ITunes cannot see or sync my Outlook calendars.

Hi all, iTunes seems to have lost the ability to see my current Outlook calendars and sync them to my iPhone 3G.  I am running Windows XP SP3, Outlook 2003, and I've done all iTunes / iPhone / Windows Update / Outlook updates and patches that I could find.  The problem happened about 2-3 weeks ago, and may have co-incided with an iTunes patch, I can't remember.
I've attempted to have the iPhone sync different calendars, used the "Replace all calendar info on next sync" toggle button, and reset the sync history with no luck.
All other syncing items through iTunes / Outlook / iPhone are still fine, including syncing Outlook notes and contacts.
The strange part is that iTunes is no longer seeing when Outlook calendars are created or deleted.  iTunes still sees an old Outlook calendar I deleted after the problem started happening, and does not see any new calendars I've made since the problem.  It only seems to see a "snapshot" of what was there right when the problem occurred.  Stranger still, when I tell the iPhone (with all calendar data removed) to sync with one of the old calendars that iTunes sees but isn't there anymore, the iPhone correctly syncs up the old calendar as if it were still there.  I.E. I'm getting a suspicion that iTunes has a cached copy of my old deleted Outlook calendars somewhere that it is pulling this old info from.  Weird huh?
Anyways, I've dug through the old discussions and it sounds like this is an old problem that never found an answer.  But if you have any advice please let me know, I'm all ears!
Thanks,
Scott

  • ITunes v7 no longer syncs with Outlook Calendar

I just updated iTunes from version 6 to version 7. BIG MISTAKE. I can no longer sync my outlook calendar. It does now sync Outlook contacts which did not work with the old version, but now calendar no longer syncs but it did in the old version. My calendar is extremely important and this has really upset me. I am now looking for a way to fix the problem or revert to the older version of iTunes.

I have the same problem. Both my Outlook contacts and calendar would sync with the previous version of iTunes, but after upgrading to v7, the calendars disappeared! I find this very upsetting, as well. There seems to be no support for this on Apple's page. Exporting each appointment individually is not a practical option when your calendar is full. I hope this problem is fixed as soon as possible.

  • ITunes 11 is not syncing my Outlook 2007 calendar on my iPhone 5 on a Windows 7 PC

ITunes 11 is not syncing my Outlook 2007 calendar on my iPhone 5 on a Windows 7 PC.
I have tried a number of things such as:
Repairing the outlook.pst file with scan pst.exe. This did not work.
Uninstalling all apple software on the PC and then reinstalling it. This did not work.
Turning addins off and on in outlook. This did not work.
Changing outlook.pst files. This did not work.
Replacing iPhone content with content on PCM. This did not work.
Restoring the iPhone does not work.
    Nothing works.
I have been working on this issue for a couple of days. It is driving me crazy. I am inches from formatting my hard drive.
Everything worked fine until the most recent iTunes update.

Same here. Spent about an hour trying various solutions to similar problems on other forums before discovering this one, which matches my symptoms exactly. iPad doesn't have this issue, only iPhone 4S.
My iTunes Match renews in two days. This is about the umpteenth disappointment with the service. I almost certainly won't be renewing now.

  • Itune sync with outlook calendar

everytime itune sync with outlook calendar,
a calendar folder under Outlook calendar is created.
iphone only sync with the newly created blank folder
    therefore, nothing.

    Answer Jbieber16:
Normally, when I sync my HTC (Pocket PC) with my notebook, I just plug USB cord to HTC (micro USB head) and notebook (regular USB head).  Microsoft Mobile Device Center will automatically start and then sync data between HTC and notebook (sync Microsoft Outlook data, musics, photo, and Microsoft Office files in designated folder).
When sync completed, Microsoft Outlook's contacts, calendar, notes, emails as well as musics, photo, and Microsoft Office files in HTC and Notebook will be identical and updated.
Without USB cord, it can be synced via Bluetooth (cordless).
Note: I posted this question because some of my friends using iPhone told me that "data of Microsoft Outlook will partially sync to iPhone via iTune, not all data".  So I check before sync Microsoft Outlook data with my new iPad2.

Dear iTunes / Apple, This must be solved within iTunes, I believe.

  • How can I sync my iphone to my home computer (to sync with itunes music) AND my work computer (to sync with Outlook calendar)?

How can I sync my iphone to my home computer (to sync with itunes music) AND my work computer (to sync with Outlook calendar)?

Sorry iphones are meant to be sync to one iTunes media library.
You could copy your music and put it on your work computer and then sync it.
If you try to sync to one and then sync to other its going to wipe the phone and remove the old sync with the new sync.

Cannot sync my outlook calendar with my iPhone 6 plus.  When I add my email for Verizon, calendar was not an option.  This was working with my 4S iPhone.  Also around the time I switched for iPhone 4 to 6 the operating system was updated to 8.

Then ask Verizon what the issue is and why there is no option for calendar.

  • I can hardly believe my old school Palm Pre was much friendlier than the IPhone.  I have had it for more than six months and still cannot sync my Outlook calendars and contacts.  I get a message like, "no calendar application  identified."    help!

My old school palm pre was much friendlier than the IPHONE 3G.  I was able to sync my outlook calendars and contacts via wi-fi effortlessly.  I tunes did sync once or twice in the six months that I have had it, but more often it acts like it is syncing and ultimately delivers a message like "no calendar application is supported".  Why the back and forth.  Very frustrating after literally hours of trying to sync my phone with my Outlook calendar and contacts.  HELP!!!!

What version of MS Office do you have installed? Have you tried re-installing office over top of itself? It may not be properly registered with the OS.

  • Trying To Sync my Outlook Calendar to my BB Tour

    BB Tour (Verizon)
    Device Manager 5.0
    Outlook 2007
Windows vista ( if that matters)
Ok so I have read through some other post to see if I could fix my problem, but yet to resolve it.  I have the new BB Tour, my first BB.  I am trying to sync my outlook Calendar with my BB Calendar.  I have already synced my address book with no problems but it want sync my Calendars.
Here is what I done so far:
    1.       Plugged my BB to my Computer.
    2.       Opened Dm.
    3.       Clicked Sync
    4.       On the left tab I clicked Configure>Sync
    5.       Then Sync  to setup programs to sync
    6.       Device Application screen came up
    7.       Clicked  on Calendar>Microsoft Outlook>Two way Sync>Transfer only future>Finish>ok
    8.       Went back to the Sync menu>then synced, the only thing that synced is my Address book.
I deleted my Facebook CICAL from service books, so no more FB calendar.  I didn’t see an Outlook CICAL in my service book.  What does it look like?  I went to my Carriers Email setup sight and sent Service books back to my phone and still no Outlook CICAL that I know of.  I went to my Calendar Options on my BB and under Calendar there is only a CICAL for my email, FB is gone thank god. Haha!  But still no Outlook should there be an outlook CICAL under Calendar in the options? I set up an event in outlook and on my BB so I could see if the sync was done.
     What gives?
    Did I miss something?
    Thanks in advance!
    Lee

    there is no outlook cical
you can keep the facebook cical, wont cause a problem unless it gets stuck as device default
the cical you are going to be wanting to use is any one of your emails... but only 1
    first:
open your BB calendar, click menu and options
under the bolded calendars, what to you see? and click on each one and give me the number of entries
    example:
    device default: 43
    email1: 45
    email2: 0
    facebook: 23
next go to homescreen, options(wrench), advanced options, default services
    what is set for CICAL?
in outlook, left side under My Calendars, what are the names of all the calendars and which one(s) are check marked?

When syncing Contacts or Calendars between an iPhone, iPad, or an iPod touch and Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, or Outlook 2010, changes that you synced to your computer may not appear in Outlook even after the sync has been completed.Try this article to see if it works for you

  • Wireless Sync my Outlook Calendar

I ended up updating my Blackberry Bold last night and it changed a lot of the features on my phone, I honestly love the new look and I am happy I upgraded the device however now I cannot sync my outlook calendar no matter what I try to do and it tells me I need to turn off the wireless sync and gives me directions to do so however none of those options are availible anymore...
Does anyone know how I can sync my Outlook Calendar Wirelessly? Or better yet any info on how I can turn it off so I can sync my calendar the regular way with the usb?

Hi StewartJoseph and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
This sounds like you have to change your default Calendar option in your BlackBerry.  You can do so, in BlackBerry 6, under Options>Device>Advanced System Settings>Default Services.  You may have one of your email accounts set to the default, which likely has wireless synchronization enabled.  Change the default calendar to another option then try synchronizing with Outlook again.
On your second question, no, the BlackBerry cannot synchronize wirelessly with Microsoft Outlook unless you are configured on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES).
    I hope this helps!

  • What is the procedure in order to sync your Outlook  Calendar wuth Itouch?

I cant sync my calendar. It doesnt appear in Itunes at all!

It should be available under the "info" tab in itunes under the device section, when your ipod is attached.
You should then see the sync to contacts/calendar options
