ITunes app won't open with the new iOS7 update...what do I do?

Tried opening itunes app, it comes up for a second then closes, not sure what to do...

Thank you for providing so much detail about the issue you are experiencing with the iTunes app after upgrading to iOS 7.
The first thing I recommend is quitting and relaunching the applications on your iPhone:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting and relaunching the iTunes app, I recommend restarting your phone and then resetting if it's still not working:
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Close all apps: Double click on the Home button, then swipe up on the mini screens displayed above each open app.
Reset your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Silver Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if your iTunes will open.

Double tap the Home button...slide the last used view of the app(above the icon) up. Tap Home button when finished.

Will iTunes 10.6.3 work with the new iOS7?

iTunes version 10.6.3 is the latest possible version of iTunes my that my computer will support (MacBook 2008 - MAC OS X version 10.5.8) and this version of iTunes worked for my iPhone 4S running iOS 6.1.3. You will not able to Syncronization your devices (iOS 7) to iTunes 10.x .
I have problem here right now with that. if you love iTunes 10 and iOS 6. Keep it better. iOS 7 interface like use for kinder garden only. Its horrible now. Now apple has changing everything since the genuine LEADER has one.

It says it cannot removed the older version of iTunes.
Doublechecking before proceeding ... what's the precise text of that message, please? (There's a couple of different ones I can think of that you might be getting.)
