I changed my apple ID username and password from previous account and now I cannot play music purchased under previous account username/password.
Please help.

Such codes are given away as promotion etc - no idea where to get such a promotional code in your country.
Ask someone to gift you a single song instead.

You've encountered iCloud Activation Lock. Contact you friend and have him follow the directions here:

Iphone, itune/apple ID account

If my iphone is on another persons wireless account, do I have to use their itune/apple ID account also. Every time I try and log on to itunes on the phone it will not allow me to access my account but, brings up the wireless account holders apple ID information. Any suggestion would be very helpful.

tap "settings / store" - here you can delete their Apple ID, which is what connects to their iTunes account, then enter in yours.

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

Itunes disabled my account help?

Whenever i try to purchase a song on itunes something pops up and says that my account has been disabled and gives me a website which doesn't help me at all. I have changed by password twice like it says to and nothing has changed can anyone help me?

Why was I charged just to set up an Itunes/Apple ID account? I didn't buy anything and nothing shows in purchases

I don't mind giving my card details when setting up an account, but I have been charged £1.98 GBP apparently for nothing. When I discovered this charge today, I went to the purchases log but there is nothing there.
IMO charging just for setting up an account is a scam of the first order. Shame on you Apple! Perhaps you are now going to charge me just for logging into Itunes. This does NOT encourage me to buy any of your products in the future

Surely it would become obvious if I tried to buy something if I had put incorrect details into the card info. It isn't necessary at all to take this 'test' purchase.
Now look at it like this. Apple grab a tiny amount off every new user every week. Do you suppose that money just sits in their bank accounts? No of course not, they will be using those additonal funds for investment to increase their fatcat company earnings while we have to accept what is basically lending them money with no interest.
Why should we have to go through the hassle of watching our card accounts and possibly having to go to their support for money that should never have been taken. I As I am in the UK, it counts as a foreign payment on my card and I have to pay an extra fee for that which Apple will doubtless not be returning, so I will be out of pocket.
There is nothing you can say to justify this and yes, I will be writing to Apple to complain, not to mention getting on to consumer organisations in the UK.

Merge .me and iTunes apple ID accounts. Has Apple got its act together enough to enable this yet in 2014?

Originally had iTunes account and purchased music from iTunes store for several years. Then started using .me mail and iCloud and had to get new account for some obscure reason. Wondered whether Apple has managed to sort this out so that the two accounts/IDs can be merged in a way that no data or purchased items are lost from either account. Seems to me that for a big company which purports to be so customer satisfaction conscious this would be a priority issue to fix. Of course maybe that reflects a degree of business naiveté on my behalf.

No, you still can't merge accounts, nor can you transfer content between accounts.

I have a frustration problem which needs to be solved, and I have had it for a while.
I restored my iPhone and now I can not sync it, I need to restore it from my backup. I really need it to work by tonight, because I need it for work tomorrow. So please help!

Upon latest reboot, I also received this error message: "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click OK to terminate the application."
Then I got the iTunesHelper not installed correctly error again.
Then the "Windows can't check for updates" error message.
Then "Apple Push has stopped working." Then a quick DEP error message that disappeared but said something about Apple Push being closed.
I'm also getting denials of service logged by McAffee. Not sure if I'm getting a virus/attack or not.
Not sure if it's a problem with my old desktop machine, my Windows Vista updates, or iTunes, but I'm very frustrated and out of ideas to try.

You cannot carry the money from one country account to another. But content you have downloaded to your device remains on the device, updating things like apps will require that you return to the country store where the download originated.
The stores operate as separate entities, but content you have does not leave or get deleted.

Help! Apple ID account in iTunes

Hi I have an Apple ID as you can probably guess since I have the option to post messages on this forum, but when I enter iTunes and want to log in to my account it tells me I need to review it, then it asks me to enter my credit card number but I don't want to. My friend created an Apple ID account and he told me that you can have it without entering the credit card number and just choose the option "None" in the payment page, but I don't have this option!
Please help I want to access my Apple ID account and download free things to my iPod.

Multiple Apple id account apps on one itunes help

My family uses one computers' itunes for buying apps. Everyone in my family has their own Apple id account. Everyones iPhone is also backed up and has transfered their apps to the computer. Everyone in my family plays the game Tiny Tower. And their iPhones are most used on this computer other than another computer.
I want to update my iPhone to ios 5 from ios 4. I have backed up and transfered all my bought apps from my iPhone. I don't want to lose my saved Tiny Tower game data. Would I be able to get Tiny Tower back onto my iPhone after I update my iPhone to ios 5 with the exact same game data that I had on it before I updated to ios 5? Or would I have to restart Tiny Tower from the beginning.

As long as the app itself is on the computer's iTunes and you make sure that the iPhone is backed up (right-click, or Control-click if on a Mac, the iOS device in iTunes under Devices and choose Back Up) before you start the update process, then your apps and and their content should be copied back to the iPhone by the update process.
Before you start the update you should also make sure that all purchases (films, tv shows, music as well as apps) have been copied over to the computer via File > Transfer Purchases, and you should copy off any important documents, files, notes etc (e.g. by email, the file sharing section at the bottom of the Apps tab in iTunes, wifi, whatever the apps that you use support) - the update process should backup and restore the content but it's best to be safe.
