my account was charged 24.99 three times and i didnt do it?

You've checked the purchase history on your account as per the page that you posted from, and nobody else has access to your account or devices (charges sometimes take a day or two to appear on  a card) ?If they appear on there and you didn't make them then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • Itunes charged credit card instead of gift card for own ipod app (Australia)

I have sufficient credit on my gift card. The T&C conditions of the gift card allow the purchase for my own ipod. Why then was my credit card charged? This has not happened before as all other purchases came off of the gift card including purchases made after the app was bought. Thanks for your help!

Same problem. So I contacted apple with this question:
My main iTunes account has credit (because I've redeemed gift cards on it) but when I try to purchase anything in the store, it asks for a credit card.
I have another iTunes account that has credit and a credit card, and anytime I buy anything, it bills my credit card.
How do I purchase using the iTunes credit that is on my account? I don't want anything billed to my credit card, so I just haven't been buying anything on iTunes. But there are some apps for my iPod Touch that I'd really like to be able to purchase.
    Thanks!
    And received this reply:
...I understand that you are asked for billing information even though you have store credit. I can certainly appreciate you would like some assistance, and I would be more than happy to help you out with this today.
I'm sorry you weren't able to make a purchase using your store credit. To purchase items on the iTunes Store with your store credit, your account information in your user profile needs to be corrected. I'll walk you through this process to get you back up and running in no time.
    1) Visit the My Apple ID website at:
    http://appleid.apple.com
    2) If the site is not displayed in your preferred language, click the Change Language link in the upper-right corner, type the name of your language in the field that appears, then click the Save button.
    3) Click the "Manage your account" link.
    4) Type your iTunes Store account name (which is your Apple ID) in the Apple ID field, type your password in the password field, then click the Sign In button.
    5) Click "Addresses" in the column on the left. If you have multiple shipping addresses, remove any out-of-date or duplicate addresses by clicking Delete. Also, make sure the state or province field is filled out correctly for each address. To edit an address, click Edit. Edit all of your shipping addresses and make sure the appropriate state is selected in the State drop-down menus.
    6) Now click "Phone Numbers" on the left. The area codes should be in the area code fields and the phone numbers should be in the phone number fields. If an area code is missing, or if it is in a phone number field, your account information may not save properly.
    7) Make any other necessary corrections, then click the Save Changes button.
    8) Click Log out in the upper-right corner.
When you make your next purchase on the iTunes Store, you will be asked to review your billing information. At this point, you can change your information or simply click Done at the bottom of the screen to proceed. Once you click Done, you should be able to purchase on the iTunes Store using your store credit.
And it worked the next time I bought an app on my iPod Touch! It was weird that it had my "Primary Address" and "Shipping Address" - though they were the same, I deleted my shipping address, and moved my "evening" phone into the "mobile" phone section, hit save, and problem solved. Weird that it was an address thing (I'm assuming) - perhaps the multiple addresses confused the billing process. It didn't ask to review my billing info when I bought something, but it used my store credit. Yay!
    Hope this helps!

  • WHY ITUNES CHARGED TO ME 3 TIMES SAME AMOUNT   FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT?

    YUJU

If you added or changed the credit card details on your account at the same time as making the purchase then you will probably have a received a small temporary store holding charge to check that the card details are correct and valid, but which should disappear within a few days or so. If you didn't change your card details then you can contact iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • ITunes charging credit card money aswell as iTunes card credit

When purchasing a game from iTunes , while having just redeemed a 20 dollar iTunes card. iTunes asked me to confirm payment information, as I did and spent 2 dollars , I found later that iTunes took two dollars off my iTunes credit , later I checked my card and found that 2 dollars have been taken from the credit card aswell , that would be 4 dollars for something that's worth 2 dollars , any explanations for why that is???

You should contact iTunes support by going to this page - https://expresslane.apple.com/GetproductgroupList.action
Select iTunes > iTunes store and let them know what happened.
    Best of luck.

  • Credit card charged three times in (not error) even though transaction was declined - please help!

Lenovo - Charged my card THREE times after transaction was declined two weeks ago ??? Fraud or Thieves I tried to buy a lenovo laptop but transaction was denied since I live in UK and tried to buy with a UK card. this was on 4th of may 2011. Two days back Lenovo charged me THREE times for a transaction which never got processed. My bank account is nill and everytime I get through customer services, either they hang up on me or pass me onto credit card services, where complete morons work. They are actually more ruder and hang up by telling me that I have to wait two days after transaction was cancelled. But when i do explain that the transaction was on the 4th and this was charged two days back, which is an error then they do the classic lenovo style ....HANG up on me. I dont have an order number since no order was placed, and completely broek and going mad. Does anyone help me .....

Hey Mark, Thankyou for helping me, someone sensible with a kind intention and I'm very appreciative for it. First of all, I'm in UK but my wife is in US, so I was ordering this for her and I tried to place the order several times but it was declined on all instances and no order was neither emailed as confirmation nor was it communicated. To place a charge on an order which was never processed seems very untoward and dubious practice. I buy things for my family in the US all the time using my card and never had any issue or problem and the worst is it will be declined. And when I do place an order it's always a point of mine to make sure it's a reliable vendor because then I can expect reasonable and safe transaction. But do you think Lenovo transaction processing policy gives any assurance for it's reliability other than to its own self. I placed an order with Amazon (US website) for a stroller for my baby girl back in December, they did not charge my card till a day before dispatch in March 2011 ........ for me that is a reasonable customer service and experience. Product Brand and Shopping for it is an experience, a consumer only expects that during this process the vendor or facilitator  "to be reasonable" and "fair", in this context your organisation has failed not just for me but probably every shopper who has passed through your doors. I used to love your product, I was waiting and saving to buy one of this for me and for my wife but now I would look for an alternative simply because I cant trust your services. I thankyou for helping me and hope something changes in the future and please advise your Credit Card services team that hanging up on a customer who is dealing with critical and money related issue is not nice.............nor professional. I couldn't have any lunch nor dinner yesterday because I do not have any money in my account. I had to go all the way across town in a bus to borrow some money from my friend so I can survive till I get my money back..... Lenovo won't care about it's actions because it's too big of a company with no heart nor soul  .... and the fact English language has this amazing word called "sorry" seems to be easy enough way to get over wrongs and hardship done to others. Like they say "what goes around comes around ...." Thankyou again Mark. Kind Regards A

  • ITunes keeps charging my card

ITunes made me put a card on file in order to have access to my apps. I was hesitant about doing this but really had no choice because I needed to update my apps. The first night it charged my card $7.97 & I purchased absolutely nothing. It has now been a week & I've never got a refund.  I just checked my statement & it's showing that iTunes charged my card for $0.99 & again I purchased absolutely nothing. I just need to know how do I go about getting this handled or even an explanation to why I keep getting charged.

  • ITunes over charge my Debit card 27 time. In the amount $277.16 how do I get my money back

iTunes over charge my debit card 27 time more in the amount of $277.16 how do I get my money back

First, report the incorrect charges to the bank that issued your card as incorrect/fraudulent. Then contact the iTunes Store and explain the situation to them:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html
If these charges were for apps you did not purchase rather than being billed multiple times for an app you did buy, you should also immediately change the password on your iTunes Store account.
You may also want to just remove your debit card information from your account, at least until you get things sorted out. I usually recommend against using a debit card in any situation where it is stored in the online store for just this reason; should something go wrong or someone obtain access to your iTunes account, your bank account can be drained dry very quickly. If you don't have a credit card, I'd suggest purchasing and using prepaid iTunes cards. That limits the amount of damage any fraud or problem can do to you.
    Regards.

  • HT201209 When I press redeem it asks me to sign in and then enter my iTunes card code. After entering in my iTunes card code it then asks me three times for my password. Right after it says: Error press continue and sign in to redeem code. Please help me

why is it whenever I sign in and put in my code it asks me three times for my password and then says: "Error press continue and sign in to redeem code." I really need help because I have three fifteen dollar cards that I want to put on! I had four but then for some reason the first one worked after a long time of trying but the other ones didn't.
