Itunes causes DVD Drivers to not Be able to load

For months I have been reinstalling Vista (two computers) and having to delete a file from my registry over and over again to play DVDs. I only found out today that it is Itunes install that causes this problem. The hours I have spent, the blue screens, the wasted time the replacement of my hard drive, motherboard, dvd devices (two) the waste of time is unmeasurable. The error message I receive is "can't load driver error code 10". But HOW DO YOU TALK TO APPLE ABOUT THIS? Even more importantly, how do I solve this problem? Somehow their Burn Drivers make the DVD inoperable. I shall add Apple to the list of arrogant corporations, but where should I put them on top of or below Microsoft? Is there any company that really cares about their consumers? Or do they all only want to see how fast they can develop something else for you to buy? I was 59, (60 Mar 23) before I bought and Ipod even though I was one of the first 50 people in the US to have a DAT walkman. SO I guess I am old because it used to be that you could talk to people. Now it is past 90 days since I bought the IPod made in CHINA!!! so i can't get tech support.

Isn't it curious that I did that already? BUT THat doesn't solve the problem/. As i reinstall Itunes so I can use it the problem start all over again. Is it that you have a Mac and I don't create the idea that it is easy. I wish I had a Mac, but I dont' and I paid too much to switch. If Apple wants me to buy an IPod then they need to make their software work on a PC.

iTunes Match is not sharable across Apple IDs. The best way to get the music on her iPad is to leave hers signed into her Apple ID on the iTunes Store and sync via USB.

Download iTunes 11 from the Apple site and reinstall. The error message was quite plain in telling you what to do to resolve the error.

I have done this on numerous occasions but I think that my Iphone has a defect. After many tries, reinstalls, deletion of content, changing content to be stored on external hard drive, deleting itunes and cleaning computer I managed to get all of the songs on and things seemed okay for a while.
The problem returned about a week ago after downloading a new album from Itunes. I now have 12.5k of songs leaving 10gb spare on Iphone which should be more than enough room to operate properly. Last night it seemed to be dowloading ok (after doing all of the above again for the umpteenth time) this morning it revealed that it had just synched 2.5k of songs and 18gb of "other" on the contents bar. it wont synch now as it says its over capacity. So the 18gb of "other" would probably be corrupted data that means it must corrupt each song as it tries to synch it.
The 2.5k of songs it did synch are working on the Iphone as is every song in the library on Itunes. I did completely delete the new album I bought and redownloaded it from the store then tried to synch just that album and it worked fine.
Just about time to dump apple I think!

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you are not able to locate the Messages application on your daughters iPod touch (4th generation). The good news is that this application cannot be deleted or restricted. The first suggestion I have is to try and search for Messages using Spotlight to search the iPod touch for this application. If Messages is located in Spotlight, then it has probably been moved to a different page of applications or even possibly a folder of applications on the device. Searching all pages will help you locate it.

ITunes causes DVD drive to fail in Toshiba Satellite laptops

This seemed unlikely to me and I was wondering if anyone had any similar experiences and/or suggestions.
This morning I discovered that the DVD drive on my Toshiba Satellite laptop wasn't working - Device manager said it Failed to Start (code 10). I called Toshiba and they asked what was the last thing I'd done on the PC. When I said, "Updating iTunes," they said that was the problem, due to an interaction between iTunes and Toshiba Satellite laptops.
Sure enough, uninstalling iTunes fixed the DVD drive.
So now I have to install / uninstall iTunes every time I want to update my iPod

Another thing to check on is a device filter conflict:
iTunes for Windows Vista: Troubleshooting CD issues caused by device filters
(One of the applications I' seen conflict in this way with iTunes on a Vista system is HP memories Disc Creator Software, which comes bundled with some HP digital cameras.)
... however, if you're still getting no CD/DVD drive with just the iTunes filters in place, you may be one of the unlucky ones who are getting the issue discussed here:

Although it wouldn't necessarily be a short-term thing, keep an eye on that document for updated information about the issue.
In the short term, one workaround might be to use a different application to rip the CDs, and then use the "Add to library" function to get the ripped files into your iTunes. (That way you wouldn't have to continually uninstall/install iTunes.) The following document might be of some help with that:

What would cause my computer to not be able to "all of a sudden" not be able to download videos?

I've always been able to download videos from You Tube, using it's You Tube Downloader HD. However, yesterday when I tried I would get an error saying I couldn't download the HQ version and did I want to try the AVI normal version.. If I click on Yes, it said unable to download the AVI normal did I want to try the 240p version. When I click on yes it says unable to download video.
I updated the You Tube downloader, did two system restores and still not able to download any videos.
I've never had any problems before and haven't downloaded/installed any new software.
Does anyone have any suggestions on why this happened all of a sudden, or, where might I start looking to find a a solution?
