ITunes card apparently already redeemed??

I have been given an iTunes music card as a gift and want to redeem it and buy some songs, but when I enter the code thats on the back of the card iTunes says this card has already been redeemed.
Does that mean someone else has already used all of the credit on my music card??

This issue can sometimes happen when you leave a field blank on the order form. Also, make sure that you're logged in to the Adobe store in the same country as your you credit card mailing address. (You can check by clicking Change Location in the lower-left corner of the adobe.com website.)

What exactly are you trying to do and what happens when you do it ?
If the card has been redeemed then its remaining amount should be on your account, the card itself is now effectively zero - you can't redeem a card twice. If you still have a balance on your account, you are buying for yourself (you can't use a balance for gifting) and it covers the price of the purchase (if you are in the US then you have to add on your state's sales tax to an item's listed price) then you should be able to buy items with it without needing further payment details.

Most of the people on these forums, including myself, are fellow users - you're not talking to iTunes Support here. I've asked the hosts to change the title of your post as it appears to include the card number.
You've tried logging out and back into your account to see if the amount from it has been added to your account ? If it isn't then was the card complete when you bought it i.e. the part that you scratch off to uncover the code was still on the card ? Where did you purchase it? Sometimes if you use a typo you may pull up another card.
iTS can see who redeemed it, but they may not give you details. Did you purchas this second hand or what?

Is the store that you bought the card from nearby so that you can try going back and asking if they can activate the card properly ? ITunes Gift Card - Shows Already Redeemed

$100 Gift card from I-tunes. We entered the information but it shows that is was already redeemed. We just scratched off the code area. Are we out $100? What can we do since nobody has responded to my e-mail. Any ideas?

I am having problems too. I tried calling the Itunes support desk and they are not very helpful. Have you heard anything from them or did you get a new code from them?
