Itunes charges

I just redeemed some itunes cards on my PC but when I donwnload an app on my ipad, it doesn't deduct the charge from my itunes card total. Instead, it charges my check card. If I download on my PC, no problem. How can I get the apps I download on my ipad paid for with the itunes cards redeemed on my PC?

Check your email. iTMS always emails me a receipt. Make sure your email doesn't think it's spam.
It should show the tax listed out, if your state charges tax on downloads.
For example, here is a receipt I got from a free download:
Item Number --- Description --- Unit Price
Q0262 --- Girl and the Sea --- Free
Q0262 --- Red, White and Blue --- Free
Subtotal: $0.00
Tax: $0.00
Order Total: $0.00

You can't tell which device a purhcase was made on, but if your family members each have their own iTunes account to which your card is linked then you can check the purchase history on each of those accounts via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes - that should have 'purchase history' section with a 'see all' link to the right of it

  • ITunes Charged me 9 times for 1 purchase and Support has not resolved it

iTunes charged me 9 times for a single transaction and I'm getting no where in getting it resolved.
Nov 21, 2005: Purchased Season 2 of Lost (videos) for $13.93
Nov 21-22 2005: Was charged over and over again, totaling 9 times for the single purchase
Nov 23: 2005: Initial contact to iTunes support; they tell me this is normal that small charges may be applied to your account as 'authorization requests' Of course, these weren't normal or small charges it was billing error that charged me 9 times for a single purchase.
After contacting them again to reiterate the fact that I was charged 9 times for the purchase, my mail is finally read and an acknowledgments is made that something went wrong. They tell me "We have investigated and resolved the issue you reported. Within 72 hours, you will receive a refund for the duplicate charges through your Paypal account, coming from the iTunes Music Store."
Nov 29 2005: I wait patiently beyond 72 hours for all the refunds to be put in place; some are completed but 2 charges still show. One at the time is valid, its the purchase I made. ** (Not valid today because the music shows as not payed for anymore) **
I contact Support on the 29th stating all of the refunds have not come in, they tell me there is nothing they can do and that I need to contact Paypal. "The best way to resolve this issue is to contact PayPal and advise them of the situation."
I talk to a senior person at Paypal and they tell me there is nothing they can do, that iTunes must issue the refund. Nice. Circles!
I write back again to iTunes Support stating that I had contact Paypal and they stated that there is nothing they can do regarding the refund, that Paypal needs to resolve the matter. iTunes writes back:
"We're sorry that you have experienced this problem with your PayPal account. Unfortunately, we will not be able to notify you when the matter is resolved. Our engineers are trying to correct the errors, and we hope to enable PayPal payment processing as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience."
OK, they at least acknowledge there is a problem (even if they are blaming it on Paypal) and that they are working on it.
Dec 05 2005: Follow up today to get a status as to when I will be refunded for their error, I get no update, only the following response:
"We apologize in the delays in processing this refund, and we thank you for your patience."
I follow up stating I would like the full amount refunded; it seems the original purchase is listed as not payed for so I can't even watch what I purchased! At this point I just
want to be refunded so I can cancel and delete my iTunes account.
    Whats bad:
    - Can't reject the charge on my cc since it will get rejected back to paypal, not iTunes/Apple (paypal will then likely just close my account and come after me for the money)
    - Can't reject charges in paypal, they don't seem to do that
    - iTunes/Apple support mails are incredibly canned responses and impersonal
    - I'm at the mercy of iTunes/Apple in resolving this; there is no ETA for them to resolve this issue that they created.
    - I've asked to be called regarding this matter and the requests have been ignored
Any advice to get this resolved would be appreciated. It is has been an incredibly frustrating experience; I don't much like the idea being forced to pay off a credit card charge for services that I have not actually received and which were charged to me in error.
    Mac OS X (10.4.3)

This is EXACTLY what happened to me and many others. Tech support returned most of my money but not all of it. Figure that one out! It is clear no music is downloaded (or in queue), it is clear an unknown error message is produced, and it is clear we, the consumer, are still being charged anyway. Will Apple require a credit card from its customers and alienate those that do not wish to use a credit card? Will Apple insult its customers and make silly suggestions such as 'Use an iTunes gift card' in much the same way a forum moderator has already recommended?
I have an idea: Acknowledge the problem publicly (via email, for example) and fix it in a future update. Customers will be more understanding if they know there is a temporary problem and Apple is working hard to fix it. Oh, and return our money, please!

  • Itunes charges money

Greetings. I downloaded the icon pop brand(Free Application) from the App Store, but the store required me to re-enter the 3 digit security code from my credit card. After i entered the security code...i received a text message from my local bank, and it informs me that I have been charged for OMR 3.927
(That's USD 10.20) from APPLE iTUNES. Why APPLE iTUNES charges me this amount of money, despite that the app is free? Please help.

    Hello there, Binks.
You are correct in your expectations for how you should be billed when purchasing content in iTunes as mentioned in this Knowledge Base article:
How iTunes Store purchases are billed - Apple Support
Which payment methods will be used first?
When you make a purchase, content credits are used first, followed by Gift Certificate, iTunes Card, or Allowance Account credits. Your credit card or PayPal account is then charged for any remaining balance.
When you buy individual songs from the iTunes Store:
Free song credits are redeemed first.
If you have no free song credits, then your gift certificate, prepaid card, and allowance credits are used next.
If your gift certificate, prepaid card, or allowance credit is less than the total cost of the purchase, your credit card is billed for the remaining balance.
If you have no free song credits or gift certificates, prepaid cards, or allowance credits, your credit card is billed for the songs you buy.
When you buy an album on the iTunes Store:
Gift certificate, prepaid card, and allowance credits are used first.
If your gift certificate, prepaid card, or allowance credit is less than the total cost of the purchase, your credit card is billed for the remaining balance. Free song credits can't be used for album purchases.
If you have no gift certificates, prepaid cards, or allowance credits, your credit card is billed for the albums you buy.
If the issue persists, you may want to report your issue using the information found in this article:
Report a problem with an item purchased from the iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBooks Store - Apple Support
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro.

  • HT1933 Good morning.  I found on my bank statement over $100 of Itunes charges that I have no idea what they represent??

Good morning.  I found on my bank statement over $100 of Itunes charges that I have no idea what they represent.  How do I find out what these charges are and if not responsible, how do I remove these charges.

You can view the purchase history on your computer's iTunes : if you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases. (On your phone you can view a cut-down version of the purchase history via http://reportaproblem.apple.com).
If you didn't make the purchases, and nobody else has access to your account or devices and may have made them, then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • ITunes charges to my credit card come up as Singapore when I'm in Australia

I have an Australian iTunes accounts but I've notice in the last month that my credit card statements list my iTunes charges as "iTunes Music Store//SingapSingapore 000".  My iTunes receipts say Australia, and have GST and the ABN - so why is my money going to Singapore?

You have issues that several different companies have to be contacted. As someone said earlier, this forum consists of fellow users helping each other. The company "Apple" does not participate here.
First of all, if there is a problem with Facebook blocking you, then you need to follow up with Facebook - and not Apple. They are not related.
Secondly, if there are unauthorized charges, then you need to file the proper paperwork (or phone call) with your bank or credit card company. And by the way, if you want to avoid getting unauthorized charges like this on something like iTunes (or other online companies, too) - then pick up a Visa/Debit Card from Walmart and just load on it the amount you're wanting to use - and then if someone snags that number they can't charge anything more, since you only loaded the amount you wanted to use.
If you want some assistance on using the iPad, set up an appointment at the "Genius Bar" at an Apple Store to make sure you're using the iPad in a secure manner. That's one place where "Apple" will help you directly. However, keep in mind they won't help you with "Facebook issues" or with "bank issues". You'll have to go to them directly.
The iPad is simply a tool, just like a computer is a tool, or a car is a tool. It's all in "how you use it".

  • How do i file fraudulent itunes charges on my debit card?

How do i file fraudulent itunes charges on my debit card? I contacted my bank, who told me to contact itunes. When trying to do so, I'm told that i have to pay $29.00 for them to help me resolve this issue.  Also, I have an album that has "appeared" on all 3 apple iphones that are in my family. In which, none of us purchased it

If the album is U2's Songs of Innocence then that was given free to everyone back in September - if you don't want it on your account : http://itunes.com/soi-remove
For the iTunes charges, then if they are on your iTunes account (and nobody else has access to your account or devices and made the purchase), then you can contact iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If it's not on your iTunes account then your card issuer should deal with it.

    Do what Roger says above.
Do you have 'in-app' purchases enabled on an iPhone/iPad or other device that kids or other family members use ?  That could be the issue.
If not change your iTunes Store password to try to prevent whatever is doing this making further charges.
Also if you can't find the cause, talk to your cc company.

  • ITunes charged £1.58 to my new credit card when i switched to it.

  • HT3702 Itunes charged for free app download (Update).

Itunes charged for free app download (Update). No clue why this happened. Can anyone tell me what could be the problem?

If you mean the temporary store holding charge, as described on the page that you posted from, then that is only temporary, it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.
That 'charge' is made each time that you change your card details to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account.
If you mean a 'proper' charge, and it appears on your purchase history and on your credit card, then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • Where do you go when you have questionreguarding itune charges?

What site do yo go to when you are disputing a itunes charge?

    http://apple.com/support/itunes/contact/.

  • How can I view iTunes charges without having iTunes?

How can I view iTunes charges without having iTunes?
Unless you have iTunes installed. I cannot find a way to see details about charges to my account.
I understand that a confirmation email is sent after each charge, but unfortunately I delete those.
Apple has to implement an easier way for people to track details of charges without the need of iTunes, since most people do not connect or depend anymore of iTunes and only use (OTA) for registration, updates, iCloud restore, etc.

Sorry, but other than the receipts, the only way to view the dates and costs of a purchase are by using iTunes ona  computer. If you want to make suggestions to Apple regarding a different method, you can use their feedback pages:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback
Those people who do not arrange access to iTunes are taking a big risk with their purchases, since without backing up to iTunes on your computer you're at the mercy of the app and content owners who can remove items at any time. This has happened on numerous occasions, and if that happens, redownloading that item will no longer be possible, leaving you with no recourse should you inadvertently or deliberately remove the item from your iOS device.
    Regards.

  • Itunes charged me 3 times for computer authorization.

Since authorization required credit card number, whenever I try to authorize my computer iTunes charge me for $0.99!
It happened three times. 20 mins ago I have tried to install Tivibu Cep application which is free. And Itunes wanted me to authorize my computer, which I recently reinstalled windows 7. I gave all my credit card information and it happened again.
It is really frasturating. In my account information, it says "Most Recent Purchase: 15 July 2011". When I look my purchase history, my last purchase is Tivibu Cep v1.1 Free, and closest purchase is 11 July 2011 which is Angry Birds Update! And it is free too since it is a update.
Today, I bought nothing but Tivibu, which is free. But iTunes charged me anyway!
This is happening for 3rd time!
This is my Credit Card History:
    12 July 2011           ITUNES-USD              1,69 TL
    15 July 2011           ITUNES-USD              1,69 TL
Notice that 1,69 TL = $0.99 since I live in Turkey.
Pls Help Me, What Can I do About That?
