ITunes burned CD track info does not show in another mac.

iTunes burns a CD of imported LPs. Track info was entered with Audacity, saved as aiff and then imported into iTunes . The track info shows up in my car CD player but not another mac. Any suggestions?

Update: after trying 6 discs that failed, the next few worked fine. Both iTunes and Finder displayed the actual disk name and track names. However, going back to the previously failed disks did not change the outcome. They still failed. That worked for another 6 or so disks, then this morning I ran across another one that got looked up in iTunes, but not in Finder.

ITunes 11 wit Snow Leopard does not show play/ FF/ RW buttons

On my computer with Snow Leopard, I recently installed iTunes 11.
For some reason it does not show the play, fast forward or rewind buttons. It does not show the large apple display, and the usual maintosh traffic lights.
I tried re-downloading it and dragging the preference files from my home account. Its really frustrating any ideas guys?

Our two Macs also lack the "Show/Hide Status Bar" View menu item. This is a giant fail on Apple's part— I am being inundated with support calls about this. I have found a link to iTunes 10.7 and am advising all upset clients to dump iTunes 11 and download and re-install iTunes 10.7 until the issues are fixed.
Among other issues: iTunes 11 no longer automatically imports mp3 optical disks into its library as it did in iTunes 10.7.
Now, when we want to import mp3s from an optical disk, we have to do it manually:
1) insert optical disk
2) select File>Add to Library (or Command-O)
3) click on the optical disk in in the Devices sidebar of the dialog box that opens
4) select the tracks to install
5) click "Okay" or hit the Return key
5 steps to accomplish what once happened upon just inserting the disk!
If my clients are any indication, this is a pretty big deal. Apple would be well-advised to fix this fast.

ITunes 10.6.1 update does not show newly imported music in viewer but files are in iTunes media folder, how to correct?

Updated to iTunes 10.6.1.7 today from 10.5 on a Win 7 SP1 64-bit machine and attempted to add new music to the library by both drag-n-drop and import files; this new music does not show up in the library viewer but has been added to the iTunes media folder. My iTunes 10.5 version was working properly prior to the update. Any recommendations to correct this issue? Thanks!

Immediately after the install, Windows was rebooted. I also attempted multiple variations of closing and restarting iTunes and/or reboot Windows. iTunes was unresponsive to mp3 files being added. Since I was unable to see the added music files to the library, I did not try to add other files.
Out of frustration, I let iTunes run over night and to my surprise the added music appeared in the library viewer the following morning. I can now add new mp3 (and AAC also) music files to the library and it immediately appears in the viewer. How or why it now works is a total mystery.

PC file sharing over Airport Extreme does not show up on Mac

I have two PCs and a new Macbook Pro with a new Airport Extreme (AE) base station. All 3 computers can access the Internet through the wireless AE. Hooray! But file sharing that is turned 'on' on the PCs does not show up on the Mac. For that matter, neither PC sees the other PC's shared files, either.
Now here's the really weird part... When I network through an Ethernet router/hub and don't use the AE, then all 3 computers see all the shared files and directories. I suppose I have something configured incorrectly on the AE network, but I haven't a clue what. Can you help?

What to do once you know them, assuming the first 3 numbers are the same for the PCs and Mac... from the Mac, use Go>Connect to Server, then type in smb://, then the actual IP of a PC... let us know the results.

ITouch does not show up on Mac

got it yesterday. First time we hooked it up to mt mac book and it was fine. Today trying to hook it up to wife's desk top Mac and iTunes pops up but it does not "see" the Touch. What the heck is going on besides user error? Thanks in advance

Show item info does not show on all files

I need that "show item info" very much, because it shows, how many sec each of my video clips are. When I have a folder with many video clips in it, about 3/4 shows the item info (sec length of clip) but about 1/4 it does not.
It would help me a lot to see all. Would there be a way to fix that?

Before you do this insert your original dvd, then restart holding the c key until the grey apple logo screen appears. When it asks to select language do so. On the next screen select Disk utility from the tools/utilities menu. Select your HD and do a Repair Disk. If errors are indicated and repairs are shown as successful, rerun this until there are no errors indicated. Also do the Repair Permissions option while in this mode.
After all this restart and see whether all goes well.
This process will be a lot quicker than a reinstall if it solves the problems.

Itunes recognizes ipad but computer does not show it under MyComputer

when i plugged my old iphone into my computer, my computer would show it as another hard drive when i clicked My Computer. My new Ipad does not. I tunes recognizes it and it is accessable but still would like to access it via other programs. ie movie conversion, transfer photos, documents.
btw it was not recognizeable on two different computers

The iPad has no disk mod or camera roll so it is not accessible as a drive. You phone, if it had a camera had the photos taken available via them showing up in a disk drive.

CD-R burned w/ Disk Utility does not show on desktop

I've been burning file-backup CD-RW's in the Finder, but decided to try creating a multi-session CD-R in Disk Utility. I was thinking that I would still be able to access the contents of the CD like I can with CD-RW's, but now that I've burned the CD, it won't show up on the desktop! (Yes, that option is checked in Finder Prefs.) It shows up in Disk Utility, and I tried to create a disk image of the CD to save on the desktop, but the "Image From (Select a Device)" option was grayed out even when I had the disk selected.
The only thing I can think of is that perhaps the disk wasn't the right format? Is this the kind of behavior I'd see if that were the case? Any other ideas?
I still have the files I burned to the CD on my hard drive, so it's not like I'll be losing anything major if I can't get this to work, just wasting a CD. But I sure would like to know what the problem is!

System info does not show Ehp4

Hello ALL,
I have recently upgraded my Sanbox system from ECC6 to EHP4 SP03.
When i see the System Information in the Tab SYSTEM --> STATUS .
In the SAP SYSTEM Data for the Component vesion it still shows " SAP ECC 6.0".
I feel it should show "EHP4 for SAP Ecc 6.0.
Any idea why it is not showing EHP4?
Also, when i see the Component information we get to see many sub component of SAP HR and EA-HR.
Any idea why?

Font for photo info does not work on this MAC

We are running a new MAC (OS 10.6.2, 2.66 GHz Quad) with Lightroom 2.6. When I try to add photo data to a contact print, I see a series of boxes with AAAs. I got the same result with the Identy Plate when I changed the font. I changed to another font and it was fine. This leads me to believe the default font for photo info is not supported on this machine. We really need to use the photo info feature. Is there a way to either
1. Change the font to one that is supported on this machine
2. Add the default font to this machine

Considering the hundreds of thousands of Windows apps available, I doubt you're going to find such a list.
Is there a comprehensive list posted somewhere that show which PC software has compatibity issues?
Well since Windows software does not run on Mac OS, every application is going to have compatibility issues.
You'll either have to buy the Mac version (if available) of the software you want to use, or install Windows on the Mac.

I recently downloaded the latest version of Itunes. As soon as that was finalized, my Ipod stopped showing up on the screen when I was in Itunes and I can't sync new songs and audiobooks to it. Music I have downloaded through iTunes on my iPhone 5 does not show in my "music" app

Would anybody know what I can do? I've downloaded songs from iTunes on my iPhone 5, but hey are nowhere to be found.
I also have an iPhone 4 and he music settings on that phone seem to be he same and the same purchased songs ARE showing there and on my iPad too. Very strange. What could it be?!

The question that I want to ask can you try device on other computer? Best choise to isolate issue is with iPhone or computer/os.
