ITunes Connect times out when trying to deploy an iOS app

Ive been trying for the past hour to submit an app via xCode and as it trys to log into iTunes Connect I get a time out error.  Is anyone else realizing this issue?  Does anyone know whats happening and when we can expect it to be back up?

Probably a temporary outage on the backend. Try again and it will probably work.

Why does my network connection time out when trying to download iphone4 software update?

I'm having the same problem too. I cannot sync or update over wireless or wired connections ever since I installed the most recent iTunes update. iTunes goes through the complete OS 5.0.1 download only to tell me the connection has timed out just when it seems ready to install. I've since reinstalled iTunes, I've ejected and done hard restarts on both my problem devices. I've disabled anti-virus, anti-malware, and firewall. No change in outcome except that, after doing all this, my final attempt to simply sync my 1st Gen iPad led to iTunes crashing and being automatically closed by windows just before finishing the final step. Is this a cruel joke, because I'm certain I can hear iTunes laughing at me for wasting so much time on this.

    Hi,
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Now restart your iPad.  Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
If that didn't help, you need to post in the iPad forum here.

I am using itunes 10.5. Update didnt work on last software but restore did work. Help

After two days of attempts, Google & Apple searches, one Apple post stated to turn off all firewalls and virus software and keep trying since there were 6 gazillion people trying to update.  I have Windows 7 & Kaspersky and had to diable every single safety feature in Kaspersky as well as Firewalls and it finally allowed the download and update attempt.
Glancing at the forum, there appears to be numerous other problems with missing pictures, text problems etc after the IOS5 download but fortuneately, everything seems ok so far.  Good luck, it is frustrating!  Hattie47

Based on the description, it seems that you got an issue when you deploy the code sample. If I understood clearly, I suggest that you contact the author of the code sample from the "Q and A" tab.
Also if you have the question about WOPI, I suggest that you get more effective response from

  • How do you avoid Connection Time Out when using Migration Assistant

Connection Time Out occurred when trying to use Migration Assistant to Transfer filess from a Windows Computer to a new iMac.  What do I do to avoid this?
I've connected the Windows computer to the iMac using an ethernet cable and both computers are on the same network.  When I started the transfer, it said it was copying the first file on both machines but nothing was happening.  Then finally it said there was a Connection Time out.  Is there anything else I need to check?

I suspect it has something to do with your network settings on your PC. I'd recommend calling AppleCare right away. you have 90 days of free AppleCare telelphone support, they can help walk you through the process. Also if you haven't already i'd strongly recommend Pondini's guide to using Migration Assistant. You can locate it by clicking:

  • Network connection time out when connecting to Itunes store

When I try to connect to Itunes store i get this message:
"Itunes could not connect to iTuens sore network connection has times out Make sure your network connection is active and your network setting are correct"
Can some one walk me through or link me to a site or discussion so i can get this fixed

I had the same problem several days with the AppStore. Software-downloads did not proceed, i tryed everything, shut down firewalls, change the host-file, disable proxy-server - no success.
    I have Kaspersky-Suite as firewall and anti-virus-software.
    Accidentially I find a solution:
    - select in iTunes at downloads "Proceed" of a download-entry . iTunes then connect with the server, so it is enough time to:
    - right-click on the windows-tray-symbol of Kaspersky and select "stop service" (something like that, i work with the german version).
Now, surprise, the download proceed and starts working again. In case the download is freezing again:
    - Reactivea Kaspersky-service with right-click as described above, then deactive the serve again as i described.
Seems this "Workaround" opens a door to an network-connection Kaspersky usually block by itself.
Shutdown the firewall and finishing the Firewall-Software is a good idea, but you never know, which process is running in the background despite you shutdown everything possible...
Hope the "solution" is working for you!

  • Session time out when trying to redeem card!?

hi, I have tried to redeem my card 5 times now, and itunes keeps saying "session time out your sessions has timed out please try this operation from beginning" I am dualbooting windows xp and windows 7, I have used both OS's and still the same thing. when I try to redeem it on my ipod touch it tells me I have the wrong code. I do not have a mac availble im on vecation and only brought the PC laptop.
if it matters im using the itunes canadian store.

    This worked for me:
Establish in her router a WEP 128 bit data encryption password. (Post back if you need help on this). Apparently macs have slightly different Airport drivers and work better with WEP 128 bit than with WPA although this doesn't explain why my friend's MB had your mum-in-law's problem but could connect to my WPA protected network - go figure! Anyway, try a different password encryption and see if that works.
As for not sending mail, check with your Mail Server what the SMTP setting should be.

  • IPad times out when trying to play shared video (solution)

Problem description: This problem has plagued me for months.  I have a series of home videos and purchased movies on my Mac that I had home shared with my other Apple devices using iTunes 11.  Sometimes everything would work smoothly, but some other times one or more devices would refuse to play videos.  Over the last few days, both my iPads had refused to play any home shared videos ("The request timed out." would pop after a long wait).  On the other hand, my Apple TV and iPhone would play these nicely.  Also, all music shared via home sharing would play on all devices.
Cause identified: I am using a BELKIN Wireless Dual-Band N+ Router.  I had it set up with the same SSID for both the 2.4GHz and the 5GHz bands in the hope that my streaming devices would automatically choose the highest performing configuration.  It turns out they did not.  While troubleshooting the time out issue, I configured the two wireless bands with separate SSID's which allowed me to observe that both iPads had trouble using the 5 GHz band (N mode only).  I could not even get them to validate the pre-shared keys on this band.  When switching all devices to the 2.4 GHz band (B+G+N mode), boom! everything started working nicely!  The iPads seem to have an issue with the N WiFi mode on the 5 GHz band.
Solution: If using a dual band wireless router, try each band separately with unique SSID's/pre-shared keys.  Choose the best performing one, and make sure your devices "forget" any wireless configuration that seems to be causing trouble so they won't later on decide to switch back to them.

You need to set the band on the wireless router.  Depending on your router model, do that either from your browser, or using the software that came on a CD-ROM.
To use your browser, you need to enter the router's IP address, usually http://192.168.2.1/.   This may me different for different router manufacturers.  Check the WiFi settings once you are able to log on.  The browser-based interface may require an admin password.  In most cases the default password is blank, but, again, different manufacturers use different defaults.  It is best to use a computer that is hard wired to the router using an ethernet cable.  That way the wireless changes will not affect your connection to the router.
Once the band is set in the router, your iPad or AppleTV should be able to detect your wireless network.  Once you change the band, the devices may ask you for your wireless password again.

  • Connection Timing Out When Trying to Load Webpages

I have a 15 inch mid-2012 Macbook Pro. Recently, I have been having some serious problems with my connections. It seems that on my main account only secure websites will load and all others will just time out. I have tried 4 different we browsers, but they all have the same issue. I created a test account that started with default settings and Safari won't load anything there. It is not my connection, as I have tried multiple different locations and it happens at all of them. Also, my other devices still connect to the internet.
Something else I should mention is that my computer randomly shuts itself down when I have it closed. But as soon as I open it again, it starts up again making the disk noise and asking for my password. I am also running 10.10.1. I have 200 gb left on my hard drive and 16gb RAM if that matters at all (which I don't think it does but might as well give all the information)
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have been trying to fix this for a couple weeks now and no luck.

Hmmmm. Likely one of three things.
    1. One you have firewall software that is blocking the connection. You would need to check with what ever company's software you are using to find out how to check this.
    2. You might be trying when the ITMS is just too overloaded to complete the connection. You might try it at night and see if you have the same issue. If so then this is probably not it.
    3. Your ISP has a connection issue. If you go to the start menu, select RUN, then type cmd, click ok. That should open a command line window. Type ping apple.com -s 1000 and hit enter. Let it run for a couple of minutes. While it is running try to download again. Then after it has run for a while. Type CNTR - C. That will stop the ping command and return some numbers at the bottom.
    Look for two things.
    A) The percent of pack loss. It would be best if it was zero. 1% - 2% is usually tolerable. Anything more than the and your cable company has an issue.
    B) It should show a max, average, and min response time. You want the average to be less than 100ms. 150ms - 250ms is probably tolerable, but means your connection is slow. More than that means the connection is VERY VERY slow under a load.
