ITunes cant make a first purchase without going to "review account"
everytime I go to order I am asked to review my account which then asks me for my credit card and information all over again, again, and again
We are itunes users just like you.
We can do nothing.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

When you make an In App Purchase, the iTunes Store should use any gift balance or account credit first. You may still be asked to verify the payment information on your account before completing the purchase.

Hello, I had the same problem (repeatedly) until I did this, it works!
Remove sim, very very lightly rub the sim card's contacts (the metallic parts) with a standard pencil eraser. I suspect its just a micro-residue from the manufacturing process interfering with complete contact. -

You will need to login on the device using the same exact Apple ID that was used to download the app. You can not use abother account login to buy in app purchases to prevent fraud.
If you keep getting this warning, you are not logged into the original account. -

I cant get my new purchases to a playlist, I followed the help link and I get a blank page in my playlist. Also, how can I transfer music to a mp3 player?

Then drag the song from your library to the playlist.

It depends. Movies in the cloud was introduced but is currently US only and on certain titles. You could also use home-sharing.

I just upgraded to the latest itunes -cant make AIFF's
Hi, evidently, I mistakenly upgraded to the latest version of itunes. On version 10, I had "convert to AIFF' under the "Advanced" drop down menu. That doesn't seem to be available on the new itunes. Is there something I'm missing? Did they discontinue that feature? If so, how do I revert to the itunes 10? Also, if they are going to drop features in the future, how can I know NOT to download the latest software versions (short of reading all that mumbo jumbo?)
Thanks Jim, but when I selected "Preferences" under the I-Tunes tab, , then under "general",then "import settings", it says, "import using:" WAV encoder, MP3 Encoder, Apple lossless encoder etc, and AIFF encoder
The box below that, "Setting", is set to automatic.
I click OK.
But I-tunes still does not give me an "advanced" tab along the top of the page. On i-tunes 10, the top bar says I-Tunes, Edit, View, Controls, Store, Advanced, Window and Help. But I-Tunes 11.01 has all of those choices EXCEPT "advanced". -
I have no idea what this means or what to do..?

Cant make in app purchase in any of my apps
Anyony having problems with making an in app purchase on there iPhone 4s. It's going on for a week now.
Before you do that check to see if you can make app purchases from both the phone and iTunes on your computer ("buy" a free app, which still requires an active account). You didn't say that you could make other iTunes purchases, so perhaps you can't.

I am english & live in France. My account & Billing Address are both registered in France. I wish to purchase Books in English. However whenever I access the UK iTunes website to make a purchase I am automatically diverted to the French web site. The selection of books in English on that site is very limited. Can I set up a separate account to make purchases of English books in addition to my existing account?
You can only buy content from your own country's iTunes store - to be able to buy from, for example, the UK store you will need to be here in the UK and have a UK billing address on your account.
If there are particular ibooks that you would like to be able to buy then you can try requesting that they be added to the French store, but unless the publisher's agree to it then Apple won't be able to sell them there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
Do you have access to other ebook apps/stores in the French store e.g. Kindle app for Amazon, Nook, Kobo - you might be able to get English-language versions of ebooks from them. -
