ITunes card balance not changing when I purchase something

If you have an iTunes card on your passbook but also have a debit card on your device, does all purchases go to the iTunes card and not the debit card automatically?

Which payment methods will be used first?
When you make a purchase, content credits are used first, followed by Gift Certificate, iTunes Card, or Allowance Account credits. Your credit card or PayPal account is then charged for any remaining balance.
When you buy individual songs from the iTunes Store:
Free song credits are redeemed first.
If you have no free song credits, then your gift certificate, prepaid card, and allowance credits are used next.
If your gift certificate, prepaid card, or allowance credit is less than the total cost of the purchase, your credit card is billed for the remaining balance.
If you have no free song credits or gift certificates, prepaid cards, or allowance credits, your credit card is billed for the songs you buy.
When you buy an album on the iTunes Store:
Gift certificate, prepaid card, and allowance credits are used first.
If your gift certificate, prepaid card, or allowance credit is less than the total cost of the purchase, your credit card is billed for the remaining balance. Free song credits can't be used for album purchases.
If you have no gift certificates, prepaid cards, or allowance credits, your credit card is billed for the albums you buy.

This issue can sometimes happen when you leave a field blank on the order form. Also, make sure that you're logged in to the Adobe store in the same country as your you credit card mailing address. (You can check by clicking Change Location in the lower-left corner of the adobe.com website.)

Below is the advice you forwarded:
I found a solution to my problem.
> start menu
> accessories,
> right click on the command prompt icon and choose "run as administrator".
Once it opens, type in the following command...
netsh winsock reset
hit enter
You should get a message that the winsock reset successful and you will need to reboot your computer.
Reboot and when I reloaded itunes the store loaded fine.

Are you able to go back to the store that you bought it from and ask them to activate it properly ? Can you answer me a question. I clicked on report a problem to see what the page actually said ... and it came up with the details of my last iTunes purchase plus some personal details too. Would you know if this screen automatically throws up the last individual purchase of whoever links to it ... and it is secure.
If this is an abberation would you have a contact link to get immediate attention.

Try unsyncing the sone and then resyncing. That works sometimes. Sometimes restoring from backup works. Other times nothing seems to work.. Yuo are not alone since iOS5 and iTunes 10.5/6.

Have a look at the user status table TSOCM_STAT_PROP and see if there are any unwanted PROCESS_TYPE <> STSMA combinations.
For your process type there should only be one kind of status schema assigned.

I am trying to do the speed grade tutorial, but the color does not change when I move the temperature slider.

It might be nice to know which "issue" of Sg you're using.There have been issues where the colors "lag" while using a slider/control, but typically when you let "up" on the control, the adjustment is "there". From your comment, am I correct in assuming that the controls simply don't do anything even after you've moved them? And of course ... when you "move" them, you do see the indicator on the slider-line move, right?
