ITunes crash when trying to play a video
When i try to play one of my tv programs itunes crashes/freezes and i have to open task manager to close it. Im running on win7 and have the lastest verison of QT and ITunes.
Is it giving you an "iTunes has stopped working" error?
If so, let's try the following user tip:

Fully updated version of iTunes crashes when trying to play purchased video
i am running iTunes on both my macbook pro and my iMac (both Intel). whenever i try to play the Dark Knight digital copy or a purchased video from iTunes, my iTunes crashes and self quits. i have successfully transfered the dark knight to my iPod and it plays fine. i have no clue why i can't watch these videos. also on a side note, the preview option in Finder also crashes my Finder when i try to watch these videos. any answers? thank you!
There's another thread on here that suggested re-installing iTunes. That works for me (in that the videos play), but I have to re-install iTunes every time I want to watch them which is a pain. So if anyone has a more permanent fix...

Help - Itune crash while trying to play purchased video
Itunes will freeze or crash anytime I try to play a tv show or movie purchased off of Itunes. I noticed I'm not the only person with the problem. Maybe Apple can try and fix the problem for its customers ??
I have intalled all the latest drivers and reinstalled Itunes and maniplated Quicktime - I think apple now needs to stop accusing the customers and fix the itunes software -
Thank youmany thanks.

Okay. let's first try uninstalling and reinstalling your QuickTime. We'll also take a few other explicit precautions, just in case. Best to print out a copy of these instructions, because at one stage of proceedings you won't be able to use a web browser.
Preliminaries
Download and save a copy of the QuickTimeInstaller.exe file from the Apple Website. (Don't run the install on line and don't start the install just yet. get the installer that doesn't mention iTunes.)
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
*Uninstall phase*
Head into your Uninstall a program control panel and uninstall QuickTime.
Next, we'll remove any leftover program files and folders.
In Computer, open your C drive.
Open the "Program Files (x86)" folder.
Right-click on the "QuickTime" folder (if it still exists) and select "Delete".
Go back into your C drive (or whichever drive your operating system is installed on).
Open the "Windows" folder.
Open the "SysWOW64" folder.
Right-click on the "QuickTime" file (if it still exists) and select "Delete".
Right-click on the "QuickTimeVR" file (if it still exists) and select "Delete".
Empty your recycle bin.
*Reinstall phase*
Restart the PC. After the PC restarts do not open any applications. Disconnect from your network and/or the internet. Now switch off all your security software (firewall, antivirus, antispyware).
Now start the reinstall by doubleclicking the QuickTimeInstaller.exe file you downloaded earlier.
Reenable all security software prior to reconnecting to the internet and/or your network.
Does the QuickTime reinstall seem to go through smoothly? If so, try launching iTunes again and trying to play one of the affected videos. Do you still get the same iTunes error, or are the files playing properly now? -
Itunes crashes when trying to play videos
My itunes will not play any video (movies, music videos, previews in itunes, etc). It crashes and shuts down itunes every time i try. any ideas or help? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of itunes already. They will play in quicktime, just not in itunes. They movies i have in itunes are a mix of digital downloads and movies bought from itunes store. They worked a few deays ago, and after the new software update, they no longer will.
It didn't work for me. I open itunes 10.7 and try to play Schindler's List HD which is an iTunes digital download I got when I purchased the movie and voila! iTunes crashes harder than a NASCAR driver trying to close the distance. I can't play this movie in VLC, DIVX, Windows Media Player, iTunes, nothing. I also have Bourne Legacy HD with same issues. Can't play movies that are HD. Any help here would be great.

Safary crashes when trying to play a video

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens. -
ITunes crashes when trying to play certain songs
Every time I try to navigate to a certain artist iTunes crashes and gives me a panic report. It doesn't happen with all the media in my library, only this one particular artist. I am happy to include any information that is useful to you guys from the report, just let me know what part you need.
This has happened before and as far as I remember I never figured out what was causing it. Either I deleted the media from my iMac or it stopped crashing.. I can't remember.
Anyway, any help is appreciated.
My system:
10.8.4
iMac 2.93 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4 GB RamI see .
Does the site is legal ?
I do not suggest to download songs from sites which are not valid ,
These sites have viruses etc. -
ITunes crashes when trying to play music
When I try to play music, either by double clicking on a song, or by clicking on it, and then play, it crashes iTunes. I was able to listen to it yesterday, but today I have not.
Although I cant play music, I can still go into Music Store and listen to the 30 sec clips.
I have tried
-Reinstalling iTunes
-Restarting my Computer
-Deleting playlists, songs, etc (By Deleting the stuff in My Music\iTunes)
-Deleting temporary files
-Looking across the internet for possible reasons for my error
After crashing, I get this information:
AppName: itunes.exe AppVer: 6.0.4.2 ModName: itunes.exe
ModVer: 6.0.4.2 Offset: 000ce0fa
Thank You for trying to help me, this has been annoying me for quite some time.Oh yeah, I forgot to say that i've also trashed my old iTunes and re-installed, and trashed the prefs.

Unable to load media error when trying to play a video in Sharepoint 2013
My team consistently gets an error when trying to play a video in SharePoint 2013. I can upload it, pick a thumbnail and save it. When anyone else goes to the intranet site and tries to play the video, they get a media failed to load error.
I have tried mp4 and wmv formats. I at first thought it had to do with the codec used in Camtasia to create the video, so I encoded it in Microsoft Encoder to a wmv and it still fails. All of the videos I upload fail for other users. If someone else uploads
a video, I get the error and cannot play the video. If I look at the library in Explorer, the video file is missing but the subdirectories for additional content and thumbnails are present. For the videos I upload and can play but everyone else
gets the error, I see those subdirectories as well as the video file itself.Result

On my Ipad I seem to be having a problem when trying to play YouTube videos embedded on Facebook.
When I click the links, I get a message saying: "Flash Player upgrade required."
and under it, it says, "You need to download and install the lastes version of Adobe Flash Player to view this content"
and also a green button saying "Get Flash Player"
I get this if using chrome or safari .
I can go direct to YouTube it just works. The Facebook link to the video is accessing an Adobe Flash video. Unfortunately, no iOS devices can play flash.
