ITunes card invalid....

Bought two iTunes card a few months ago, so don't have the receipt anymore, one has already been redeem and used up, few months later try to redeem the second one and get the invalid code message. Went back to the shop to get them to fix it since they probably only activated one of the card at the time of purchase, now they wouldn't without the receipt. Contact apple and they wouldn't fix the problem without the receipt either. Did I just wasted a $30 iTunes credits?

I'm sorry to say that nothing can be done about inactive gift cards without a receipt(I know from experience )
Can only advise you keep receipts in the future until you have redeemed you cards

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? Are you able to go back to the store that you bought it from and ask them to activate it properly ? Invalid Code on iTunes Card

Last Sunday, I bought a $100.00 iTunes card. When I went to redeem it, the system told me it was an invalid code. I contacted Apple and sent scans of the card, my receipt, etc. Now, it is Thursday, and I am waiting to hear something. The person with whom I initially exchanged emails, is now ignoring my messages. What do I do? Am I just out the $100?

You can try calling the Apple tech support number - 800-275-2273 - and ask to speak with someone in Apple Customer Relations. A CR rep might be able to get some action for you on this, or at least a status. No guarantees, but it's worth a try.

Make sure you're using the correct code. For most iTunes cards, the code is under the scratchoff area on the back of the card. For more information, see this support article:

Most of the people on these public forums, including myself, are fellow users - you're not talking to iTunes Support here. I've asked the hosts to remove the card number from your post - hopefully nobody else will have read it and redeemed it onto their account.
