ITunes authorization with iPhone

The new Mavericks update (10.9.2) crashed my system so had to restore from Time Machine. Then when I had iTunes going and plugged in iPhone, I got a message that this iphone was not authorized for "copying" files from this computer so I would neet to Authorize. So I authorized just fine and the next window says "this computer is already authorized." But when that window is closed, the "not authorized" window comes back. Back and forth, nothing changes.
I tried:
1. Deauthorizing this computer then reautorizing
2. Turning off my iphone then restarting
3. Deleting the SC Info folder (according to the Apple Support web page)
None of this has worked.
Any suggestions?

OK, went to Preferences>Store, choose Automatic Downloads for Music and Apps, which weren't previously checked for some reason. Now when I go to My Account, it does indeed sow my computer as being associated, as does my iphone.
but when I plug in my iphone still get this message:

I bought a new song and it downloaded fine. I've had to upadte my billing information. Tried restarting iTunes 3 times during these changes.
So now it appears that both the Mac and the iPhone are "associated" with iTunes and this Mac is authorized. So now what?

Why won't iTunes sync with Iphone 4s after upgrade?

I recently upgraded to iTunes 10.7.0.21, now my iPhone 4s will not sync via iCloud or my computer. When I plug the phone in, it starts a sync session like normal but it will not complete the sync. I get an error message that says "iTunes could not sync information to the iPhone "Scotty's" because a connection could not be established to the iPhone. Yet, the phone shows up in iTunes.

I'm having the same issue. iTunes sees my iPhone 4 and I can access the contents via itunes, but the sync won't work - it starts to sync, then states, "waiting for sync to start," then after a few minutes ends up with an error, stating, "The iPhone "XXXX" could not be synced because the sync session failed to start." This happens whether I try to sync with iCloud or my computer.
I tried rebooting the iPhone, rerstarting the computer (Mac Pro with 10.8.1), switching out the cable - all to no effect.
I downloaded iOS 6, but I didn't want to install it until I can successfully perform a backup with my computer - just in canse iOS 6 install fails.
Any ideas or suggestions?

ITunes freezes with iPhone, when connected to network

iTunes started to freeze with latest version (9), when iPhone is connected.
I tryed everything from the Apple support page:

The last sentence on that page is "Disconnect your computer from the Internet"
iTunes is working well with iPhone, when network is disabled, but how I can fix it? What could be the problem?

Wierd problem in iTunes Match with iPhone 5

iPhone 5 with iOS6. I have a wierd problem. I have iTunes Match turned on. All of my songs show up when I tap Songs. All of my playlists appear when I tap on Playlists. Great. BUT, when I tap on Artists (my preferred view) it says No Music. What the heck?!? Works fine (great even) on my iPad.

I'm having the same problem. I can access my itunes match on iphone 5 via wifi, but when I'm using 3G/4G/LTE in get a error message stating my membership has expired. This only happens on the iphone 5. It didnt happen on my 4S and nor does it happen with my "New" ipad Verizon. I'm not getting kind of help via itunes express, which *****. I'm starting to realize the iphone 5 is a piece of junk.

"required folder cannot be found" error in iTunes 11 with iphone 5

I'm getting the "Attempting to copy to the disk "Macintosh HD" failed. The required folder cannot be found" error when I sync my iPhone with iTunes. I haven't split my iTunes media library or moved it to an external drive--everything's on the internal hard drive on my 2011 iMac, which is running 10.6.8 and iTunes 11.05. (I was also getting the error on iTunes 10.XX--thought the upgrade might help, but the error persists.) So does this mean my iPhone is NOT really backing up to my hard drive when I get this error? The Summary page for my phone in iTunes still updates the sync date and time each time I try to sync, so it looks as if the backup is actually occuring. How can I get this message to go away?

Try creating a new itunes library. Just move your music folder somewhere else for a while, and itunes should create a new one on launch. (Quit itunes before moving).
Now try downloading you music again. You shouldn't have to pay for this again. I had some problems downloading something I bought a while back, although I can't remember how I did it I was able to re-download the thing. Just search around, shouldn't be to hard to find.

Itunes sync with iphone 5 problem

It's making me crazy..
I am trying to sync my iphone 5 with itunes on Mac.
Tried everything.. My mac says syncing, then it says finished but no songs or no video is synced. Looking at the tree, I see the playlist but it's grey. (so not synced)
I had the same problem with my iPhone 4... The only thing I didn't do is setup the phone as a new phone.. (beacuse I want to keep my backup files)
Tried everything. uninstall, create new lib, wipe the phone..
Stupid thing is that my ipad 3 and mini are both synced correctly.
It can have something to do with itunes match. I did use it for a couple of days but it was horrible. Changed the setting back to local sync but it's doing nothing. Switching back to match doesn't help either. Deleted the lib on the phone, on itunes..
I am seeing more people with this problem. Anyone succeed in this?
Most likely it's a bug in either the firmware or itunes.. My expectation is in the iphone because my ipad's are synced correctly..

In addition, I just turned off syncing calendars, and now I'm "hanging" on syncing contacts. I think that the problem is with syncing, period, not limited to a particular data base.

Error when syncing iTunes 8 with iphone 3GS "Notes"

Have tried rebooting, checking/unchecking notes box, etc but I keep getting this error message. Everything else seems to sync fine.

I'm having the same problem. Just upgraded from the 3G to the new 3GS today and am getting the following error message: "iTunes could not sync notes to the iPhone 'iPhone' because the iPhone disconnected"

Changed cables
Tried bypassing the USB hub
Rebooted both my Mac as well as the iPhone
Notes worked fine with the new 3.0 upgrade on the 3G but can't get it to work for the new 3GS.

Why won't itunes sync with iphone the contacts and calendars? Items entered on Outlook are copied to iPhone, but item entered on iPhone are lost in the next sync. That is not a true sync.

I want items entered on my iPhone to sync with my Outlook. This is currently not happening. Items entered in Outlook get "copied" to the iphone, but items entered on my iphone while away from my PC do not get sync'd to my Outlook. Am I doing something wrong or is this just the way it is?

I had the same issue until I updated my apps through iTunes. I had over 100 updates, but none of them showed on my iPod. After they updated everything started syncing like it is supposed. Go to the apps library and check for updates. After everything syncs leave your iPhone/ipod/ipad connected if the spinning arrows at the top is still spinning. It means that things are still being added. If you go to settings > general > about, you will see it loading songs, videos, photos, etc. If you back out of "about" and then go back to it you will see the numbers for each one change.

I had this issue and couldn't figure out what it was for the life of me. I am running windows 7 and the latest version of itunes. I tried multiple reinstalls of itunes and restores of the ipod. I finally got it fixed by following this guide.

Which way does iTunes sync with iPhone

I have a playlist in iTunes that syncs with the same list on my iPhone. The playlist contains MP3s that are mostly talk radio. When playing an MP3 in iTunes, pausing it, then syncing with the iPhone, I can pickup at the pause spot on the iPhone. However, if I'm playing an MP3 on the iPhone from that same list, pause it, sync, iTunes seems to ignore this and starts from the beginning. Does the "Remember Playback" feature only work from iTunes -> iPhone for syncing?

TS4036 I cant access my Itune store from my PC. I have entered my ID but still can't access the store. I have tried removing it and re-installing it but to no avail. I can access the Itunes store with Iphone and Ipad but not my PC.

I can't access my itune store through my PC. I have tried removing and reinstalling Itunes,but to no avail. I also tried accessing trough I cloud on my pc but it say apple ID not correct but my Apple ID works on all my other devices such as Iphone 4s and Ipad 2. If I go to Icloud.com I can access my account but can't get to Itune store.

The apps I currently have are for the i phone and i pad but i would like to see this on this computer
On the Mac Air launch iTunes. Then connect either the iPad or iPhone.
Select the iPad or iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Then select Apps from the menu on the right.
If you don't see the apps listed there, from your iTunes menu bar (top of your screen), click Store > Authorize This Computer.
See if that makes a difference...

Using iTunes cloud with iPhone

I can purchase music on my iphone and play it on my mac and ipad. But if I purchase on my mac or ipad I can not access it on my iphone. Obviously I have missed something but can't figure it out. Can someone tell me how to make this happen. I did notice that the when I go into the setting and then into store I do not have the options I do with my Ipad.

Changing itunes authorizations for iphone

My daughter has iTunes on her PC. I also have it on my Mac. For years now, she's been accumulating songs but they were bought on my account and her iTunes uses one of my account's computer authorizations. But now that she's no longer a child, she's getting an iPhone. I assume she's going to need her own account to be able to sync the phone. But how will she be able to set it up to use her itunes if her itunes library of songs shares my account? I already have my own iphone that syncs to my Mac. So giving her the account isn't an option. Is there any way to convert her songs purchased before the higher rate unprotected versions were available so they will continue to play for her?

ITunes error with iPhone

Hello! I had activated my iPhone, and everything works great, except one thing. Whenever I connect my iPhone to my computer, I get an error message from iTunes saying:
We could not complete your iTunes Store request. A secure network connection could not be established. Make sure SSL 3.0 or TLS 1.0 is enabled in the Internet Options control panel, then try again.
When I get this message, I am unable to sync music or do anything with the phone. I only get a blank white screen with the word "iPhone" in the center in iTunes. I am already connected to my iTunes Store account, and I have both SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0 enabled. I am not sure what the problem is. If you guys could help me in ANY way that would be great!

Couple of things for you to try here.
Logout of itunes store, restart computer and log back into itunes store. If that does not work for you. Might want to review these articles.
