ITunes Blog Widgets?

I embeded the my iMix code on my blog (http://anneruthmann.blogspot.com/2007/02/happy-valentines-day.html) and I have to say that it wasn't as impressive as I think an Apple widget should be. I was hoping for something a little more snazzy, like just the album cover pictures, or audio previews of the songs right in the embeded object.
So my question is... is there an iTunes widget similar to the Amazon Library widget that can be placed in blogs - something like a favorites playlist that shows a clickable picture of the album? Something that can either be organized vertically for a side bar, or as a collage like the album cover previews we see for iMixes? I would love to encourage my blog readers to purchase the music I love - and I want it to look cool also! Anyone know of something like this out there??

When you make a page you have the option to add into the page an html snippet. Insert the snippet then go to the youtube video you want and then choose embed and snag the embed code and past it into the html snippet then save your page.
Here is my page I just did again to show you the results. It is a pretty simple page but it works.

Itunes dashboard widget

HI :
Can anybody tell me if you can select a playlist from the itunes Dashboard Widget, Mine doesn't seem to work, it plays songs, and can ship tracks fine, but I'm unable to pick a playlist.
Also if my itunes is closed the widget will spin back and forth like is should, when the info button is pressed but when Itunes is open, and I click the info button on the widget, it doesn't flip, it just shows the playlist page, there is no animation.
do I have a problem with my widget or is it buggy?

The iTunes dashboard widget has never worked correctly. It has had reproduceable crashes since 10.4.0's release, and in Leopard really the only thing it can do reliably is crash.
No, you can't select playlists from the playlist pulldown - it doesn't even respond to clicks, except when it decides that iTunes is not open (when it is, of course), in all irony.
With one major and 17 minor updates gone, it just seems that this widget isn't much of a priority . I will be reporting the crash for the 26th time (give or take) when 10.5.7 ships.

Having iTunes dashboard widget problems

I have had problems with my iTunes dashboard widget since I upgraded to Leopard from Tiger. The shuffle function does not work, and it doesn't read any of my playlists either. I have done an archive and restore and an erase and restore with no change. I have called Apple to see if they can help, but they told me to go to the nearest apple store or have it sent in for repair. I don't know what else to try... any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it's any consolation I have exactly the same problem. Accept the only things that work for me are the volume change and skip-track. Right royal pain in the arse. I had the problem in both 10.5.1 and 10.5.2. I'm running a Santa Rosa Macbook Pro 2.4 2GB with 10.5.2 installed.

Itunes Podcast Widget- not finding my podcast

I am trying to setup a Itunes Podcast Widget to add to my Wordpress site.
When I get to the step of add/edit podcasts and the popup window appears, the only choices that show say 'null' and the search doesn't find my podcast.
Any suggestions?

I was just wondering if Bebo supported the iTunes web widget and if not is there anyway to get it to work?

ITunes Web Widget

Can anyone tell me where I can find the iTunes Web Widget? From memory, Apple released it for download after iWeb 08 was released. The Widget showed what songs had been recently played in iTunes. I've been all over Apple.com and I can't find it, I'm certain it existed.

My iTunes Web Widgets

I'm using the HTML code for both my iTunes Purchases and my iTunes Favorites on my blog. The favorites widgets appears to be working just fine and updates whenever I make new purchases. But, the purchases widget is displaying really old information from almost a year ago. It does not update when I make new music or movie purchases but continually shows the same old information. I've tried disabling in iTunes and re-enabling and have erased and copied the HTML code back into my blog's side bar but to no avail. Both widgets were working fine prior to iTunes 9 upgrade. Since then the purchases widget is blotto. Anyone else experiencing this or have any suggestions? Cheers.

Unable to do Software update, access iTunes, use widgets on dash and upload

*_Here is the problem:_*
1. Unable to use Software Update. When I try I get: "+A networking error has occurred: timed out (-1001). Make sure you can connect to the Internet, then try again+" This is despite being connected to the internet and getting most things done.
2. Widgets which require data retrieval are not working. Notably weather and currency convertor.
3. iTunes cannot connect to the store. Tells me to check my network (which, if I do, I am told is fine, thanks)
4. Cannot view images (such as car rental vouchers) which are meant to display in email. In fact- the entire email disappeared before my eyes! But CAN, luckily, view on the server so I KNOW it is not just that the image is "spam" etc.
5. First thing on this list which made me wary- I cannot upload to YouTube, it times out ("unknown error" but timing out is mentioned) and this is using Firefox 3.8.3.
6. Safari will not load at all- it just keeps trying to load.
7. Displaying pages is slower than usual and downloading Onyx took ages and displayed no data regarding the file size or length of download time.
*_What I know:_*
1. I didn't update the last two times I was prompted because I was too busy to have it shut down on me and restart, etc.
2. I also had a go at trying to set up a web proxy and failed miserably. Though I actually changed the settings on another network to the one I am using I am so not network-literate that I fear that I have somehow done this to myself.

1. safe starts, restarts,
2. deleting the preferences pertaining to Software Update from the various locations,
3. repaired permissions and-
4. thought of (I cannot afford to lose the data and haven't the time to back up just now- as per usual, this comes at the WORST time as I am on standby to fly out of the country due to VERY heavy and sad family affairs and need access to the files on the computer even if I cannot fully use the internet- just too many people/GB Pounds riding on this) using Onyx to try to "fix" this.
I have read up on others getting similar issues but am not certain that everyone has ALL the symptoms I am seeing (and then they may not be busy trying all these things on the one day and may not KNOW it is affected as well!). And I have tried each and every cure offered to these people. No good.

When you are going to be connecting to different networks that require different settings--such as proxies--you must establish different Locations in your Network System Preferences. If you're going to be connecting at college, you may want to set up a location called "College" and set the proxy settings so you can use it there. Then, when you want to go online at school, go to System Preferences -> Network and change your location to College. Then when you get home, change your settings back to "Automatic" or whatever you've named your home location.
Your Mac doesn't differentiate between networks it's connected to in order to automatically apply different settings. It relies on you to do that through the Locations set-up.

Wiki/Blog Widgets

I am looking for templates and widgets that work with OS X Server Wiki and Blog pages. I figured out how to embed youtube videos into the pages but I need to upload pictures but the pictures show up full size and not small and with the ability to click the image to show it in a larger size if you desire. I am looking for things like you'd get with google blogger and iWeb Bloging and such. It seems like a well designed server with these services would have a well built setup for building very good high quality blogs and wiki pages. Some of the stuff I like but mostly it's pretty plain Jane.
Any ideas or am I just missing something here. I use blogger for now.
What I want is a way to present Keynote and iBooks on the web without having to resort to downloading or getting an iPad. I still have no need for an iPad nor do my Students. But having a way for them to look at text books like iBooks Author can build but not be restricted to the iPad but yet retain the functionality of the iBook would be perfect.

Widgets-- help me find the iTunes lyrics widget

hello, .. i used to have a great iTunes widget where when a song that was playing on my iMac from iTunes, and i was wondering about the lyrics as the song was playing, i could push the center button on the mouse and the widgets would come on the screen and the one widget i just loved was that i could see the lyrics of the song that was loaded as the song was playing. It was pretty cool but for some reason the widget wasn't loading songs being played anymore so i got rid of it. But i want it back again, ... or a better one... can anyone suggest a good iTunes widget in terms of lyrics? (...but i don't mean a lyrics search widget.....i also have looked at the available widgets in this regard and nothing seems to fit the bill.....)

OK wise guys... the person is asking for advice. I have been through several of these lyrics widgets and none of them are as good as "Sing that iTunes" which doesn't seem to be working anymore (I assume thats the same one the OP had). I was looking for a replacement and am stumped.. yes, even after a search on Google.
Does anyone have experience with a widget that automatically finds the songs and puts the lyrics automatically into iTunes?

Itunes Dashboard/widget Not working

I have searched and found a number of people stating the same problem but no solution has been offered or confirmed.
The Itunes widget stopped working it will no long display the current song playing and does not allow you to control the songs playing. If you click on the controls a window will come up saying the widget crash and would you like to re-start even though it is still running. This problem is not limited to apples own itunes widget other itunes widgets are doing the same thing.
I can only conclude this has something to do with itunes 7.1.1 or early because it use to work and not it does not. The only Itunes widget that still works is AlbumArt widget.

Itunes yahoo widget conflict

i upgraded to itunes 7.4 and have been having problems with it freezing after a couple of seconds. i have read other posts and deleted preference files and SC info file, which seemed to work. however on opening yahoo widgets itunes freezes again. i do have the bbc iplayer widget installed. could this be the problem? Cheers

Ok its not yahoo widgets. Deleting the preference files solves the problem, but i have to do this every time i start my computer!

ITunes Sharing Widget

Anyone could make a widget that shows the info of how many people that are connected to my iTunes sharing music? Or maybe there is already existed one that I haven't found?
