ITunes can't start because MediaToolbox.dll is missing
I tried to completly remove iTunes and reinstall it again but I just get these annoying errors. How do I fix this?
Never mind, I fixed the issue using this: Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 - Apple Support
No music was lost either so it's all good.

Itunes can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. I've tried reinstalling but problem continues. May anyone knows how to fix it?
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

after installing itunes update on windows 7 pc, get error message that program can't start because mcvcr80.dll is missing. How do I fix this?
Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?

Itunes can't start because gnsdk_manager.dll is missing
I had the automatic update dialog box yesterday for iTunes and iCloud. I did the update for iTunes and now iTunes won't open because it says the GNSDK_MANAGER.DLL is missing. Anyone else have this issue? Additionally, iCloud for Windows hasn't ever been able to update for some strange reason. I am going to delete all the Apple stuff and re-install iTunes, but I am getting sick and tired of having to do this every time Apple comes out with an iTunes update. Can Apple please get it right? This wasn't a problem until a year or two ago. "If it ain't broken, why fix it?"
USING WINDOWS 7See Re: missing gnsdk_manager.dll error after 12.1 install. You may need to repair a component, or simply regenerate your taskbar shortcut to iTunes.

iTunes was working fine until I got the message to update it. After the update won't function anymore (and Apple makes it impossible to get support on this).
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features(Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (If this won't uninstall press on)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

Itunes does not start because msvcr80.dll is missing
Having an issue since the new itunes updated to 11.1.4.62 on Windows 7x64. After the update to 11.1.4.62, Itunes can not start because mscvr80.dll is missing.
I have reinstaleed, uninstalled, reinatelled, same issue each time.
When I search for mscvr80.dll, my computer has numerous locations for this. I search on another PC win 7x64, with itunes, and the same search does not show msvcr80.dll associated at all with itunes.
Any ideas ?turingtest2 post 01/2014: MSVCR80.dll missing, cannot install iTunes - https://discussions.apple.com/message/24618776

I was told to update iTunes. I did and it failed. Then every time I tried to open iTunes I get the following message: "The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Then I get the following: "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (windows error 126)." I have uninstalled and installed iTunes a couple of times with no luck. I cannot even access iTunes support

When installing itunes get error "program can't start because msvcr80.dll is missing
I cancelled the installation of the latest version of iTunes on my Windows PC and when attempting to reinstall it, I now get a message that "The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem." Reinstalling the program does not fix the problem. Repairing the installation does not fix the problem. A search shows the "missing" file does exist in the MSOCache directory.

When opening iTunes on my new Windows 7 PC I continue to get the same messages, 'The program can't start because AVFoundationCF.dll is missing' and 'iTunes was not installed correctly. Error 7 (Windows error 126)' I've uninstalled and reinstalled many times to no avail, even tried it on a different user account and still nothing. I recently installed Panda Internet Security 2012 (about 12 days ago), initially iTunes worked fine as usual but within the last few days I've been unable to open it with the same messages appearing. I've read through some of these pages and tried everything that's been advised, uninstalling and reinstalling while internet and laptop security is swithched off, downloading tools to completely remove anything related to iTunes, tried it in Safe Mode, nothing has worked. I've also noticed that in the start menu when I click on iTunes, it says '(empty)' where it should have the logo and ability to start the program, does this mean it doesn't download + install properly each time I've tried? Any help would be enormously appreciated.
Doublechecking. Have you also tried the following user tip?
Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates -
The first error message is: itunes.exe-System Error: the program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.
The second error message says: itunes: itunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall itunes Error 7 (Windows error 126)
I have reinstalled several times and the same thing keeps happening. Does anyone know what to do?Ralph, both links you've posted point to the same place!
Ah, I see the second one is meant to lead to Tony's tip: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-6571
That one applies for certain launch errors that can occur when iTunes has otherwise installed successfully. I've addressed the same issue in the first box of my tip.
What would be interesting to know is if Aswim does indeed have QTMovieWin.dll in their Program Files\iTunes folder, and if removing it allows iTunes to launch? It would seem that different error messages may be thrown up by different versions of the file on different versions of the OS. Perhaps many more people have been doing a complete rebuild than needed to.
