Itunes crashing the computer

Hey all,
I just bought the Iphone 4 and I've come home to install Itunes to sync it all. I've downloaded the 9.2 version for windows 7. Everything installs fine, When i launch Itunes, It opens up fine, but after a couple of seconds of running, I get a blue screen of death.
Any idea on how to fix this??

What alphanumeric and text codes do you see on the screen? (For example, 0x0000008E: KERNELMODE_EXCEPTION_NOTHANDLED.)
If the blue screen mentions a specific file too, let us know what that is called (for example, ati3duag.dll). Precise spelling, please. Include filename extensions like .sys or .dll.

There are third party PC/Mac applications which can restore the music on your computer from your iPhone.

The device will have to be restored but without the last computer it was synced to, that's not a possibility.
Take the iPod to an Apple store or Apple certified repair shop.
You will need a computer in order to sync, restore, and update the iPod in the future.

I have tried to syn the phone to the computer but it has not worked. I once got a message that stated, "would you like to make you phone music library the same as that on the computer" or something to that affect, I said no ( I have no music on the computer!) I need to get the music on my Iphone into the Itunes of the computer. Thanks for any advice

i had the same problem, my MBA hd was corrupted and had to reinstall osx. all data was lost, the option to retain data, did not work. the only way i was able to retain the saved itune data on my iphone and itouch and ipod was to buy a transfer software and backup the music/books into a file on the mac then transfer back to the new itunes. but lots of work since the files do not transfer in the same order as it is in the devices. if you find a easy way let me know.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

I recently got an ipod touch that was reset before being given to me. It wouldn't connect to iTunes or the computer but would still charge in the USB port. I updated iTunes and tried doing a soft reset holding down home and sleep. Then I realized on the screen that says "connect to iTunes", on the top right it would say "iPod" and in the middle it would show a little lock symbol. I was told this ment it was disabled and that's why it wouldn't work. But how would I restore it or reset it if I cannot get passed the connect to itunes screen and it wont connect to the computer. Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

My iPad has been stolen. Someone broke into my house on Tuesday. I have already tried locking it through icloud. I have reported this to the authorities but they cannot do much unless I give them the serial number to the iPad. With the serial number they can put it into a database and send that inormation to pawn shops, so i the theie tries to pawn it, the pawn shop employeee can convscate the iPad and hand it over to the authorites. Apps and music are forever tied to the Apple ID under which they were purchased. If you don't want to continue to get that message, delete the apps and purchase them again with your new Apple ID.
