ITunes cannot read iPod touch content, tried restoring it to factory settings n it doesn't work, tried repairing iTunes n it says it works, tried my other iPods n they connect without a problem, any suggestions? I'm frustrated beyond imagination.....
I tried almos everything and it seems to not be working for me. I dnot mind resetting iPod I purchased a few things since last sync hope I don't loose them.
What happens when you try to restore the iPod via iTunes? Error messages?
Have you tried placing in V and then restoring?
Have you tried placing in DFU mode and then restoring?

Becasue something got corrupted on the iPod. It happens sometimes. Just restore the iPod to factory settings/new iPod and then try restoring from your backup.

I just got this iPod today and my last iPod touch broke back in november, so I have no clue what the passcode could be. I tried resetting it to factory settings but an error window pops up and and says that it can not be synced even though it got to the part where it says "Connect to iTunes" but then it shuts down. I don't know what to do, I live no where near an apple store and I don't have the money to fix it. Plus it has a cracked screen if that tells you anything.
Make sure you have the Latest Version of iTunes (v11.1.5) Installed on your computer

Perhaps a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is required..

That error message may be indicative of the Device being Hacked / jailbroken.... If this is the case then you are on your own. -

i think its the assistive touch bc i got that when my home button broke and my lock button is also broken and now it wont let me slid the unlock button, and i shut it down then turned it back on so it automatically showed the keypad and it would only let me press 3 and thats it. i also read a few other topics about it not unlocking and they all used the assistive touch.

Can't restore system to factory settings

My Lenovo 3000 v100 just crashed. I was able to save the data using the rescue and recovery software, but now I cannot boot windows. I tried to reset it to factory settings, but it doesn't work. The program freezes right after it displays the message "Preparing your hard drive, please wait…” I left it for hours and it shows 0% progress. If I restart the computer, it goes straight into "Rescue and Recovery" (I can’t get it to boot normally). I tried to install windows XP from a cd, but I get the message that “no hard disk was found on this computer”.
I bought a different hard disk. I should receive it in a few days. But can I make this one work? I need the computer tomorrow. I can access the data on it, so the disk is not completely damaged. Any thoughts?
Thanks.I have the same problem. I can access my files in Rescue and Recovery but I cannot rescue some of the files i desperately need onto an external media as RnR wont even detect any external media. I cant get my computer to boot normally..its stuck in the vicious cycle of cntrl+alt+delete.

Hi, I reecntly purchased a Mac and the Pages App. But now I find that I cant open a document I have been working on. It has previously been saved without a problem now all I get is a box stating that the file cannot be opened. It is visible in both the Pages Windows and under Recent Items but just will not open. Any suggestions please?

Maybe the document is corrupted. Can you open other Pages documents? Preview may open it. Right click (or control click) on the document in Finder and Open With > Preview.
If that works, Edit > Select All, Edit > Copy. Then paste into a blank Pages document. Formatting may be messed up, but you will have editable text. Then Save (with a different name), close and see if you can open the new document.

I received an iPad for Christmas that was ex-display, however I am unable to restore it to factory settings using the iTunes restore......any suggestions??
If it's a store's demo model then as far as I know only Apple can potentially change it's iOS version to a non-demo version - you've tried Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content And Settings directly on the iPad ?

iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212 - entering wrong codes results in progressively longer lockout times until device must be restored completely.
Options for when an iOS device gets locked because of forgotten passcode:

Everytime iTunes opens on my Windows 7 pc, I get the error message -42110 while it appears iTunes is trying to download a movie I didn't order. Any suggestions?

Connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore via iTunes. If iTunes asks for the passcode and you can't enter the passcode or if you do not have the syncing computer, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore. For recovery mode:
