Itunes can not connect with the Itunes store

Every time I try to connect to the ITunes Store an error pops up :  Itunes can not connect with the Itunes store.  I have downloaded the updated software and have access to the internet.  Anyone ever run into this problem?

If it still has problems after trying the steps above, try resetting Winsock. It looks like it worked for a few people in this thread -> With iTunes 10.4 I can access iTunes store.
MTG68 wrote - In windows 7, click on your start menu, go to accessories, right click on the command prompt icon and choose "run as administrator".  Once it opens, type in the following command...
netsh winsock reset
hit enter and it should say something like winsock reset successful now reboot your computer.

How to De-authorize an older PC running Windows 2000 PC with iTunes 7?  My itunes will not connect with the iTunes store to all the deauth request.

The "Deauthorize All" command is only available if iTunes thinks you are currently using 5 authorizations.
Otherwise, you can only deauthorize the old computer by using "Deauthorize this computer" from the computer itself.
If the old computer is no longer operable, you can't deauthorize it, but that is not a problem.

I've been having this problem for weeks and have found no solution to it. There are lots of other people with this issue too if you look back on the boards. I even e-mailed AND called Apple and have had no luck. I tried all the suggestions they gave me and all the ones I found on here- nothing worked. I even uninstalled and re-installed iTunes (boy was that a pain!) and no difference.
The weird part is that I have an old laptop that works and if I buy music with the laptop I can download it with my regular computer buy buying does not work on my regular computer. That tells me it's not a connection issue. I can't get to my account either.
I can't figure out why an issue that has kept so many people from purchasing a product has been ignored!

i can't connect to itunes store the alert error says "itunes could not connect to the itunes store. An unknown error occurred (0x80092013)"

    Hi all,
I have the same problem with my Windows 8.1 laptop and my guess is that since I changed my Internet Provider who now delivers IPv6 addresses the problem occurs. A frieend who has a different provider does not have the problem in his home, but when he tries using iTunes at my home with my network he gets the same problem.
I have already solved a previous problem with Outlook 2003 not being able to receive emails from my wifes GMail account although everything else worked fine. The solution here was to enter the IPv4 address of Google POP-Server in the hosts file, overriding the IPv6 address.
Maybe something similar helps with this iTunes error.
If someone knows the hostname of the iTunes Store server, it could be pinged and the IPv4 address could be determined and then entered in the HOSTS file.
I'll continue trying in this direction and will post a solution if I find one.
If someone has the iTunes server name or IPv4 address, please post it.

  • HT4623 My computer says that iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store.  My internet connection is fine.  How can I remedy this?

My iphone 4 has "died" - looks completely black, won't seem to recharge, can't turn it on or off.  It does hum when I change from silent to non-silent.  I have been able to back it up, and download any photos off it.
Before it died it ran out of battery really fast - which is not like it, but I've had it on the recharger now for over 10 hours.  No go.
Before I take it to the genius bar I want to update to the latest software.  7.0.4 is recommended in iTunes.
But when I try to update it iTunes says "Itunes could not connect to the iTunes Store"
After reading some information about updating to IOS 7.0.4 I might be better to wait till the genius bar?  Athough they might send me home again with no phone which I don't appreciate!

Thanks ckuan, that has at least got it opening and "looking likely".  I had tried that, but perhaps not holding those two buttons for long enough...
It says no SIM card and is very slow.  Have reinserted sim a few times and now registering sim.  The screen where you have to enter your password to unlock the sim was 'patchy', not clearly showing.  (e.g. the circles around the numbers seem to be coloured, not the usual plain white circles around the numbers/letters).  Never seen that before.
Battery showing as full.  I'll now and upgrade my software
Thanks very much for your help

  • Can not connect to the itunes music store

yea, I can't connect to the iTunes music store. a message pops up saying, "iTunes could not connect to the music store. The network connection was refused" then it goes on to say that "Make sure your network settings or correct and your network connection is active, then try again." well this started happening on and off before 6.0.3 came out, then when I upgraded to 6.0.3 it would always do it, not letting me access the store. I have deleted iTunes and reinstalled it, reset my modem and router, restarted my computer. And the internet connection works fine, because I am typing this on the computer I am having the problem with, and I can connect to services like aim. also, i have another comuter on my network, and it connects to the music store just fine. please help, thanks!

I'm from the USA but am on vacation in Brazil; I have a great WiFi connection but can not connect to the iTunes Store. Is this because I am out of the Country?

  • My itunes on a windows 7 pc with dsl connection will not connect with the itunes store

my itunes on a windows 7 pc with dsl connection will not connect with the itunes store.  Any suggestions about why not or how to get it to connect?

After reading the whole post, I still don't capture the exact error message or code from it when you failed to install Office 2013.
The only clue is that "bootstrap loader error" ...
It seems that you want to upgrade Office 2007 to new Office 2013, by default, we could complete the uninstall previous Office version and install the new Office in the installation wizard.
At this point, if you get the install source through CD or other media. I recommand that we copy/paste the installation to local drive. Then turn off all of anti-virus and firewall, begin to setup in
    Windows clean boot mode.
Please use a setup log to troubleshoot setup problems in Office if the installation problem still occurs.
