Itunes claims it is downloading, but nothing happens! Help, please!
I have a balance of $29, and just yesterday redeemed a giftcard, so itunes appears to be working correctly, however whenever I attempt to purchase a song it still has me enter my apple ID and password, and the 'mini-player' states that it is 'purchasing' for about half a second, yet it has not purchased.....the song does not appear in my library, and my balance stays the same. I have just had my harddrive updated, so there should be no problems there, and everything else on itunes seems to be running normally. Any idea what could be going on? There are no error messages at all, it's just not actually purchasing anything. VERY fustrating!

When attempting to download songs from itunes cloud to my mac book air all I get is a box indicating download but nothing happens ?

download the iTunes standalone installer
reboot into safe mode
run a permission repair session using disk utility
run the installer
let the Mac reboot normally -

Maverick says its downloading, but nothing happens
The aps store says "downloading", de launchpad show the osx icon with the text downloading but nothing happens. There is no internet traffic, no file is being made. I;ve tried restarting, creating an extra user, removing the download and restarting from the launchpad. I've looked in the active applications but cant find anything useful. I can't find a file created today.

I cannot download the free trial of Lightroom. In my screen it says that it is downloading but nothing happens. I am trying for more than one hour now.

Click the Apple logo at the top left hand corner and go down to Force Quit. Then force the Finder to restart/quit.
Otherwise you can use the Command-Option-Escape short cut keys to open up Force Quit and force the Finder to quit. -
