ITunes Artwork Chang Arrow has gone?

I have back, front and CD covers for the majority of my iTunes playlists. WHY WHY WHY Apple has somebody decide to get rid of the arrow in the iTunes artwork window to change the artwork? WHY WHY WHY has somebody also decided that you can no longer highlight all the album tracks and drag multiple pieces of artwork onto the artwork window?
Like several aspects of Lion these are backward steps.Please show some respect to the massive amount of work that many of us have done on iTunes and leave things alone!

I can still add multiple art, but only via the Artwork tab in Get Info. and I have to use keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste as the context menus aren't there. (Weird, I tried again and the menus are there now.) Another change I've just noticed is that if you drop an image onto a track with two or more embedded images, the new image becomes the second, the first is preserved, and all others are removed.
My money would be on this being a set of related bugs rather than a deliberate feature change. I've submitted a bug report to that effect.

I have imported a Digital recording onto my Macbook Pro 10.6 and want to burn it to disc on Itunes but the file has gone to Quicktime. How do I transfer it?

I have imported a digital recording on to my MacBook Pro 10.6. I want to move it to Itunes so that I can burn a CD but although I have created a new playlist, Itunes won't accept the file and instead it has gone to Quicktime and I can't transfer it or burn a CD. I have installed a Flip4Mac Upgrade but still no luck. I have managed to transfer previous files and burn CDs before so am not sure what the problem is.

This file type is not supported by iTunes. I would recommend converting the file (I use convertfiles.com, but there are many choices) to MP3. It then can be added to iTunes.

Why won't my airport express work with the latest iTunes, the airport shows green but there is no icon in iTunes any longer, what has gone wrong, desperate!!

Airport Express used to work with iTunes v11 but now with v12 there is no sign of the little icon that used to appear over the volume button. The Airport is finding the network, nothing has changed bar the version of iTunes, what should I do??

A friend has helped me solve this problem, in my case it was nothing to do with Windows firewalls as some have suggested but it was simply a matter of resetting both the router and the Airport, the Airport is fairly obvious but not the router at least this was the first time I recall HAVING to reset it.

I'm using an iMac with itunes version 11.1.5 and I have been trying to sync my iPad to add photos but it keeps failing. However i have noticed that there doesnt seem to be a "photos" tab any longer on iTunes has this option been removed??

You can never totally remove anything that you have purchased from iTunes, the App Store, or iBooks. Your purchases will always be tied to your Apple ID. You can hide those songs by going to Settings>iTunes and App Store>Show all>Music>Off. You can do the same for videos.
But bear in mind, all that you are doing is hiding the purchases and they will not be downloaded to your device unless you go back to that settings, show the songs again and then tap the cloud to download them to the iPad.

TS1702 An audiobook I purchased on iTunes worked fine, but has gone completely silent, with 5 hours left.

Whenever I try to click on the movie to make it play it just does nothing like it's not there. I solved my problem. Here's how:
1. Right click iTunes and click properties from the "Windows 8 Desktop" (or if you want to call it the 7 desktop thats fine too)
2. Select the compatibility tab.
3. Set compatibility mode to Windows 7 and click apply.
4. Open iTunes, sign into iTunes store, Turn on iTunes Match, Add your computer.
5. Close Program
6. Restart Computer

Podcast Artwork disappeared and has been gone for over a week...

I have had a podcast (Dose of Leadership) that has been out for nine months. About a week ago my artwork disappeared and has not come back. I use Feedburner Smartcast to update my feed. I hadn't made any changes prior to the artwork going away. I have resubmitted a new piece of artwork with a new file name and it's 1400x1400. The podcast is getting updated with new episodes but the artwork is blank. The preview image in Feedburner Smartcas is good. Who can I contact at iTunes to look into this? I'm going crazy trying to figure this out.

Although it works fine in a browser I don't know whether the extra dot in the filename (V2.2) is advisable with the Store. It might not be a problem - the Store can be very slow at showing images and if you only updated this recently it may well be that it's just a question of waiting - but you could change the filename to avoid any possible problems and amend the feed accordingly, though it will still take quite some days to show.

Windows installed updates and now itunes has gone!

last night windows installed updates as it shut down and now when ive loaded up in the morning itunes has gone. ive tried repairing through add/remove programs, downloading a new version and removing the old version but each time it comes up with this message:
the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unvailable. click ok to try again or enter an alternative path to the folder containing installation package 'itunes.msi'.
does anyone know where to find this or an alternative way of sorting it out?

First sorry to hear that.
Not all is lost. This is what you do.
1) Goto itunes.com. Install iTunes. Open it. Sign in to itunes so it displays your email address in itunes.
After goto your itunes store in itunes. There is a purchased tab. Click on in. It should list everything you purchased, books, songs, apps. Press the cloud with the down arrow. That will start the download process to your computer. I know the movie part you must download one at a time or it will crash. I hope that helps.

Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. Note that in iTunes 11 an "empty" library may show your past purchases with links to stream or download them.
In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

Why is 50GB of music gone? All music should exist on the computer. Only a fool would rely on a single device which could easily be lost or stolen to store their content on.
