Itunes connectivity Issue

Hi Guys, When I connect my new Ipad to the PC, it comes up with an error to say that my PC cant connect to itunes, therefore I cant register it?
I have tried other Apple devices and they now will not connect either, even if I just try and connect to the Itunes store, it comes up with the same eroor message.
When I connect the Ipad to the Wifi network to works ok??
So now I cant dowloand anything to the Ipad
Can anyone help
cheers
Roger

When i try connecting, it stays on the screen accessing itune store and does not go any further.
With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:

(If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)

  • Download and iTunes connection issues

As of recently, I have purchased numerous audio and video files from the iTunes store with no difficulty or connection issues of any kind. Though today, I attempted to download the Iron Maiden: Flight 666 movie, and had issues with my download. Though the file is downloading, it is taking an excruciatingly long amount of time. A 3.09 Gigabyte file, a file which might have previously taken me about an hour to download on my connection, now displays an estimated download time of 17+ hours. It has been downloading now for at least an hour, and only 9.5 Megabytes have been successfully downloaded. Now, I am experiencing difficulty accessing the iTunes store at all. An error message continually pops up saying that my connection has been lost and the download pauses, though I have checked my connection time and time again. I have even contacted my internet provider, Comcast, in hopes of solving my problem. My connection is good, though iTunes itself is the only thing giving me difficulty. I have gone through all of the steps that Apple has recommended, and have not had any success in attempting to download the file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Itunes connect issues

Submitted apps have been stuck in "Processing" for 12 hours and I'm unable to remove app from waiting for review to resubmit my binary!.

I also have issues with the whole iTunes Connect process. On my first attempt, I failed the epub filter and Producer notified me of several mistakes. Those were fixed and on my second attempt I successfully uploaded my epub, metadata and cover jpg. After a couple days of Pending status the submission changed to Quality Check status and then on day nine it changed to Removed From Sale status. There was no feedback at this point, all one can do is to pore over the Apple documentation, which I did. I found that Apple requires the use of a <CONTENT> file which the official epub standard says is 'optional.' Well it is optional for everyone but Apple. On my third attempt at upload with the afforementioned problem fixed, the Removed From Sale status never changed during the next ten buiness days. So again, I carefully scrutinized every page of every Apple document related to this whole process. I found out that I had capitalized all the letters in the meta data book title and author's name. This by itself results in a rejection (the docs say.) I also found a few more minor glitches, nits really. I am on my forth upload and the status still shows Removed from Sale. I am POSITIVE that everything is fixed this time but Apple does not answer my emails. There are no telephone numbers to call. It is all very frustrating. What I am afraid of is that once a Removed from Sale sataus is assigned, that no matter how many time you resubmit your package, no one looks at it again?!? I cannot find anywhere in Apple documentation what an author does in this situation? Do we start over from scratch and upload a new book? Apple, please tell us and we will comply!!!

  • How can I resolve iPod Touch 4th gen charging and iTunes connection issue?

I have an iPod Touch 4th generation and the other day it stopped charging.  When I pug it in, it appears to be receiving a minimal charge to keep it alive, but isn't restoring the battery life and doesn't show that the battery is accepting the charge.  After plugging it in for a day, the battery was only partially charged to approximately 20%.  I've tried several USB cables and different plug-ins to no avail.
Then I tried to connect it to the computer and iTunes doesn't recognize it.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Apple Device Manager and iTunes software, and resetting the iPod.  I've also tried holding the sleep and home buttons at the same time while connecting the iPod to the computer with iTunes software open.  Nothing seems to work.  I have other iPods/iPhones that connect to iTunes without issue, so it is isolated event with this iPod Touch.  I was hoping to restore the iPod to its original settings to see if that would do the trick, but am unable to figure out how without iTunes.  Any suggestions?  help!

    Not Charge
    - See:
    iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting
    - Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.
    - Try another charging source
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    - Make an appointment at the Genus Bar of an Apple store.

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Safari/ITunes Connectivity Issues

Not sure why, but my connection speed in Safari and to the iTunes store slowed way down about five days ago. ISP is Comcast. Comcast tech said modem connection and speeds measure fine, but Safari is taking much longer to load web pages. I have already tried resetting Safari... no improvement. The iTunes connection is much slower as well and I recently discovered I can no longer preview movies in iTunes. Can anybody help?

    New Imac Guy --
    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
    Think back really carefully, OK?
Did you change anything before the slow-down???
Do any updates, add any new apps or fonts?
Here's how I make sure Safari is all cleaned up.
Do these basics & report back, OK ?
    1. Empty your cache & History settings via the Safari menu
    2. Trash your Icons Folder:
    HD>Users>Home>YourName>Library>Safari -->Icons
Restart Safari and a new folder will be automatically regenerated.
(This folder saves favicons of all the sites you visit. Needs cleaning periodically -- or you can change that file's preferences to "Read Only"
rather than "Read & Write." This will keep it from growing in size.)
    3. Launch Font Book and check all fonts for duplicates. A duplicated font will have a bullet beside the font family and you can resolve duplicates by selecting the font and at the menu bar, go to Edit > Resolve Duplicates.
Do this for each font with a bullet next to it.
    If you're still having problems:
    4. Shut down your computer . . . unplug the computer, modem, and router, if you have one. Let everything sit for 2-3 minutes. Plug everything back in, start up your modem & router, then restart your computer.
    5. Do you have internet apps SpeedDownload, iGetter, PithHelmet, Acid Search, Safari Enhancer ? Or Norton or Virex? Sometimes non-apple internet apps need updating or uninstalling. If you do, let us know which ones and which version, please.
    Hope this helps

  • Iphone 5 Itunes Connection Issue

I have read quite a few threads about this issue but have yet to find a resolve.  I just picked up an Iphone 5 due to my 4s being dropped one too many times.  When I connected it to my Itunes, it says that I need Itunes 10.7 or later.  I downloaded 10.7 but when I went to install it, it said I need an OS of 10.6 or later (I  have 10.5.8 which for my Macbook is apparently as far as I can go.
I did not back up on Icloud before getting the new phone now I am stuck.  Can someone help me with this?  There has to be a way to get this fixed.  Upon getting my new phone my IT dept accidentally deleted all my contacts that the VZW store transferred for me by mistake.

the solution is literally right infront of you. You need to update the mac, before you can update the itunes, before you can use itunes with your iphone 5.
you can call applecare to see if your macbook will upgrade any further. 1800 my apple

  • IPad 3 iOS 8 iTunes Connectivity Issue with same PC

    Hi all,
Thank you for reading my post.
I have an issue with my iPad3 and iTunes. Basically, I had synced my iPad and my PC (Lenovo Thinkpad T400) a long time ago. I then formatted my laptop to keep it going and all. Now, I want to transfer an iMovie (~450 mb) by syncing but, I get an error saying that I must erase the iPad and then sync because I have a "different iTunes library" I don't know what's the point, but this is the exact same laptop running the exact same OS (MS Windows 7 Pro) and authorized (Trust this computer on iPad) but it still won't let me do this. I have a lot of pictures, videos and important emails on this iPad and under any circumstances, do not want to erase it. The iPad is 32GB and has 5gigs of free space. It doesn't connect to my Mac either.
Please let me know if you can help at the earliest, ( gotta go places)
    Thanks a lot!!
    Matt

Your post is quite confusing, for several reasons.
First of all, you're talking about a Lenovo PC, but you have posted in the "iTunes for Mac" forum.  Your profile indicates you have a MacBook Pro, but it's not at all clear if that enters into your scenario.
Secondly, it sounds like perhaps you're trying to use an iPad to do the "transfer an iMovie".  If so, that is the source of your issue.  The iPad cannot serve as a storage device to transfer iTunes data from one PC to another.  You must use your computer's backup to do that.  If you reformatted your laptop's disk, then it likely looks like a new computer to iTunes.  You must restore the old backup to move the iTunes data to the newly formatted disk.

  • Cant login my username on itunes, connection issues

I just bought a new computer, and downloaded itunes 9.0.3. I forgot my password to my account so i did a password reset. Since then i know my password is correct, but everytime i load itunes and try to login, it says one of two things: the password or username is incorrect; or cannot connect to itunes store, check your connection or settings and try again. I tried to login on my old laptop and it has the same error message. I've already checked firewall and its all good. Is this a new issue with itunes??

You can try this, type your new password in ALL CAPS and see if it gives you an error message and then lets you type it in correctly.

  • Itune connectivity issue

I am able to connect to the store with ie but not with Itunes, any idea how to fix ths issue on Windows 7 ?
checked all firewalls and proxy setting ... all good in the diagnostic other than timeout the connectin (only within itunes, working fine with ie)
many thanks to anyone that can help resolving this issue

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

  • Itunes Connection Issues on DSL

I am able to connect to the itunes store after I restart my computer (solution). The problems is that everyday when I get on my computer, after it sits all day with the hard drive and screen sleep engaged, I am unable to connect to the itunes store. I am able to access the internet without any problems. Restarting itunes does not solve the problem, only restarting the computer. Any ideas?

Also, if I kill the wifi on my phone and connect to itunes through 3G, thenswitch on wifi again, intunes works, but I have no way of knowing if the phone is defaulting to 3G usage or if it's actually using wifi during  the itunes session...

  • IPhone 4 weird computer/iTunes connecting issues

So recentely I noticed the battery in my iPhone 4 start declining dramatically. Before, it chould hold it's charge for close to two days. Depeding on what I did with it. Now it was dying in 6 hours. The last time it died, when I plugged it into my wall charger to charge, I noticed that it came up to a configure lock screen. Telling me to "slide to set up" which then prompted me to connect to iTunes.
A little annoyed at this point, but just thinking my phone has auto re-set itself for some reason, I use the same USB cable to plug into my computer...
    1. Chord works, but phone gets stuck on a blinking apple logo. It will stay on the apple logo screen for around 4 seconds, go black, and repeat.
    2. Computer nor iTunes is reconizing my iPhone even being plugged in.
    3. I have tried to do DFU and Recovery mode, neither option works for my computer and iTunes aren't even seeing the phone.
    4. I have tried multiple computers to see if it may be my computer.
    5. Have done the device services test, and it seems to be working properly. Started, and automatic and all that.
Please, help. I am not sure what the problem is.
The only thing I have left to think of is the chord is working with the wall charger but not the computer? Which doesn't make sense as the phone is still getting to the apple screen. Big thanks in adavance for any help!

My iPod classic 160 G never connects to iTunes on the first try. It has no problem connecting to Windows XP, but in order to connect to iTunes, i have to reset the iPod every time.

  • App store/ iTunes connection issues

Hey there!  I tried to update my computer to mountain lion today, but when I tried downloading it from the app store I got the message, "We could not complete your purchase.  Unknown error."
After that, I looked for some fixes and eventually tried signing into iTunes just to see what would happen.  When I do that, I get an error saying, "We could not complete your iTunes store request.  The secure network connection was refused."  Basically, both programs are completely useless at this stage.  I can't sign in to itunes, but I can sign in to the app store.  I can't download apps from the app store or update anything I have downloaded so far.  I live in the U.S., but right now I'm in Australia for college.  I'm not sure if that helps, but everything else I've tried to sign in to since I got here has given me problems because of the change of location.
I've tried signing in and out of both programs, restarting my computer and trying again, deleting the "/folders" folder in the "/Var" folder, and incessantly clicking download while praying for some form of divine help to solve the problem.
I've also just found out that signing out of the App Store causes the program to force quit, which is probably (I assume) abnormal.
Anybody have some fixes for me?
    Thanks in advance.

Apparently, signing in to the app store also causes it to force quit =/

    Hi evanVIT,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that issues like the one you are experiencing can be very frustrating. For this situation however, for update errors in the range of 3000-3020, I would recommend the troubleshooting steps located in the attached article. Please use the steps and information as a reference.

  • Ipod connection issues with itunes

i know, i am the one-thousandth person to write in about a connection issue, but i just bought a 8gb nano. my pc is recognizing the ipod, but itunes does not automatically start.
instead, if i manually try to start up itunes, it either doesn't start at all, or when it does, it immediately locks up. or it will try as hard as it can to sync and then locks up.
once i disconnect the ipod from the usb port, itunes will come back to life. i have done EVERYTHING the support pages say, reinstalled itunes, dumped temp files, stopped conflicting software...everything short of sending in the new ipod to be serviced. please if you have run into this particular problem and/or you know how to fix this issue, please respond
i don't really want to send a brand-freaking-new ipod off to be serviced b/c i think this is a software issue.

    Hello lalajamjam,
It sounds like you've done a rather good job of troubleshooting already. Other than testing to see if the issue is user-specific per ( http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1717 ) and possibly testing the Nano on another computer, there are few additional steps to try prior to getting it serviced.
