Itunes are not showing all bars

When i connect my iphone 2g and open itunes 8.1 64-bit version and go to devises and to my iphone some bars are missing like the application bar. (i got only the summary, info, ringtones, music and podcasts bars). so i cant transfer to the iphone things like apps.

In an earlier thread you implied that you had only recently had the podcast accepted - is that correct? Only the episode of 13th February is showing, but there are a number of episodes dating back to December 9th - were these originally there or did you start with only one episode and add these backdated ones later? That would seem to be the most likely explanation, since the feed appears to be OK and all the episodes appear when subscribing.
The latest episode is dated three days ago, so it will probably appear in the Store in the next day or so, and I would have expected the other episodes to appear at the same time. There have been several complaints recently of the Store being slow to update, so it's just a question of waiting. If the latest episode appears but the earlier ones don't that will be a different matter (and difficult to explain).

My songs in itunes are not playing all the way through on my MAC

Quicktime Player should already be installed on the Mac. If you transferred Quicktime from a VAIO it will not run on a Mac -- no PC software will without using a special interface.
Right click or control+click on one of the files, then > Open with Quicktime Player.
I already suspect that since these files will  not play completely on any of your devices that you have an incomplete download.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not available in all countries; only apps, books (not audiobooks), music, and t.v. shows (not movies).  Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list, or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid.  Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can redownload your available previous purchases.

  • Songs I have purchased on iTunes are not showing up in my Purchased playlist but are in my iTunes library

This has only been happening since updating my iPhone 5 to the new IOS 7.0.2  software and it has duplicated a new purchased playlist on my iTunes library. I have tried syncing the iPhone to my computer but still no luck they are not showing up in my purchased playlist.
In saying that, some songs I purchase do show up in the playlist but others don't or only half of an album shows even though I have downloaded the whole thing. It is driving me crazy!! Has anyone else got this problem and what did they do to sort it?
    Thanks!

    Hi samfergs,
I'm not sure how the Purchased Playlist decides what to put into it, but if you want to see all of your purchased items, then you need to go to the iTunes Store, and on the right side, under Quick Links, click on Purchased.
Then, click on the Music (or whatever other purchased items tab you want to look at). If you are looking at Music, click on All Songs, and then on "All" or "Not on this Computer" (depending on what you want to see).
    Cheers,

  • Help - iTunes Windows not showing all music

I just discovered this - my iPhone has all my music and albums and artists are all correctly labeled and organized. my Win7 PC is all screwed up.
I'm not sure how/when this happened but at the moment about 700 songs are showing up in itunes without Artist, Album, or Genre info. In some cases, a few songs show up in the Album view and the rest are just missing. The only way I found them is by either viewing by Sony or doing a search. Most albums are still missing if I uncheck Group by Compilations.
All the songs are on my PC. I found them in 2 folders - iTune/iTunesMedia/Music seems to be what is displaying in iTunes. All of the ones missing info are in the Unknown Artist or Compilations folders.  They are in this folder and sub-grouped by Album and in Windows Explorer they still have the correct Album and Artist info showing. The weird thing is most of these are not compilations. I also have another folder /iTunes/Music that seems to have the correct folder structure but I don't think iTunes is using this folder.
I have tried several things. First i tried copying the songs/folders from either the 2nd database or from the Unknown Artist folder in the iTunes/iTunesMedia/Music folder. This did not change anything in iTunes.
I also tried deleting the iTunes library file and starting a new one. This also did not work but when it scans it brings up 2 copies of every song.
I tried manually importing a folder and selecting each album but this did not work, presumably since the songs are already in iTunes but not labelled correctly.
Is there a way to fix this? Remember my iPhone is fine and I do not want to have to manually update the info for each song/album to re-organize it.

any suggestions on how to resolve this?

  • New purchases in itunes are not showing up in the songs list only in new purchases

I have the latest version of Itunes and my last purchases do not show up in the songs view of my library, only in the purchased songlist. This has never happened before, so I'm guessing something is wrong with this new version. Anybody else having this problem?

I agree it seems to be a bug but to let apple know about it you need to use the feedback in itunes

  • Songs dropped into iTunes are not showing up in my library!

I know this question appears around the form with some variations but I thought I would put it out there again and see if we can get some answers already!
Since upgrading to iTunes 11, when I drop songs into iTunes they appear to copy but don't show up in my library.  They do however show up in the recently added playlist and in a library search.
Also, the files are not being copied into my library even though I have the "copy files into iTunes media folder..." box checked in preferences.
Could this have something to do with keeping my iTunes library on an external drive?  I've never had problems like this before...
C'mon Apple, there are enough people have similar problems!  This is driving me nuts!!

  • ITunes suddenly not showing all my content, even though the folder does

All of the sudden, iTunes stopped showing all of my content. I have over a hundred movies and several TV shows and all of the sudden, some of the newer stuff that I recently ripped or bought from the iTunes store is no longer showing up in iTunes.
It is still in my iTunes folder however and open and accessible if I click it in Finder. This however is not a good solution as I don't know what is missing from the list and how this ridiculous issue happened.
I am furious. I spend a lot of time adding to my iTunes library for my Apple TV and suddenly, and for no reason that I can discern, content is not showing up, no matter what I do.
I recently moved my iTunes library to a 2 TB Time Capsule and took it off my internal drive, but this worked fine. For a while iTunes kept losing the library, but it no longer asks for it. It points to the right place, plays the content it chooses to see from the right place, and ignore others even though it showed them before and still has them in the library.
I am beyond confused. Can anyone help?

Check on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings that you checked "Sync only checked songs and videos" and that you checked "Sync Music" on the Music tab.  Also confirm that your computer authorized for the Apple ID used to purchase this music (in Store>Authorize this computer).

  • Itunes does not "SHOW" all of my folders of photos, where are they?

some of my folders of photos are missing when itunes is open. I want to sync all my photos to ipad.

Go to menu Edit -> Show Browser, and see if this is what you are looking for.
Some of the genres are standard and cannot be deleted. That is why you have a bunch there when you have no songs when you first load iTunes.
Other Genres are added based on the songs you import.
I notice that on ocassion, when I import a new CD, sometimes the Genre will be similar to another one such as "Folk Rock" and "Folk-Rock". I just select all the songs in both Genres and edit the Genre so they are the same.

  • ITunes Match not showing all my songs or playlists

I've just upgraded to an iPhone 5, and successfully restored from an iCloud backup. All apps are downloaded and working ok. iOS is 6.1.3.
But, after turning on iTunes Match, I have no playlists and only a quarter of my songs (titles starting A - F) are appearing. Each time I open the Music app, the cloud icon and progress bar appear, as if it knows something is wrong, but it disappears after a minute or two and nothing's happened.
Songs that do appear download and play normally.
I've been through this process before without a hitch, so any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Meant to also say, I have also tried repeatedly turning iTunes Match on and off, and signing out of iTunes and signing back in, all to no avail.

  • My iTunes is not showing all my downloads why is that n how do I get the movies again that I purchased in the past., My iTunes is not showing all my downloads why is that n how do I get the movies again that I purchased in the past.

What should I do to download these movies that I can't find in my purchase tab

You checked "Videos" on the first iPad screen, under movies ?
If not did you check "Movies"on your computer?
iTunes, on your  PC (MAC?) should have all the purchases you transferred to it from the iPad there.
Just sync them back as needed (You did transfer purchases, right?).
If you just deleted the videos without thought, yes that was a mistake, iTunes over the last month or so may have saved them any way and later downloaded them to your PC when you opened iTunes; if so you got lucky.
I've found the "Cloud" implementation to be inconsistent so far and I have been surprised to find videos downloaded to both my PC and my iPad even when I didn't want them on both.

  • My imported CD albums are not showing in itunes

My music cds that were imported into iTunes are not showing in the music library

    Hi apeyton,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
The information below may be able to answer your questions about how to find the music you imported to your computer.  Is it possible that you have more than one iTunes library?  Can you perform a general search for the song on your PC?  The article below explains how to determine where the iTunes Music Library resides on your system and how to change the location if necessary.
Where are my iTunes files located?

I hope this information helps ....

  • Itunes match has removed my playlists from itunes and my iphone. Not only that, many of the songs 'matched' on itunes do not show up on my iphone. Seriously annoyed, wish I'd never paid for it

Please read the title; itunes match has removed my playlists on itunes and iphone and the songs that are supposedly 'matched' on itunes are not showing up on my iphone.
    Any Really annoyed about this

iTunes Match does not have the ability to remove local files.
The service operates by comparing the selected iTunes Library with the iTunes Store content and 'matching' or 'uploading' - it is very straightforward a 'match' provides equivalent access to iTunes Store content as a recognised 'purchase'; upload simply copies a 256k AAC variant into the cloud.  There are no elements of this activity that can erase the local library content.
Would suggest you explore possible alternative causes of file loss.  Given the pattern described of selective deletion, leaving many Songs intact - would suggest making at least 2 secure offline Song file backups and starting the library again from a fresh install of iTunes once a thorough sweep of the system has been completed for virus.  It is also worth assessing the physical security of the system - who has access & with what privileges.
To access Songs from the cloud, you would have to manually delete the Song from the library or open an empty library - so even when accessing content, iTunes Match provides no local deletion capability.

  • Events not showing all photos.

  • Why are keywords are not showing ....

Why are keywords are not showing, all other functions and metadata seem fine

LarryHN - Thanks for jerking me back to reality. I've been using iPhoto since 2001, I have over 14,000 images in the file, I use facial recognition, Places, folders, keywords and Events (did I leave anything out?).   I installed Lion a couple months ago, I'm running iPhoto '11, version 9.2.1 and I'm not getting any error messages. When I click on View, Keywords I expect to see little boxes under each image with one or more Keywords in it.  If I click on View, Info I can see the keywords in the sidebar but they never appear in the main window.
