"Itunes could not connect to this iPod"
When connecting my ipod touch to my pc, I get the following: "ITunes could not connect to this iPod. An unknown error occurred (OxE800000A).
This occurred after updating iTunes on my pc.

Just bought new iPod touch. When I connect to computer to sync it tells me "iTunes could not connect to this iPod touch. Could not send a message to device." Not sure if it is b/c of an older version of iTunes but connecting via wifi sync unacceptable
What version of iTunes is on the computer? You need at least 11.4.

How do I fix this "iTunes could not connect to this iPod touch. Could not allocate a resource."
Believe I have my iPhone and iPod touch up to date, but now every time I plug in, I cannot update anything, and just get this message "iTunes could not connect to this iPod touch. Could not allocate a resource."
I have thrown out stuff in the Lockdown folder and done some things in Terminal app, but nothing fixes it.

Just had a hard drive problem, no idea why, but the macbookpro hd just went boom and the volume directory was shot took it down to the apple store and they re-installed everything.
tried to connect my iTouch and I get the error iTunes could not connect to this iPod because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000001)...
plus the iTouch does not show up on any of our 5 macs and gives the same error, but never did before.[Unknown error containing '0xE' when connecting|http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3221] has your error number listed. There are some fairly straightforward troubleshooting ideas.

i updated the newest version of itunes on our 3rd gen itouch, now we get the message itunes couldnot connect to this ipod because an unknown error occurred (0XE8000001) - what do we do?

For some reason iTunes isn't able to read my ipod anymore, installed the new version of itunes after not using it for a while and now iTunes won't read anything from it.

This is the error message I get whenever I try to connect to itunes with my iPod touch or iPhone 4.
I would try:

or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7 -
and i cant restore because my music and stuff are not on itune because i restored my computer

Has anyone else had an experience like this?Yeah! Same here... It's like when I connect my Touch to the computer and open itunes, it just freezes and i have to click the close button all the time... It's really annoying. It just happened a couple of days ago.

Itunes could not connect to your ipod because it is lock with with a passcode
itunes could not connect to your ipod because it is lock with with a passcode.
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad/iPod into Recovery Mode
