ITunes Changed the Language to Finnish On Its Own After Restart

After having major problems with 7.5, I downloaded and installed 7.4.3. After a successful install and loading my entire library into my new iPod Classic, I ejected and shut down iTunes. When I plugged the iPod in again and iTunes automatically restarted, all of the menus were in Finnish!
I was familiar with where the Preferences menu was, and opened to the General tab to find that the drop down menu was set to English (even though I was reading Finnish). I tried to set to English and restart - same result (Finnish). I speak some Spanish, so I tried changing to Spanish . . . after the restart it came up in Polish. I then changed it to English and it worked.
Has anyone else had this issue (very strange)?

If your preferences are misbehaving, it might be worth deleting you preference files so new ones are created. This resets all your preferences to their defaults as though you just installed iTunes.
Resetting the iTunes Preference Files:
You may need to make hidden files visible
My Documents>Tools>Folder Options>View
Check Show hidden files and folders
-- Quit iTunes
-- Delete C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes.pref and/or iTunesPrefs.xml
-- Delete C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple Computer Inc\iTunes.pref and/or iTunesPrefs.xml
For Vista the files are in:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\iTunes
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
