Itunes crashs each time I connect my IPHONE 3G

Hi,
I cannot synchronize my Iphone since 4 weeks ago. Each time I connect my Iphone to my computer Itunes crashes and freeze right away.
I already uninstalled and installed Itunes following the steps from the apple website.

Make sure the iPhone is directly connected to a high-speed USB2 port on the PC, not plugged into a hub, monitor, or keyboard. Also make sure the iPhone is connected using the cable that came with it.
Does iTunes quit unexpectedly when syncing the iPhone in another user account or on another computer? This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275 will walk you through creating another user account.
Try restoring the iPhone from recovery mode as shown here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 Restoring the iPhone could cause some of the information to be lost if there is not a current backup. This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766 provides more information about iPhone backups.

I use the last version of both iTunes (11.1.5 64 bits, last version detected) and Windows 8.1 on an Asus G750J (64 bits) and for several weeks now iTunes crashes EACH TIME I connect or disconnect ANY USB device (not only my iPhone, but my external hard disk or my... mouse) and even my Ethernet port...
None of my other softawares are impacted

Reinstalling the 64 bit version in the x36 programm folder seems to solve the problem but it's not satisfactory. I'd prefer to keep the advantage of beeing under the 64 bits version.

I have tried restarting the iPhone and computer and uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes to no avail.

Itunes crashes every time I connect my Ipod..

I had my Ipod connected while running a software update 1-2 weeks ago. Shortly after the update completed, my computer gave me "A computer must be restarted" mesage, and promptly shut down all the programs I was using and rebooted. Currently, not only does Safari refuse to operate, my Itunes crashes every time I connect my Ipod, preventing me from altering information or transferring songs. I've done everything but 'restore'-- I'm afraid that if I reset my Ipod, I'll lose the songs I already have.

Please, kindly assist me with following challenges. I use iphone 3GS. I have used the phone for almost a year now. My iphone 3GS cannot connect to the itunes store. Each time I connect my phone to my Laptop through itunes. A message will automatically come up which states that "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. An unknoown error occured (306)". It also make a footnote which states "make sure that your network connection ia active and try again". When I click the button labeled OK just below the messages, another message will come up which reads, "A new iphone software version (5.1) is available for the iphone software. Would you like to download it and update your iphone now?". It gives me the option buttons such as CANCEL or DOWNLOAD AND UPDATE or DOWNLOAD ONLY. If I click on DOWNLOAD AND UPDATE or DOWNLOAD ONLY. The above challenge has continued for more that 3 months now. Whenever I clicked on Download and Update or Download Only, the next message that comes up is that The iphone Software Update Server Could not be Contacted and suggest make sure your network setting are correct and active or try again later.

ITunes crashes every time i connect my new iPhone to it...

i wanted to add some music and photos to my iPhone (which i did back in December successfully) and every single time i connect the iPhone to iTunes, I get the spinning cursor, then it crashes and goes to that, "send report to apple" screen.
i updated my system software a while back to 10.5, and more recently did the update to 10.5.6.
i reinstalled iTunes
i restored my iPhone 3G
i have run Disk Utility twice
the iPhone is FULLY CHARGED
basically i have done all of what Apple suggests and I am getting nowhere. my guess is that there might be a bug with 10.5.6 that is conflicting somehow.
please help! i've spent a lot of money on all this and to not have it work is extremely frustrating!

ITunes crashes each time I try to access Music Videos

I have downloaded (twice) the newest version of iTunes (7.2?) and have access to the music store, but each time I try to access the music videos, iTunes closes and also states that I do not have album artwork on my computer. I have run diagnostics (see below) and followed the tread instructions to flush DNS. Thus far, nothing has helped. Any suggestions?

I have the exact same issue when I try to access either tv shows or movie shows. I get an on the page error saying something about artwork being shown on this comnputer, then it locks up for 30 seconds. I then get a message that Itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. Then it crashes.
I have to smile when Windows wants to send the error message to Microsoft. At least Microsoft attempts to provide support and patches, but nothing from Apple given all the crashing problems with Itunes 7.
Apple should have done a better job testing Itunes 7. They now need to fix it or junk it. I tried going back to Itunes 6, but 6 won't let me download tv shows or movies.

Why does my iTunes crash every time I connect a particular device and only that device?

I am trying to switch from an iPhone 5 to a 5s. (The 5s is a company phone and was previously used by another employee.) The instant I connect the 5s to my computer I get a popup that says "iTunes has stopped working" and then the program closes. My iTunes works perfectly fine when I connect the 5 or any other device, so the issue must be with the phone. Why does this happen? How can I fix this?
I did notice when I connect the 5 to my commuter and I open devices two items show up, iPhone and a USB Apple one. When I connect the 5s only the USB Apple device shows up. The iPhone device does not.

ITunes crashes each time I import a CD

I just updated to 8.0 (MISTAKE) and now everytime I import a CD iTunes/explorer stop working. I have to ctrl/alt/delete to get out of it and restart the computer to use iTunesor explorer again. Additional error messages say Agnt.exe and mmjb.exe are not responding. Help desk told me to uninstall and reinstall. Upon uninstalling no cd drivers worked, though they are back now that I reinstalled (but my speakers don't work). What gives?? Any ideas?

I had the same problem, I realised it was my proxy server blocking itunes from going away and getting the track information. I unchecked *Itunes>preferences>general>automatically retrieve cd track names from the internet* and it stopped it crashing.

ITunes 11.0.2 crashes each time i try running/syncing app after connecting to the iPad mini.

I have never experienced this before and my iphone 4, still on iOS 6.1.2 is still able to load the apps perfectly with iTunes.
I have tried installing/uninstalling iTunes. Deleted the music/playlists in my iTunes folder. Restoring my iPad to previous backup.
But all have failed.
Is anyone experiencing the same problem or had this problem before? Please provide me some suggestions/help because it's getting really annoying being unable to load/sync my apps.

I have tried reseting the ipad as well but it didn't help. iTunes still crash each time i tried syncing the apps.
I authorized my friend's laptop to sync things into my iPad and it worked. I think the problem is with my computer but I dont know what went wrong because I never had this problem before.
I also did sfc/scannow with cmd but doesn't seem to solve the problem.
Any more ideas?

Gotcha, sorry, I'm guessing you are referring to Windows Autoplay. This should do it:
Type regedit into your search bar and bring up Registry editor. Go to the the very top with My Computer. Now go to Edit and Find. Type in the whole offending name that is bugging you, i.e. Soandso's iPhone and hit find. After it searches your registry and finds the first name select it and Edit the Name. I copy/pasted it for all the next steps. After you have found the first name don't stop there. Use F3 to find next Name in registry and So on and so fourth until you have replaced every offending name in your whole registry with the Name you want to show up i.e. Tom's iPhone or whatever? Repeat all of these steps if you have more than one name showing up in your devices? Worked 100% for me. Close regedit and reboot (very important for changes.) Plug your iPhone back in and enjoy all your names back to normal.
