ITunes app won't open on ipad
When trying to open the iTunes app on my ipad, it quickly closes.
There are a couple of my other apps that are doing the same thing. The Pitfall and Jetpack app that my son plays also closes during the middle of it loading.
How do I fix this?
I just tried this and it did not work :/
I just got the latest update and I'm wondering if that is what is causing it??
I got a new movie on itunes on my desktop, and I was trying to get on itunes from my ipad to be able to load it on there.
Then noticed itunes as well as the other game apps that I mentioned wouldn't load.
Other apps seem to be working just fine and I've been able to download new apps from the app store.

Open iTunes.

I have a new Ipad 4 for three weeks. Yesterday I start having some problems with syncing my Ipad with ITunes (earlier all was without troubles):
- downloaded in ITunes on PC apps won't transfer to my Ipad - I press Apply and sync, it goes successfully, but apps won't appear on Ipad.
- I tried organizing icons on Ipad from PC, press Apply and sync, it all goes succesfully, but on Ipad icons won't rearrange. But ITunes shows that they are rearranged...
- also I tried syncing my books adding one new book, press sync all books, and new book won't appear. Only when I've chosen every book separately, they transfered.
I use USB for this.
I tried resetting my Ipad, reinstalling ITunes on PC, deauthorizing and authorizing my computer, but it didn't help.
Apple ID are the same on PC and Ipad.
I hope that I'm not the only one with this problem. And also forgive my mistakes if there are any - English is not my native language. Thank you!I know that it is time consuming and a bit of a pain in the butt to have to do it, but I would backup the iPad, restore to factory settings and then restore from the backup, and sync everything back to the device. It's going to take a while because you have a ton of music on the iPad, but IMO, that would be your best option now.
You could try unsyncing all of the music, and then resync it all again, but that takes time as well. If you are going to spend that much time trying to fix it, you may as well restore the device ...IMO once again.

Did you try downloading another app? Any free app will work. Try downloading another app and then see if the other apps will open.

Thank you for providing so much detail about the issue you are experiencing with the iTunes app after upgrading to iOS 7.
The first thing I recommend is quitting and relaunching the applications on your iPhone:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting and relaunching the iTunes app, I recommend restarting your phone and then resetting if it's still not working:
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

ITunes apps won't sync with iPad without deleting all the apps already on the iPad!
I've been using my iPad with iCloud sync for a while and now have decided to go back to iTunes sync. I have a bunch of apps i downloaded on the iPad from its app store and want to keep them. However, when i go to the Itunes app section (which is grayed out) and select the sync apps button, all the apps on my iPad in the preview screen disappear!!! How can i sync apps from my computer and keep the apps already on the iPad?
Ditto. Even the new 2.0.1 firmware made no difference. I've had no luck with iTunes in this dept at all. I can download apps to the phone, but they won't sync back to iTunes. If I download apps to iTunes, not only will they not transfer to the phone, but all the apps on the phone get wiped w/o warning.
I've tried the following per Apple suggestions, but to no avail:
- Reset iPhone (the home and lock button method)
- Remove (I manually deleted all content little by little)
- Reset Settings (done thru software, don't know how this differs from "reset iPhone" above)
- Restore - a Huge pain in the *** for nothing. Took forever and obviously I then had to manually put all my songs, ringtones, contacts and photos back on it.
What else is there left to try? -
Itunes app won't open on my imac
I have an imac with OS 10.7 I receive an error message when I try to open itunes. I also just got a new ipod touch and I get the same error message when I plug it to the computer. I guess the ipod trys to lauch itunes upon hook up. The message say " check with the deveoper to make sure itunes works with this version of Mac os X you may need to reinstall the application. be sure to install any updates for the application and Mac os X" I have reinstalled the app multiple times and checked for any updates to the OS. Any help would be great...... before I have a stroke!

My iTunes app won't open on my iPhone 5S.
When I click on it, it immediately shuts down. I've turned off the phone and back on. I've also synced with iTunes on my computer. Not sue what else to try.
I just found this answer posted back in September. Not sure why this glitch hasn't been fixed:
Try this fix as it worked for us... It must be a hidden glitch : open the music app and click "store" in the upper left hand corner. It opens the store and corrects the glitch. After that, the store app will function properly again. -
I have the latest IOS (5.1.1 (9B206)). Every time I try and open an App that is not part of IOS, it just flashes and nothing comes up on the screen. I can open Settings, Mail, etc that are part of IOS, but I cannot open anything I have downloaded from the App Store.
I tried to re-sync the apps with iTunes, but that did not work. I re-authorized my MacBook , and that did not work.
Any ideas other than to restore to the original settings ?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Try to force quit the app
Double tap the home button. When you see the app previews on the screen scroll sideways if needed to get the preview in question on the screen. Flick that preview up and off the screen to close the app. Single tap the home button or home screen preview to exit the mode.
