ITunes Connect doesn't recognize iBooks update

Hi,
I'm trying to update an eBook (created with iBooks Author, .iba format) to the 1.2 version.
I follow all the steps correctly with iTunes Producer, it finished uploading and I hear the signal and see the window saying that everything went good.
But after that, nothing happens, iTunes Connect doesn't recognize any update so it turns out I have a book out of control.
It's very strange, as 3 weeks ago I updated another different book and I didn't have any problem.
Is there is something wrong with Apple Servers? Am I doing anything wrong?
Thanks for your help!

Hi,
I've contacted Apple by phone yesterday and they told me ther was a problem when creating the EIN.
In fact, we gave them the name of our company with spaces while they wrote them without spaces.
So Apple didn't understand why it wasn't the same.
They told me it surely be good in a few days.
Just have a look at it first.
Thanks

  • ITunes sync doesn't recognize changed groupes in Address Book

iTunes sync doesn't recognize changed groupes in Address Book. What to do?
I've cleared All Contacts on the iPad2 so it is blank now. I want to sync just a particular new group which is the combination of two former groupes which didn't sync correctly.

To be more clear (in hopes you can get it to work!) :
Under Mail -> Preferences -> Composing
    1. Be sure to CHECK the box that says autocomplete addresses under the Addressing heading.
    2. Quit Mail and restart.
If that doesn't work then I would suggest quitting Mail and trashing the Preference file (~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist). Then restart Mail and make sure the box is checked as above and restart Mail. Note that all preferences will be reset to the default and you may need to reconfigure Mail the way you like it. You can always drag the plist file back and restart Mail.app to restore your previous settings.

  • Cannot update itunes and doesn't recognize ipod anymore

cannot install the new version 6.04. I have gone through the support section. It states to update the following registry:
    # In the right pane of the Registry Editor window, double-click Common Administrative Tools.
    # In the Value data box of the Edit String dialog box that appears, type the following line, and then click OK:
    %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools
The problem is I don't have a line that states "common administrative tools" to update. I am using windows xp. Any suggestions.
Also, Itunes no longer even recognizes when my ipod is plugged in.

Hmm....I just had another thought.  All the machines are running Win7 SP1, BUT the 2 that can sync with MSE installed are 32bit versions, however the one that can't is 64bit.  Not sure if that makes any difference though.  All are clean installs with Win7SP1 media, not SP1 installed later.

  • My laptop has windows 7 64bit and when i downloaded itunes it doesn't recognize my 3gs or my Ipod touch,  but will charge them both

Recently purchased a laptop,  came with windows 7 64bit,  downloaded itunes and tried to sync both the 3gs and Ipod touch,  itunes doesn't recognize either.  The computer doesn't show the devices on the device manager but I am able to charge them both from the usb ports.  Tried uninstall and reinstall itunes and rebooting the apple mobile device support.  Need suggestions

  • Remote Update Manager doesn't recognize applicable updates

    Hi,
We have a script scheduled to run Remote Update Manager on one of our client machines. This machine is currently running OSX 10.8.5 and Adobe Creative Cloud. When looking at Creative Cloud directly, we can clearly see that there are updates available for our Adobe products. Remote Update Manager, however, does not recognize these updates and will therefore not automatically update. This prevents the user from working as they do not have access to administrative credentials used to update these applications.
I have included an example of the returned messages by Remote Update Manager. These logs are pulled as of this morning but, as you can see, still reflect an outdated entry of 10/17/13.

  • My iPhone 4 stopped updating in the middle of the process and now I can't use my phone. Itunes also doesn't recognize it, but my computer does when it charges

So I was talking to my friend on the phone and hooked it up to my computer to sync and the update thing appeared. I clicked on update and download the latest update for it and it was going smoothly. After the software/firmware (I can't remember which one) was extracted, my phone was backed up. Once the back-up was complete, iTunes said preparing update. That's when I got a message saying the update could not be performed or something (it sounded like the phone came unplugged or something). Now my phone is stuck on a screen with a usb connector with an arrow pointing to an iTunes logo.
I've tried pressing the sleep/wake button, holding it, holding the home button, and holding both for a hard reset. Nothing has worked. I have an Apple Care policy, but I want to see if there's a way I can fix it so I don't have to go to an Apple store.
I can't rememebr what OS I was running at the time, but I think the update was for 4.3.3 if that helps
Thanks in advance for your help!

Did you try to connect in recovery mode? iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to restore

  • When updating to the new iOS my ipod died and now I have nothing but a white screen that won't turn off and itunes now doesn't recognize it

When I was updating my ipod touch to the new iOS last night it died and now I have nothing but a white screen. iTunes no longer recongnizes the device and it won't turn off when I hold the power button or when I hold the power and home screen button.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • ITunes doesn't recognize my updated iPod

Using iTunes 5.0.1 I upgraded my iPod software to 1.2 for my color iPod. I still get the message that I cannot use purchased music because my software is too old. On the iPod the version says it is 1.2. I tried repairing permissions but it didn't help. I tried reinstalling iTunes 5.0 and that didn't work either. Any suggestions?

    Hello mhill10633,
Based on your post, it sounds as if your device is not recognized by iTunes for Windows. I have located an article that will walk you through a series of troubleshooting steps to resolve this:

  • My Itouch is stuck on a screen with a USB cable pointing to an iTunes symbol but when i try and connect to itunes it doesn't recognize it. I can't turn it off because my touch screen isn't working although my sleep button is, Help please?

My iPod got slightly wet but only slightly. Could this have done it?

Turn it off.  If it got wet somehow, you may try drying your ipod off.  The slow method would be a sunny window sill.  You could use a hair dryer on LOW, pointing it at the contacts.  When it drys out, charge itand try a hard-reset. If it still doesn't function properly....  ?

  • ITunes still doesn't recognize iPod Touch with Microsoft Security Essentials Installed

Just updated iTunes to v. 10.3.1.55 and still have the same problem with iTunes freezing when connecting my iTouch.  It will eventually respond but never recognizes my ipod.  Un-install Microsoft Security Essentials and it works fine.  I have 2 other computers with the same setup (software wise) and neither of those have this issue.
Here's a thread with more details I've posted trying to find an answer to this...
    http://www.sevenforums.com/system-security/161085-security-essentials-itunes.htm l#post1439068
    Any help would be appreciated...
    Thanks,
    Mike

Thanks for the suggestions, however I have already tried that and it had no effect.  I've put in exclusions, and even went so far as to disable the MSE service and still have the issue.  The only thing that corrects it is uninstalling MSE completely.
This USED to work fine until I updated to iTunes 10.2.2 a couple of months ago...that release seems to be when it broke.
I've even went so far as to completely reload my PC and it will work perfectly until MSE is installed....then no luck.

  • ITunes STILL doesn't recognize my nano!  I need your help!

This has been a source of frustration for me for the entire day. I have spent a TOTAL 6 hours trying to resolve this problem only for it to persist. I am VERY CLOSE to giving up on this and I refuse to pay $60 for tech support. I will tell you how this came to be:
    1. I realized that the middle button on my iPod brings up the Apple logo.
    2. I installed the upgrade thingy and put it on my iPod nano.
    3. iTunes DOES NOT RECOGNIZE my nano.
    4. I spend hours starting and re-starting my computer, following ALL FIVE of the Rs. I uninstalled, re-installed, uninstalled, re-installed, etc. etc.
    5. The funny thing is that iTunes recognizes my mother's iPod Shuffle but not my Nano.
I am very upset that I cannot (probably temporarily) use my Nano. It was a gift to me and I use it when I go for daily walks. This problem had started this morning on Sunday and it is still unresolved.
Please help me. I am considering having this thing exchanged for a new one.

I have the same problem and i tried everything that is on the site........... but nothing's working and im verry despaired, everytime i try to open the ipod updater it says error of service of ipod and when i try to open itunes it says that he's not connecting to the ipod but windows still recognise that the ipod is connected... i don't understand.
I've tried all the day long to make it work too but nothing's working, i really need help, i've bought it like there's two days and i would like it to work !
*im verry sorry for my english im normaly speakign french. Is there any discussions on french ??? it could be easier for me :P

  • ITunes 8 Doesn't Recognize my iPhone

Since upgrading to iTunes 8, the application no longer recognizes my iPhone -- so I am unable to sync it. It still shows up in the Windows Explorer and the phone appears perfectly functional. My 80GB iPod video shows up no problem when I plug it in. Additionally, every time I plug in the iPhone, a Windows dialogue box pops up saying "Camera connected" and asking me if I want to launch any of a variety of listed programs. This also happened before I upgraded iTunes; however, I would just hit cancel and there seemed to be no ill effect as it would connect to iTunes with no issue.
    Any suggestions?
On a side note, I really should learn not to upgrade to the latest version until a patch to it has come out... this has bitten me far too many times for me to agree to install a new version right away.
Additional info: I just tried it on another computer that has the previous version of iTunes installed. It recognized the iPhone just fine and told me there was a firmware upgrade to 2.1 available but that I would require iTunes 8 to install it. I don't think 'upgrading' both machines to version 8 at this point is a good idea...

I found the answer to my problem:
Apparently when you plug your iPhone in to your computer, Windows will "sometimes" install the drivers as a camera, putting them in the wrong place. This is why it will pop up in Windows so you can take photos off, but iTunes can't see it. SO, what you have to do is move the driver file (USBAAPL.SYS) to the correct location. Follow the directions I found below & your iTunes should be fixed (worked for me):
What works is to just force the drivers on what windows thinks is a camera, i.e. to ‘update’ the device to use the correct driver. There are some hints on how to do this already listed on this forum, but I’ll try to give some more detailed information:
    1. First off you need to have iTunes installed and the ipod touch plugged in
and recognized as ‘something’ e.g. digital camera (it shouldn’t really
matter what it’s recognized as, but it needs to be found by windows).
    2. Search for usbaapl in the C:\WINDOWS system folder:
o open windows explorer (e.g. Right-click Start and then click ‘explore’)
o right-click the WINDOWS folder and select ‘Search’).
o type in usbaapl and hit Search – try to ignore the dog!
You should find the driver info in a sub folder of
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE e.g. C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE\usbaapl_A65621D65F5B7 507DD7B22331826547BDD2D206B
Remember that location (either leave the search box open or copy the folder
name into note pad – you’ll need it later)
If you don’t find usbaapl.sys, usbaapl.inf etc. then your drivers have not
been installed with the iTunes install and you’ll have to reinstall iTunes.
    3. Locate the ipod-camera device:
o Open the device manager, e.g. using Start > Control Panel >
Performance and Maintenance > System > Hardware Tab > Device Manager
o Look for a device called ‘ipod’ - if your ipod shows up as
‘digital camera’ it will be under something like ‘imaging devices’.
    4. Update the driver:
o Right click the ‘ipod-camera’ in device manager and click on
‘Update Driver’ – the Hardware Update Wizard will open.
o Check the ‘Install from a list or specific location’ then click ‘Next’
o Check ‘Search for the best driver in these locations’. Un-check
‘Search removable media’ and check ‘Include this location in the search’.
In the text box below type (or better copy and paste) the folder
containing the ipod driver information found in step 1 (in the example
    above it was C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE\usbaapl_A65621D65F5B7 507DD7B22331826547BDD2D206B),
    then click Next.
You should now see something like ‘Apple ipod device driver’ or so. Continue
installing that device. Once the driver has been installed the ipod will come
to life and iTunes (if you have it open) will show it.
