Itunes charging twice for same songs

My old 4g iphone speakers broke and the apple store replaced it with a new iphone but the music from my old iphone isnt on the new phone. How do i get my old music back? Or do I have to pay for the songs again?

    You shouldn't be charged for downloading an app with an account that has already purchased that app, however it is only after you click the link to "Buy" that you will be told that you have already purchased it, but can download again if you want.
    If you have been charged twice, and didn't inadvertently use a separate account for each purchase then open your account history in iTunes and use the "Report a problem" link attached to the purchase.
    BTW You can authorize up to five different computers at any one time for each account. Each iDevice can hold protected content from up to five different accounts at any one time. The number of different iDevices that hold content from any given account is not restricted.

    I'm just guessing since you provide so little information about your situation, but look under the Store menu in iTunes for the "Check for available downloads" command and run that. You may find the tracks there to be downloaded.
    If not, and/or if you are certain you've been double-charged (and one charge wasn't the normal hold placed when you first enter a credit card), contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department from their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form, or an "Email Us" button) and explain the problem to them.

    I went to buy a song using iTunes, and after clicking 'Buy Song', I received a message about how the terms and conditions had changed. I agreed to that, and it then told me to try my download again, which I did, only to find out I'd been charged twice for one song!
    Is there any way I can get that extra 79p back and solve this problem?

    I purchased a song today for .99 cents, I had over $32.00 showing as my balance to use to buy products in Apple Store, and I did see the balance go down after the purchase, so why is there a $1.00 pending charge on my credit card?  I don't ever remember seeing a pending charge on my credit card, and I've
    always used gift cards to buy my music at the Apple Store.
    I was asked to update my credit card information before Apple would allow me to  purchase the song, which I did..........my question is was I charged twice for the1 and only song I purchased today?

I went to checkout and when I tried with paypal I got an error and was taken back to the order page. so I tried again this time it went through but when I checked paypal I was charged twice for the same order number one listed as completed the other pending. I emailed best buy yesterday morning but have heard nothing.

    Deal of Day is an awesome way to get amazing items for less, and I’m glad to see you took advantage of what we had to offer. Although, I only can imagine your disappointment when you found two charges relating to its purchase on your PayPal account, and I’m sorry for any aggravation this caused.
     As I want to provide you some piece of mind, I pulled up your order number using your email address attached to the forum. After review of its payment information, I found we collected only one payment.  However, when orders are first placed on BestBuy.com, a pending authorization should show up on your bank card to make sure funds are available for the order until it is fulfilled. From there, the authorization should drop off and the collection charge should appear. As you mention that one of your PayPal charges is listed as “pending”, it seems that it might not have fallen off as it should.  However, as Best Buy isn’t collecting the pending funds, your issuing bank should release the pending hold within 5 to 7 business days.
    If this charge doesn’t drop off within the aforementioned timeframe, I would recommend contacting PayPal for further assistance.  If you have any further questions for me though, please don’t hesitate to ask.

    I purchase music using iTunes and was doing it more and more until now. Recently I went to purchase a song and had a download problem in the middle of my purchase. The song did not show up and I went through the process again almost immediately. I recieved the song but was charged twice. After submitting the problem under both purchases (surely they can see they were almost at the same time) I was told I purchased them and that was that.
    This lack of control over things I purchase and inability to actually resolve problems is driving me away from the iTunes store. My advice for everyone is simple. Buy the disc. The more industry moves towards an online verification/must log on to prove ownership model the more we lose. I was a Mac advocate and computer geek since the SE. Enough is enough. It is becoming more of a cruthc than a tool.

    When a download is interrupted, you can just click Store>Check for Available downloads.
    Once you click buy, then it is purchased.
    As with anything, itunes is not for everyone. You are free to shop for music wherever you like.

    Somehow, I tune I bought got downloaded twice and I got charged twice. What can I do to correct this error? It's happened before and I let it go, but obviously I need to fix this dang problem now!! Thanks.

    Contact the iTunes Music Store customer support department through the form at the bottom of this web page and explain the problem to them. Assuming that it's an iTMS mistake and not that you mistakenly purchased the same song twice, they should then issue a credit to your account.
