    the music in a single library can be downloaded to two different ipods. (mauve and attractive beast both connect to the same library.)

  • HT201272 I have purchased a movie and elected to download later; when I go to the iTunes store, it shows where it is purchased yet when I go to the movie it ask for it to be purchased, will I be charged twice for the movie I have not downloaded yet?

    I purchased the movie "Black Nativity" at midnight and selected to download later; it shows that the movie has been charged in my account for billing, however; I when I go to download the movie, it ask for it to be purchased versus download.  I would like to know if I will be charged again for the movie upon selecting  purchase movie?  I would like some direction as for how to download the movie that I already purchased.

    Clicking on its purchase price again may result in you being charged again. Does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option download it
    Or does it show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for downloading

    Tried to download a movie for a plane trip.  My wife tried first on her iPad and found she did not have enough memory.  Then I tried on my iPhone 6 plus and although it said it was downloaded it didn't play on the plane.  We got charged twice for a movie we could not watch.  Tried to find support to get credit but can't find anything.  What now?

    Are you and your wife using the same iTunes account on your iPad and iPhone, and if you are how did you try to download the film ? If you are using the same account and you used the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone (assuming that you are in a country where films can be redownloaded) then you shouldn't have been charged again - you can use the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

    It should be in the Users/ Shared folder.
    Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Note the option to check and repair Library Permissions

    If you're still unable to redeem your code after verifying the characters in the code, you'll need to contact iTunes Store Support for help. You'll need to provide a digital image of the front and back of the gift card as well as the sales receipt for the purchase of the gift card.

    Go to the iTunes support page and select your iTunes country.
    From the iTunes support page, choose Contact Support on the lower-left side of the page.

    How much is the 'charge' ? You aren't charged for downloading free apps (though some then allow you to make in-app purchases in them).
    Did you add or change your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you did then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge ($1 or approximate local equivalent) may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

    To begin with, I would like to try to explain Apple's confusing nomenclature in regard to iCloud.
    Apple have called the whole cloud thing iCloud, there are a number of features under the iCloud umbrella, some of which require their own login. iTunes is one of these, another is what Apple have unfortunately also called iCloud too.
    You can use the same Apple ID (account) to login to both iCloud and iTunes, but you don't need to and often users will login to each service using a different ID.
    The part that you need to remember is that the services available when you log into iCloud are completely different and unrelated to those when you log in to iTunes. Your iCloud login enables mail, contacts, calendars, find my phone, Back to My Mac, Documents & Data sharing and photostream, it does not affect any of your iTunes services.
    To avoid confusion when discussing your problem, when I mention iCloud, I am referring to the services under the iCloud login, Whereas I will refer to the whole cloud thing as The Cloud.
    To go back to your question; you cannot merge accounts, but perhaps using one account for iCloud and the other for iTunes will resolve the majority of the reasons you needed to merge to begin with.

    You can check the purchase history on your account via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, though I'm not sure if that shows auto-renewing subscriptions. Have you added or changed your credit card details on your account (when you do then a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the details are correct and valid, which should disappear within a few days) ?     Given that it probably hasn't been used in years, it's likely that the battery is shot and in need of replacement.  However, the damage may be more than that, since it won't even power on, so it's hard to say for sure.
