Itunes connect - cannot create test user
Hello,
I have tried many times to create a testing account that assoiate with my account
but it alway say that.
The following error(s) occurred:
Account already exists.
Even with a random email.
Do you know how to fix this.
Thank you for your kinfly help
I dont know what to do next. At resolution center, they told me to register and test an app for iAP. But i may not be able to do so. If i have to wait, for how long??

Cannot create additional user in Essbase Adminstration Services
I have created the admin user in Admin Services but cannot create any additional users; the option to "create user" is grayed out. It doesn't allow me to use the wizard as well. Can anybody tell me what the problem is and how to resolve it.
First if you have created the Admin user when you first installed Hyperion, you can't create another user Admin user on the same server. Second, if you created the Admin user without supervisor or create/delete users privileges you can't create other users if you logged in with this user. You mentioned the create/delete is grayed out that means you don't have privileges to create or delete a user if you logged in with that user.
Also, you may have a problem with your EAS, so try using MaxL or ESSCMD to create users and assign them to groups, check the Tech reference for more details:
create user Guest identified by 'password' member of group Visitors; -
I am trying to manually create a user in OIM (10g) and it is not allowing me.
I get the following error message:

The definition of task could not be found.
I have seen a lot of other posts where people say to post the log where the error is given, but I don't exactly know where the error is. I've searched for "ERROR" at the timestamp and I see many errors. Below is a part of the log:

I was facing the same errors that you got above. In my case, It occur because I've tried to install my connector(first time and did not complete properly) and tried again. So, I solve this restoring backup and installed the connector one time only.

J2ee_admin login cannot create/change user
Hi all,
I have a dual stack installation, hence login via j2ee_admin. However, all options to create change a new portal user are disabled both in portal and visual administrator.
How can I create new users for portal? With dual stack I am only able to login via j2ee_admin.HI,
Log on to the ABAP system. Go to transaction su01, search for user sapjsf, and assign the role SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION and simultaneously remove the role SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO.
Resatrt both the ABAP+JAVA server.
This should solve the problem.

The app is built on top of the new REST based API’s for user access (as opposed to the full administrator CUPI access) and allows you to do basic account configuration items for greetings, transfer options, voice name, private lists and a few other items. It’s currently limited to English only.

Can I limit iTunes Connect or Member Center users to a single app?
I'm in the planning stages of the development of two iOS apps that we're hoping to release through a single account. It's possible that two different development companies will be involved in the build. Is it possible to manage users on an app-by-app basis so that developers from company A can only access App A and developers from company B only access App B? This seems like something that would be useful but I couldn't work it out from the documentation.
ThanksThanks for the info MIchael. The apps would be distributed through the app stores normally available on iPad/iPhone rather than the standalone iTunes app if that makes any difference. But that sounds like semantics to me sadly!

Moving itunes content when creating new user account
Recently added two iphones to our rapidly growing apple family of devices. Our imac was originally set up with just one main user account the whole family shared. The problem I have is with sharing, syncing, merging with my iphone all family shared information. For example, the contact list on the shared family mac is huge and includes many "x-mas card only people" that I will never need to call. Same with shared calendar. If make some quick notes or reminders on my calendar just for me, it replicates on to everyones device. The guy at the apple store suggested I should have my own account. I have done that and am now seeing the limitations OSX puts on different accounts as it seeks to protect each account. An example here is trying to share and use our iphoto library. My goal is to have itunes in my new , separate account that syncs to my own contact list (won't change back to the full family list every time I sync), has just the apps I want (not my daughters 300 apps that seem to keep re-appearing on my phone), still be able to sync to the family calendar but maybe have one of my own as well, have my own playlists from itunes 9I was able to find a way to access the big family music library in my account) and be able to build iphoto albums to sync.
I think problems stem from a lack of understanding the basics of what separate "accounts" really can and can't do as it relates to different applications and devices.

Created "Test" user to get around corrupt file.
Everything seems to be working fine so far. Up and running again. Problem is when I changed the name from test to a different name than I had on my original user id/pw, it's still showing the short name as test and not the new name. Not sure if that's a problem or not!?!
I changed the shortname under sys pref, but it returns as test. I rebooted using dvd and changed the name again but is still showing shortname as test.

Help. Cannot create another user account
I am trying to add another user account but systems preferences will hang whenever I choose Accounts. It works fine otherwise (any other selections can be made with no problems). When I press accounts it will say loading accounts but never go anywhere from there....
then something is wrong with the accounts pref pane itself.
it's located in /system /library/preferencePanes.
try reinstalling it from the SL install dvd using Pacifist http://www.charlessoft.com/
then reinstall 10.6.2 combo update. see if it works after that. -
ITunes 12: cannot create new Genre
When I attempt to edit Genre info of a song or album, I no longer have the option to type in anything. Before I upgraded to iTunes 12, I could just highlight and edit, but I can no longer type anything in the Genre box.
Now I can only choose from existing Genres? What's the deal here?
This is far from ideal.

The ability to change or add genres is still there.
Just click on genre field and make change.

Itunes connect, cannot save app after adding a build
Hi all,
Currently my app status is "Prepare for Submission". Yesterday I added the first build to my app. I can see the build in "prerelease". So I add the build to my app page and click "save". But save always fail with following messages.
There was an error saving changes. Please try again later or contact App Store Developer Support.
Can you please help me and explain what the problem is? I can modify other text descriptions and that saved ok.

I have a personal iTunes account but I want to create a separate business account so that I can sign up for iTunes Connect to create books? Any suggestions? Should I create a new iTune account or not. I would like to keep them separate but I don't need any of the other iTunes offereings such as music, etc. I just want an account so that I can open the ITunes Connect. Has anyone done that - with or without separating it from their personal. Actually, I have two businesses which deal with publishing so I would probably want Separate iTunes Connect accounts for both of them. Help?

Unfortunately, your registration experience seems to be fairly common. It tooks about 8 business days for us to receive our final approval.
One thing to confirm - about a day or two after submitting the original request, I received an email stating that I needed to review and execute the iTunes U Service agreement. Did you receive that email? It took about another 6 business days after that to complete the process.
Another thing to check - did you designate someone else as your Site Manager? That is the person that will recieve the final approval notice and the steps to initialize the site.
