ITunes deleted music that I purchased from my phone.
Alright, so I was at home and downloaded a ton of songs. When I came back to my University and after I synched my iPhone to my computer all the songs I recently downloaded were deleted. What the heck!?!?
In regards to iTunes content, and photos transferred to your iPhone, this data can be synced with a single computer only.
If this music was purchased from the iTunes Store, iTunes includes an option to transfer content purchased from the iTunes Store from an iPod or iPhone, but this is for content that was purchased from the iTunes Store only.
With your iPhone connected to another computer used, and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone. If this computer is not registered with the iTunes Store, you must register the computer before being able to play any of this music with iTunes on this computer. You can have a maximum of 5 computers authorized to play the same iTunes content purchased with the same iTunes account.
You can sync contact information, calendar events, and bookmarks with multiple computers, but not iTunes content, or photos transferred from a computer to an iPhone.

Can I have in one iphone 5 music from more than one itunes accounts? My daughter and I have our music in the same pc. She and I have iTunes accounts. I have not been able to load in my ophone with my itunes acct music that she purchased in her account. I have not been able to do this. Thanks
iTunes Match is not sharable across Apple IDs. The best way to get the music on her iPad is to leave hers signed into her Apple ID on the iTunes Store and sync via USB.

I am unable to download music that I purchased from itunes. I can download recent purchases, but not ones that I made last year or earlier.
Cdadd,
If by any chance you have made purchases with more than one account, you must check for past purchases separately for each account. -
I have an old itunes account . I recently got an IPhone which gave me a new Itunes account. How can I get all of the music that I purchased under my old account to transfer to my new account.
Unless you transfer the files from Setup Assistant, Migration Assistant creates a new user with the data.
To transfer the files to your first user, you have to log on this new user, and copy all your files to /Users/Shard folder. This is a folder where you can put the files you want to share between two or more users, and all users can read and write in it.
After copying the files, go to your first user, open /Users/Shared folder, and copy the files to your user folders. If you migrated applications, you must know that they are stored in a common folder (/Applications), so you don't have to transfer them. To open /Users/Shared folder, open Go menu (in the menu bar) > Go to Folder, and type the folder -
I upgraded from an iPhone2 to an iPhone4s and now my ringtones are gone. I still have the music that I bought from iTunes that I made the ringtones from but I can't seem to get anything to work. Help! Thanks.
For the font problems, try the "Safe Mode" suggestion in this old thread:

...Found by doing THIS. Also see this Apple doc:

I want to upgrade my phone to the new software and it says that I have purchases from my phone not added to my itunes library, so when I go to the songs they are all grayed out and I cannot download. So please help me.
Best route would be to shutdown the computer and restart from cold.
Make a secure backup of your Songs.
Uninstall iTunes.
Install the latest version of iTunes. -
Burning music that I purchased from itunes.
I'm trying to burn music from my itunes library. All of my music that has protected AAC file will not burn. Why is this when I paid for it?
There is no reason that you cannot burn a audio cd for your protected songs. The only restriction is:
" You shall be authorized to burn an audio playlist up to seven times."

When you buy music, you pay for the right to use it for your personal use. You do not own the song. The record label and artist still own the music. -
How do i download music that i purchased from my ipod to my laptop?
...
If the music is still on the iPod, then when connected to your computer's iTunes have you tried doing File > Transfer Purchases to see if that copies them over ?
If the music is no longer on the iPod, then if you are in US then you should be able to re-download music purchases from iTunes as long as they are still available in the store and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to purchase the music : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 -
I am not able to delete music that was synced on my phone by the cloud off of my phone
For some reason some of my families music has ended up on my phone because of the cloud and i cannot figure out how to delete it. I have tried to delete all my music off of my phone but the 200 songs that i do not want stay on there. I turned off the show all music button in the setting and nothing. I have also tried to delete them individually off of my phone but you cant slide to delete them, it wont let me but it lets me delete all the music i do want...... Can someone please explain to me how to get them off
I am having the same problem. Someone called me last night for two hours and the calls never came through, the missed call list doesn't show that they called, and voice mail mesages did not get relayed to the phone. The caller says that some of my calls went straight to voice mail. I called AT&T and they said that they did not have any problems in my area last night and instead suggested that I turn my phone off and on again to reconnect to the network.

Can't delete music that was downloaded from itunes wirelessly.
If I download music from itunes app, it seems to be permanent. I have tried syncing with "manual" and "only checked music" options (and without) and I simply cannot delete those songs on my phone. Anything that I've ripped from CD or downloaded from iTunes to my laptop are removable via syncing.
thanks for any help with this.
Message was edited by: SabicasOk, I figured it out, sort of. I mentioned that I had "sync only checked songs" and "manually manage" both checked. I went to the iTunes music tab and the "Sync Music" checbox was unchecked. I checked it again, which of course unchecks "manually manage". I told it NOT to transfer purchased items and synced. the songs are finally deleted but I have to say this iTunes is not as intuitive as it should be. I still don't get what I just did. Trial and error.........

I'm having problems transferring my new music that I purchased from my iphone to itunes
I just purchased an album from my itunes store app on my iphone successfully. When I tried to sync the phone to my macbook, it shows as if it did not sync the new album. It's 'grayed' out and it shows a gray squiggly icon on the right side of it. What does this mean?
hopefully something in here is helpful?

I don't have a cloud icon on my ipad or iphone
There is no iCloud icon because iCloud is a service, not an app. You create an iCloud account by going to Settings>iCloud, signing in with your Apple ID and turning on the data you wish to sync with iCloud.
However, you don't need an iCloud account to redownload your music from iCloud. It downloads from the iTunes store, not from a personal iCloud account. This article explains how to do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519. -
