
15. Click "Use .m4r" or the PC equivalent when the system warns you that the change may affect the use of your file.
16. Double-click the ringtone file. ITunes will automatically add it to your ringtones folder in your iTunes Music Library.
17. Connect your iPhone and sync your ringtones.
Oh, also to change a file extension. (not sure on Mac), but in Windows you need to go to "control panel" select "folder options". You need to uncheck the box "hide file extension for known file types". This will allow you to view and change the files extensions.

TS1702 Updates in App Store is not showing the Apps list

After updating iOS to 6.1 in my iPhone 4s, while tapping 'Updates' in App Store, it is not showing the Apps list, though over the icon it is showing that 11 Apps has got Updates available.

i've had your same proble,
you have to go on settings-->itunes&app stores-->apple ID and sign out.
after this restart your device:
Reset the iPhone by holding the sleep/wake button at the top right of the device and the home buttonat the bottom center of the face at the same time.
Hold them both until you see the screen go black. In some cases, you may need to keep holding them even after the red power off slider appears. If it does, just keep holding it.
Wait until the white Apple logo appears.
ok, now go to settings-->itunes&app stores-->apple ID and sign in again
... for me it worked

Hmmmm... would appear that you need to be actually logged in to enable the additional menu features.
Have you tried deletting the plists for MAS?

Why do my App Store reviews NEVER show up in the reviews section of apps? I've left dozens of reviews and I've NEVER seen one in the store? Why is Apple censoring reviews?

What happens: I am asked within an app to "Write a review?" I say yes. I'm directed to the App Store page with the description of the App. I click on Write a Review. I write a review, and rate the app. I'm asked to enter my password, which I do. It seems to have no effect. Another identical window comes up asking me if I have an AOL, or iTunes account to enter it again. There's no confirmation either that my review was submitted or not submitted or that there is something wrong with my sign-in or that it was even successful. This repeats ad infinitum until I give up and go back to whatever I was doing. My reviews never show up. I've written all kinds: good, bad, indifferent. Am I blacklisted? What is going on?

Same problem. I submitted a review on 11/30 for the Chromecast app (which I had installed and used on the iPad 3 I was posting from), and it still hasn't shown up, as of 12/6. I don't think it takes that long to post, considering I see reviews all of the time posted on the first day the app is available. What is Apple's policy for app review content...perhaps there's something I wrote there that's non-compliant? I did use the subject line "Chromecast = $35, Apple TV = $85". I think that's an important distinction for people to see when considering the Chromecast app and hardware.
I did try to submit another review on 12/2 for the same app, with a different subjed line that had no prices in it, just a complaint that my last review was missing.

Aperture purchased in app store does not show in purchased list.

It shows as INSTALLED if looking at the app on it's individual page, but can't redownload it when it is not in the purchased list. How do I fix this?
It crashes on launch and I can't reinstall it. If I move the app to the trash, the indivual page shows the purchase price instead of INSTALLED. The other apps I have purchased show on the purchased page.

Well this is getting very intriguing now. Unfortunately I can't see your computer's screen to verify it's not something simple... ie just not seeing the item.
If what you say is true, then this may be something engineering may want to look at. Whatever the case, let's contact iTS and start some correspondance with an advior for now.

Non app store items not showing up in launchpad

Non-App store apps located in the Applications folder are not showing up in Launchpad (Example: Pixelmator).

There's more than one page to Launchpad. It seems that anything you install on your own will go to page 2 or later. You can easily move them to the first page by draggin them around.
